Who doesn't love a great diner? This is one of the best! Snag a bar stool or a table (there will likely be a wait at peak times on weekends) and settle in for a breakfast that will last you all day.

Being my first time I had to opt for the Yukon Style Bacon & Eggs. Perfectly cooked, delicious but a load of food so order accordingly! Next time it'll be eggs benedict and a slice of homemade pie to go!

Service was great. Buzzy, diner atmosphere. What else could you want? Mint in your water bottle? Sure!

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Everything seemed to be homemade. We will definitely come again. I had the turkey dinner and family member had the roast beef dinner! Highly recommend.

I have been wanting to try this place ever since I moved to Vancouver, and today is the day I tried it. If you love breakfast, then this is the place for you! The food was great despite the long wait. I would recommend you order the mixed grill if you have a huge appetite. It's so worth it for the price. Fun Fact: The restaurant was established in 1926, making them the oldest restaurant in Vancouver!

Just are here. Had the French toast with sausage. It was the best french toast I've ever had! Massive portions, fair pricing, great atmosphere.

The Tomahawk is my favorite breakfast restaurant. I have been coming here for decades and it is still great. On Sunday morning it was bustling with customers and did not disappoint. In fact, I believe that they have stepped up their game. My Westcoast Benny was extra special and my friend's eggs, sausages and pancakes disappeared quickly too. This restaurant is nearing a 100 year anniversary and should be on your list for a great meal at a reasonable price in a Westcoast atmosphere delivered by exceptional friendly service. Keep smiling.

Restaurant had a smell to it. We weren't very hungry and were told we had to pay $5 to share a meal.

It's hard to believe that such a peaceful and quiet place to sit out on the patio and enjoy a comfortable evening is hardly a block away from a major road in NV. It had been quite some time since I was last in. The food was as good as I remembered having previously, over the last 65+ years of coming here.

I love the history of this place and all the artifacts displayed. You could spend hours here and always find something new to stare at. The atmosphere is homey, full of a mixture of memorabilia and local First Nations carvings from the owners’ past. Chuck the owner is very kind and a wonderful guy to chat with. The food is also delicious, full of depth, fresh, and the price is more than fair. They have such a wide selection of choices and the ingredients are always fresh and locally sourced. I really recommend you give one of North Van’s most iconic places a try!

As French tourists, we discovered that place by chance…FANTASTIC value for money and very good food! Very nice ambiance too. Congratulations to the team!

Wow, can't believe it was my first time here. I'm told that to the locals this place is a true gem, and now I understand why. Fantastic experience and a definite "must try". Quite an experience and it was like a home cooked meal during the holidays that made you feel all warm and happy inside, and that is if you are fortunate enough to have a phenomenal cook in the family.

The surroundings and food are really traditional and combined with First Nation decoration. It is really a good place if you want to enjoy a delicious meal in the historic dining place. I ordered Mixed Grill, and it has nine generous Yukon bacon. I love it.

The most amazing thing about this place is I can be back to when I was 6 - 50 years ago - going there with my grandfather and the place looks the same, feels the same, and the food is still amazing. Great memories then.and now.

One of our favourite restaurants to visit when we visit North Van. Usually we have breakfast (which is always amazing) but arrived at supper time. I had the turkey dinner (yes- amazing) and lovey had the lasagna which he really enjoyed. We usually get pie to go, as their pies are legendary, but finished off with the fresh strawberry pie … best I’ve ever had. Thank you for the great service as well.

It's an institution and there are a lot of good reasons it has lasted generations and is still packed on a Tuesday morning. The Yukon Breakfast is a legend. This morning, after decades of Tomohawk breakfasts, I had the pleasure of introducing it to to my son. Generations of owners, generations of customers.
