Very efficient service. Elygene is the best hairdresser around: always friendly, welcoming, attention to detail, super end product, heavenly head massage.

Just had my second haircut with Agnes.which means two perfect haircuts in a row! Agnes is incredible, she understands immediately what I want, and checks with me every step of the way. Honestly, the staff, the stylists, and everyone else here are very concerned with giving you the best experience possible. The staff there are friendly and efficient! My 6 year old loves going there and leaves looking sharp Everytime! I appreciate their online check in system so you aren’t waiting for an hour when you get there but it would be nice to just set an appointment date and time in advance. There’s even tablets in the entrance for siblings to play on while you wait for the cut to be completed.

I went there for a straight razor shave for my head. I loved the whole process, hot towel, scalp massage. Great barber, she did a fantastic job. 10/10, fully recommend to everyone. Check it out, you won't regret it.

Not great, very rushed, and kinda butchered my hair this morning.kind of a humbling reminder why I will only request Kelly. Pretty mad at myself right now for letting this happen.

It was my first time ever going to a Tommy Guns yesterday, the experience was amazing. From the second I decided to try Tommy Guns all the way to when I walked out the door. The check in System on the app and the phone call alerting me they were almost ready for me made the normally painstaking waiting process very smooth. My hair dresser (Kailey) was able to produce exactly what I wanted even with my mediocre instructions. Great experience 10/10.

Unfortunately, this place have changed. They’ve hired a new staff.
I took my son to a male master before and he always gave him an immaculate haircut.
Now, there are only ladies and neither of them have an adequate experience.
The last two hair cuts were disaster… I thought after the first screw up, maybe we got unlucky so we pick someone else. However, it looked just as bad, they put the product on your hair to make it look OK, but after the first wash you can clearly see the haircut is uneven, chunks of hair of different length.
Disappointing, I wanted to see what other customers are saying and I’m glad that I did because we aren’t the only ones.

Asked for a fade still don't see it on my head, expensive!

Man. By the time she felt proud of herself, I had to tell her to cut it all off. The cut was so bad I had to demand she SHAVE MY HEAD. This place use to be good. But recently it’s become apparent that unless you’re an 8 year old… you’d be embarrassed if your haircut. If you’re over the age of 16… please. Go to a real barber.

Guys, if you are going to charge premium price for a hair cut, you need to employ highly skilled people too. The person who gave me a hair cut was clearly a beginner who did not have a formal hair dressing education whatsoever. I went to other TG locations where the hairstylists were red seals and I noticed the difference. Not only the result was much better, but the confidence of the hairstylist was obvious too. You see it on how the person touches your head, how the person is precise with tool selection, the time the person spends to achieve the result you want. Nothing wrong with learning at the job, but not at a TG barbershop. They can do that in any no-name run-of-the-mill place that charges half of what you charge. You guys have a name to keep and need to require above average innate talent and/or formal education and experience. Also the person at the front desk needs to be trained to at least pretend to be friendly. You know, smile, do small talk, offer a refreshment, make you feel welcomed. She was cold like a stone. I would be better served interacting with a McDonald-style self-service panel than with that front desk person.

The haircut was more like an experience than a regular haircut - the customer service was excellent, and the staff was both friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the idea of the TV in the mirror!

Cancelled my appointment after i drove 20 minutes to get there.i was late by 5-6 minutes. Could have called ahead.

Messed up my beard trimmed everywhere but my moustache didn’t notice until I got home hair cut wasn’t that great either and was charged 60$ will not come back

They always take there time when they cut your hair and give you the utmost best treatment possible.

New owners new staff now its no better then great clips if you know what I mean. I miss the friendly cute girls with professional skills. They've messed up my haircut and my buddies I honestly believe it's a 10-15$ haircut I've given them a try at three locations and been very disappointed

If you charge 31 bucks for a hair cut. Dont send a trainee to cut my hair, messed it up and someone had to come and save it. Im Brian and you already knew you will get 1 bad review for that.

