Excellent hair cut! Awesome care in shaving my troublesome beard! Don’t know her name lol but great job

I always go here. But my last experience was bad. Hair cut wasn’t done properly. Trimmed hair were blown into my ears and took 3 days to clean it up as they are tiny particles. Not a good experience

• They have TV’s inside their mirrors, so my kid can watch something while getting a haircut.
• They have ready to play games set up on tablets in the waiting area
• They offer juice, water, pop and coffee.
• The main reason we go back is the professional and friendly service!

She asked me how I wanted my hair done. I showed her a picture of me getting my hair cut before, and I just wanted one that looked exactly like it. But what she accomplished was quite different. It's not even close

It was my first time in this place. Kate is a such talented, and experienced person. She did an amazing job with my haircut! I would definitely recommend this place.

Worst money hungry barbershop. I book an appointment today and was told there was an available spot for the particular barber I always come see. I drove all the way from my house thinking my spot was secured. As I was driving towards the shop they called me to confirm and I was literally just outside parking. They then called me again to tell me I have to wait another 30minutes, because they took another booking! I advice not to go this shop at all, money hungry barbershop who only cares to get their customers in and out of their establishment. Fake customer service who don’t really care for their customers. Waste of my time, money and gas!

Abdul did a wonderful job. He is very patient and treats you with care. He is confident in his job and you cannot ask for a better barber. I eventually found the barber that I was looking for! The receptionists are also very considerate and they treat the customers very well, over the phone or when you are at the shop. When I went over the waiting line online they called me in less than a minute and informed me of the details of my appointment. Great job, Tommy Gun's Original Barbewrshop team!

I had a haircut from Courtenay and it was really good. I had it exactly how I wanted it to be. They provide exceptional customer service as well.

Not trying to be rude here. I’m very much disappointed after my haircut today. It was messed up even after I showed the stylist my previous haircut I got at the same location. The staff’s receiving and hospitality is good though. I highly doubt if I will visit this location again. I’m really sorry to post this review.

Worst experience I ever had with tommy guns, the barber was soo rude from very beginning of the haircut. I don't know what was wrong with her, she had a bad mood or what but that kind of behavior is not good. I told her i wanted this and I'm trying this for the very first time, she did that but afterwards it didn't suit me, so i told her that it is not looking good on me can we please do something about it to which she replied "i don't know, people first ask for something they don't know about it and think we don't know how to do it. " in a rude way. She even didn't ask did you like your hair cut at last, didn't ask is there anything else i can do, didn't brush the excess hairs from my face, but did i said anything about it- no. And the biggest thing happen After i left the salon, the salon called me and said you have to give mutual respect to your barber, quoting " she had experience of +20 years, she know how to do her job". I never said she didn't know how to do her job, the thing is you have to have a understanding between your customer and yourself; everything they said can't be rude and and everything you do can't be right.
Moreover, i told her can you please turn off that TV inside your mirror, to which she didn't even bothered to reply. I thought she didn't heard me first time, so i asked again - She said we don't do that. I know they can do it, but by seeing her rude and aggressive behavior i thought to let it be.

Barbers are good but won’t be returning due to rude service from reception. I take responsibility for being late for my haircut but why did the receptionist/barber give my appointment away after I said I’d be there in 2 minutes and receptionist even said ok. I understand I was late but why did receptionist say ok and then give my appointment away and didn't even call to advise. Instead she told me in a condescending way that she gave my appointment away so now its my turn to wait. I guess it’s ok to make your clients wait but when they’re a bit late u just give their appointment away. I needed a reason to change places so thanks anyways. The receptionist acts as if they are the only haircut lace around haha.

By far the best barber shop I have ever been to in my life incredible customer service and kind barbers that are extremely skilled and friendly 1000% recommend also to the owners of the establishment thank you for the incredible experience and family friendly service

Marie did such a great job on my sons hair cut today. Whenever I go to barber shops I show a picture on how I’d like my sons hair and it never comes out that way… today I was blown away by Marie and how it came out even better than the picture I showed her. My little one really enjoyed his hair cut.thank you Marie and can’t wait to come to you next time.

Honestly, all the staff seemed incredibly friendly from what I saw. Especially the lady at the front desk (sorry I didn't catch your name), with the fiery hair. She was really welcoming!

Couldn't get in with my regular hair dresser so did a walk in (bang trim and undercut touch up) where Rionna (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) booked me in with Christine. Both were very cool, friendly, and great at their jobs. Christine was very fast but didn't skimp on quality. And what a bonus that you can watch wrestling in the mirrors

One of the best Salons I've been to worth every Dollar I spent there the barbers are excellent the place is excellent the treatment is excellent overall really great would come for my haircut again.

I have long hair, and wendy cut my hair (trimmed it) After two years that I finally got a haircut, it has been the greatest experience! WENDY u were awesome

I had a haircut here awhile back and got the filipina auntie as my barber (forgot her name). I can only describe the haircut as a haircut an auntie would give you. It was okay at best. I had to fix it up a bit when I got home with my limited knowledge of hair styling. I think $33 is a bit high for a haircut when it felt more like getting a haircut at Great Clips (is the franchise even still around?). I think you get a better value at Mancave. Mancave is cheaper but the barbers are excellent.

Absolutely not coming back. I trust Tommy gun coz it's international company, I spent last five years with Tommy in Australia, they never let me down. But this one at square station, i highly doubt their staff is trained before they start cutting people's hair.

Joyce has been my barber with Tommy Gun's since I moved here in BC 4 years ago. She has ALWAYS been very good at the art she does. Now, Christy has done my haircut last night. I just learned that Christy was one Joyce's students, so one can imagine how passionate she did my haircut. She did not disappoint. I am very satisfied with my experience and I am very much looking forward in getting my hair done again here with Christy. The atmosphere here was very friendly and very helpful. Their location is situated perfectly between eateries so it is very convenient for one's liking. I recommend this place for the whole family and group of friends. Thank you

Fantastic service! They were busy but were still able to accommodate me very quickly without an appointment. Very clean, trendy location while still being affordable. The barber, Amy T, was very professional and did not rush, but also didn't make me fall asleep by taking too long. She gave me the best haircut I've had in the past 10 years! I'll definitely be going back there for all my haircuts from now on.

Great quality haircut ‍️! Very professional and they do an amazing job! Also shampoo and massage ‍️ your hair/head which is incredibly relaxing. You get a free beverage included as well. Also have TVs in the mirrors? So you can watch your favourite sports or shows while getting your haircut!

Kristy is amazing. I have been coming here for 4 years now. The barbers change often but I've had a few great ones in my time there. My recent visit was with Kristy and she was awesome.

First time going here and at first I was uncomfortable with the format ie first come first served but they have a unique way of taking care of you. Basically call or go online and pick a stylist and time and they get back to you with a window of availability. So no appointments which can make planning around a cut tricky but it seems to work and they try their best to accommodate you. I suspect busy times would be frustrating but I lucked out. Staff on the phone and in store are helpful and friendly. Got my hair done by Jocelyn and she’s a queen of fades, definitely attention to detail.

I was very happy with my stylist, Christy, she was very polite and did an excellent job. I will definitely recommend her to my friends.

I got a haircut yesterday from Abdul in Tommy Gun's and as a person who goes there with his son frequently, I also enjoyed my shave. The price is higher than other places but the experience is also better too. So paying a few bucks more is definitely worth it for people who are thinking about it:)

The staff are knowledgeable and up-to-date with current styles! And they are great at making conversation. Every time I go there, I always have a great time talking during the whole experience.

If you have a little extra money, I highly, highly recommend it!

Costumer service in the front desk is so bad i call them to book a haircut and they told me no need for reservation and i just need to walk in because there is no waiting list. 20 minutes after, i arrive at the shop and they told me there is a lot of people on the waiting list and i need to book the haircut 2hours before i come to the shop

I went in today for a traditional shampoo and cut and was given exactly what I asked for, politely (definitely not pushy or "sales-y") offered optional services. The barber (Tamara i think was her name) offered to leave the TV on to watch or not, I chose not, and engaged in polite chat while she worked. At payment time I was also needing shave cream and she showed me their choices including the very well priced reduced/sale price offerings. I come here regularly and get great service every time. Highly recommend.

After my disappointment of their "booking" system 2 years ago, I decided to go back and gave them a second chance. They did not disappoint!
Things went very straight forward after I booked my appointment through their website (this wasn't available then) and was happy with my haircut.
Nothing has changed with the front-desk people- they are always very lovely.

I don’t usually bother leaving reviews, so if I do it’s because my experience was really good or really bad. With tommy gun my experience has always be outstanding. They have nice staff, they give good haircuts and going there always feels like I’m going to a spa. Not sure how good the price is though, I’ve never checked the receipt because either way it’s worth it. The free drink at the end is a good cherry on top too

This is the second time I've had my haircut at this location since I've moved to the area. Both times I received professional, top-notch service at a very affordable price. Haircut looks and feels great and I will continue to use their services. If you're in the area, I highly recommend them.