Belinda the hairdresser was excellent. However, the front staff are very rude and unprofessional especially Vicky the manager. I have been taking my son to this location For over 3 yrs and I will no longer be going to this location. I would give the service of the front staff zero stars.

Amazing experience and impeccable service with Tommy Gun. The little extras like shampoo and hair message is great, although the basic hair cut service was perfect too.

I have regularly gotten my haircuts at Tommy Gun's and been a fan of the brand. This particular outlet, I found, doesn't have the front desk staff as good as the other outlets but I've never bothered since the barbers here are amazing.

Today however, they drew the last straw when I showed up to my appointment that I had taken online and I was told they can't see my appointment so the wait is 40 minutes. I asked them to check again since I did take an appointment but was told to wait 40 minutes. I again very politely asked who could help me out and was told 'I have nothing to do with it. It is the app's fault. Next appointment is 40 mins. ' in a slightly rude tone. I thanked the front desk associate and left.

Never going back. Had driven 20 minutes only to have to drive back.

My husband and I decided to try out the south surrey location as our original barber across the street (whiterock barbers) was busy. I would give this location 0 stars if possibe. I have a 2 year old son who wasn't happy about getting a haircut so the hair dresser simply refused to cut his hair. He was very rude. I've never had this issue with any other barber. They are normally accommodating when it comes to children. I am so disappointed in Tommy Guns attitude towards children.

Elygine did my haircut and shampoo, was amazing and definitely coming back to get my haircut done from her next time.

I've been coming here for 3 years always book on the website. Today I did the same when I showed up 5 mins before my appt the receptionist says she can't see my booking, then she says the app hasn't been working but I didn't use app? All she could say is sorry and have a good day after I drove 20 mins. Maybe hire adults who have a a sense of people's time.

I have been here a handful of times. $35 for a haircut, short massage and tip included is reasonable for me. They usually do a great job and I usually leave feeling quite confident. I have only had one bad haircut here before and when I expressed that I wasn't happy with it, they made sure to make things right. Make sure you see the same person if possible because having a different person each time means getting a different style each time. I will go back as long as I live in the area. I just wish you could book by appointment and by the person cutting your hair.

PS - I'm telling you, Tommy Gun's, the cost of managing appointments will not exceed the extra revenue from having more clients come in. More people will come in because they are confident that their time is valued and their spot is secure when they arrive.

Tommy Gun's is fantastic. You get a wash, head massage, cut all for a great price. They really take care of you. The staff is friendly and all smiles.

Book a appointment and have to wait a extra almost 45 minutes after the time I booked. I understand you can’t expect it exactly at the time but my god is that a bit much.
Edit: have been contacted offered a free service and apology as they are not normally like that with time. Thank you so much for making it right. See you guys soon.

I take my Son here for his haircuts on a regular basis. Grandview Heights location. Always friendly. I use the points card they gave me and it's now full, so his next service is free. Yep free! He always likes his haircut. They are skilled and always cut it exactly how he wants it because being 16, he likes to change his style often. Love his latest look. It's so current and on point.

Just got the best haircut I've had in years. Kelly was extremely precise and I appreciated the advise on different hair products.

The staff at 160th South Surrey is great especially Jenna R. She's fantastic. The environment is clean and inviting and they have a great display of products. I'd give Tommy's a 5 star rating but I just find their pricing a bit expensive. I'll still continue to go because I get a great cut and oh! Almost forgot, the shampoo and scalp massage is always amazing.

The staff are all very friendly, atmosphere is great, good haircuts, really nice scalp massage, very nice having complimentary drinks.

In general I'm okay with the walk-in model, only had one occasion where it was an issue but most of the time it's not.

Update: had a bad cut where some extra cutting and trimming I didn't ask for was done. TG is on probation.

Update 2: been back multiple times and it's more consistent so I'm happy to continue getting cuts here. It's a popular place so the wait times can be long, therefore highly recommend using the mobile app instead of just showing up.

Very expensive for what its worth.atmosphere was good but they do not know how to take a reservation. We booked an appontment for 2: 30 and when we arived they told us that our reservation STARTED at 2: 30 and were told to wait for an hour.this was upseting but other than this the hair cuts were decent.