You can allow people to make appointments one or two days in advance, at the very least. You can also update the app, which doesn't work as dependably as it should. Other than that, your staff are very professional and friendly.

I have been today at this location. Barber Jocelyn made me a nice haircut. I would suggest this place for quality and price of the services they provide. I am definitely coming back soon.

Jocelyn initially lined up my beard for the first time. I was very impressed with her attention to detail as well as her kindness and professionalism. I wanted to step up my grooming game and decided to revisit her for a proper haircut. Long story short, she turned me into the young man that always lived inside of me. I went from feeling like someone in his mid 40’s having a mid-life crisis to the young ambitious/audacious 23-year old that I am today. I would recommend Tommy Gun’s to any gentleman out there who is looking to get to that next level in terms of his grooming. I have to admit, I'm impressed by this box store-esque chain-brand Barber shop. They are organised, I like the way they reserve, (you call or reserve the day of, and then get a time) which allows me to decide in the morning if I want a cut that afternoon. My Barber (Rene) was really good and totally nailed my mullet, and you get a drink at the end.

They say they don't make appointments that you just have to call 1 or 2 hours before you go but they never tell you that you just have 5 min to show up or you lose you turn

I have gotten haircut from 4 different barbers at this Tommy gun’s location and always had a great experience. Every one of them seemed talented, polite, and customer focused.

I must must give a special shout out to Peter. I have never had a barber put so much effort into his work from cut to stilling. Thank you so much for making my haircut an exciting event I look forward to in my calendar!

Sam did an absolutely fab job. After moving, was finding it difficult to find a good salon. Looks like my search is over. Thanks again guys, all of you were great.

Yet to have a bad experience here. Price is slightly high for a regular cut but every stylist I've had here did a great job. Worth every penny.

I just recently started getting my haircuts here since I purchase many of my grooming products from Tommy Gun's. All I have to say is, Tommy Gun's is a perfect example of a one stop shop that will provide you with quality products, great customer service, and the perfect haircut. If you decide to go in, I definitely recommend Brady, he's very polite and most definitely knows how to work the clippers and sheers. I give this location a 10/10.

Decent, but uneven. Don't know what else to say. My sideburns were crooked and I asked for a straight razor shave and they said it was an extra 37$ on top of the cut. I am sure that is not the case

I've had my hair cut with Tommy Gun's since I was able to choose for myself, and I've never been let down even once, all across Canada.
From the time you enter until after you leave you are treated like royalty. Their wait times are reasonable, and these days they're usually low, but even when it's long they have a call service, email service, and text service as options to let you know your appointment is coming up. You get a free cut after every 10th, and besides that they have some excellent partnerships for all of their products.
At this specific location, the stylists don't shy away from conversation, but they let you lead it. They make strong and confident choices for when you put things in their hands, and if you know what you want they help whole-heartedly for you to have your look.
They typically only work with people with Short to Medium hair, though there are of course exceptions.
All in all, I wouldn't trust my hair with any other barber shop in the city. Not because they're bad, but because I know I'll always be satisfied at Tommy Gun's.

High end barber (i paid 60$) and honestly it was very very very mediocre. There was nothing wrong with it but the straight edge parts weren't perfected. I wouldn't come again unfortunately

Erica has been my go to for the pass year and bit she always ceases to amaze me. I've been through a few barbers at the shop and shes probably the best barber I've had.

Call for timeline if you are on the clock. But normally 20-30mn wait which is perfect to check your social life with the complimentary pop.
I got Paul and he is the guy! At first I was not sure cause he was more focusing on the girls going through the pathway. Half way in the haircut I was even less sure cause I looked so British! At the end I am telling you. I look slick!

The receptionist was very friendly. Erica did an amazing job on my hair. I love it! My hair was extremely damaged from bleach. She gave me recommendations on what to add to my conditioner and I had purchased the leave in conditioner that she recommended for my hair. My hair feels new again. Thank you guys so much!

No reservations but they are quick to get to you anyway, staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. A high quality service with a resonable price. The atmosphere is extremely inviting and very modern while giving a hint of call back to classic barber shops.

Extremely talented staff, would highly recommend a straight razor shave. As someone with a very complicated facial hair grain I didnt even need to tell the staff, he already knew what to do. Not a single cut. Although the price is quite high it is understandable when you consider they use roughly 10 products and the experience of staff.

Will be going back again.