Amazing service and quality haircut for the price. Made me feel welcome offered me a free beverage before and after my haircut. Super stylish facility. Very modern and classic at the same time. I will be returning on the regular.

I've had a great experience everytime I have visited this location. The service is always friendly and professional. Even though I've had a different stylist each time, the haircut I have received has always been exactly what I have asked for. In fact, there have been a few times where the stylist has given their own recommendations. They are not being pushy about it but rather just offering suggestions that they feel would compliment what I'm already asking for. And so far I have not been disappointed.

These are a few highlighted points I've noted from my last few visits:
•I am always offered a beverage before and after my service.
•The decor and atmosphere is very modern and clean but also very familiar and inviting at the same time.
•The shampoo and head massage is a nice blend of being both soft and soothing but also forceful and tension-relieving ; a perfect way to end a tough day.
•The tv monitors are not as audacious as other barber shops I've been too and are discreetly hidden within the mirrors to add to the contemporary look.

As I've said this is a great location that I'm confident will continue to have my business.

Actually I didn't try them for a cut - I asked about a product I use one other time and they didn't carry it. I just walked on and then sent a review about someone else and was too quick to notice that I sent one to them before I knew it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt 5 Star.but I will have to try them and give them my honest review. I'm not trendy.more classic.not many around that know how to do that any more.so stay tuned until I give them first shot at it!

I have been going to Mimi for 2-3 years. I would not change and highly recommend. Always makes you feel welcome, does an awesome job on haircuts and beard trims, and you always get complimentary drinks. A bit pricey but way worth it in my opinion. The products they sell are also all top quality.

Remember to check in online at busy times or you may need to wait. But the waiting is part of appeal. Free beverages, comfy couches, HD sports and tablets with games for the kids.

Bad experience. I was told 20 minute wait by the receptionist and 30 minutes later the wait had increased to 35 minutes. I left without receiving a haircut. Please learn to manage customer expectations better.

My son and I come in to get our haircuts twice a month. Agnes does an amazing job on my hair and I make sure to keep coming back to her.

Just had to write a review to say how excellent my hair cut was, yet again, this time from Monica and have had several cuts in the past from Mimi and Katie. They are always on point and are consistent every-time! I would highly recommend anyone of them. On the other hand - I do have to say that over the last few hair cuts, with the new management/owners in the shop, the few times I have been in there, it's been a little awkward. No offense guys but as a male looking to get a cut, I've always chosen Tommy's for the great atmosphere and the hot woman barbers! Yeeoowww haha - I am sure other male customers feel the same. Keep up the great work ladies! And management or owners or whatever your role is - let these beautiful women do what they do best! As a customer I would recommend you putting one of the attractive females upfront - not the owner or male manager. Just sayn.

Long story short. The stylist took 4 inches away from the 1.5 inches I asked since she could not make my hair even. I stopped her 3 times including before she even started the top to ensure it would be consistent and even and to correct uneven hair blend. Was disappointed, since my last cut here was good.

I've come into this location a few times. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Would recommend

This is specific to this location. Other locations have been good but this one. They do not know how to cut curly or wavy hair. Personally will not go again. The front desk did not know what they where doing. Fiddled around and could not get the system to work. The hair dresser kept trying to use thinning shears every time I repeatedly said NO. Very very pushy. I have thick wavey hair that will stay however it drys so instead of drying it correctly it was done with a round brush and "poofed"until they HAD to use product to get it down. I also have dry scalp so the PRODUCT irritated my scalp resulting having to shampoo my head twice and apply medicated serum once home because it caused it to be red and inflamed. Ended up telling her it was fine and to leave it. I could tell at this point she had no idea what she was doing and a 30min hair cut turned into an hour. I needed to go and had no time to fight with them. If you do not know how to cut a type of hair. DO NOT TOUCH IT. I do not advise this place. Maybe if you have very basic and simple pin strait hair but otherwise it is a no for me.
