Tongdak Korean Fried Chicken

It's absolutely delicious! It's delicious enough for the kids to eat. And the boss looks so nice. I will visit often.

Amazing food, slow service, no atmosphere (food court). Order well in advance and pick-up (the food is well worth it).

The food was excellent how ever the dumplings in the wonton were cold and not ready. The soup could be served wormer. All to all great food very good VFM I will be back

Ordered the Go-Ma chicken crispy chicken balls and i gotta say:) perfect amount of sweet combined with spicy and the fries remind me of being in the comfort of my own home. Only waited a few minutes for my serving, though it is in a small strip mall / food court, i would definitely come back another time to try what else is on the menu. You have my 5 gold stars all the way!

Tried to buy a singular Korean corn dog and only had a 100$ bill, came to 8$ for the corn dog, they said they would take the bill and gave me back a twoonie had to argue with them for 5 minutes that I should definitely be getting more then a twoonie back and they said I gave them a 10$ bill as I still saw my 100$ bill in their hand… they refused to give me my cash back after the corn dog so I asked for my bill back and they kicked me out. So don’t bring cash (or at least big bills) if you’re going to go here. ️ still amazing food but was not good service.

I moved to Kamloops 4 years ago, had my first Tongdak chicken 3.5 years ago, had my second Tongdak chicken 3.5 years ago minus one day, and had my third Tongdak chicken 3.5 years ago minus two days. Thats right Korean fried chicken 3 days straight. The owners are incredibly friendly, feels great to support them. The Gan-Jang and Go-Ma are my faves!

Tongdak has been our favourite takeout spot since the beginning of the pandemic. Having now tried the other two Korean fried chicken restaurants in Kamloops, we can confirm that Tongdak is still hands down our favourite. The chicken pieces are larger than their competitors, better seasoned, and have the perfect amount of crispiness.

The chicken was delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Will definitely be going back to Tong Dak when we are in Kamloops next time. Just wish this was closer to home!

Love the garlic soy chicken, amazing and hot and crispy. Love the staff as well, and their online ordering app and pick up works great. 10/10, and now they have another location!

110% THE BEST CHICKEN IN TOWN! This hidden gem has impressed me. I ordered the chicken salad and almost fell off my chair when I tasted the chicken! Crispy juicy fresh and absolutely divine! They definitely have a loyal customer for life with me. I will be bragging to all my friends and family about Tongdak. The quality is top notch perfection. The portions are generous and extremely fresh! The staff are happy and very kind.

TongDak has amazing chicken. So crispy and so much variety. Staff are always super friendly and we love supporting a local business. Prices are super fair and you do get a decent amount of food, even the quarter size is the perfect meal. 100% best chicken place in town.

I visit Kamloops almost every summer with my bf, and I'm so happy to find this restaurant this year.
We had a full size Yang-nyeum chicken, it was very juicy inside, crispy outside, and the sauce was amazingly well balanced between spiciness and sweetness. We were happily full and satisfied after hard hiking.
So regretful that we couldn't take any pictures of this chicken since we couldn't even wait a second to eat once the package was opened. Great fries and twisted donuts as well!
The owners were super friendly and nice, too. This is our new go to place in Kamloops!

Loved it! Eat there regularly.we have had everything on the menu and everything is super good.our last visit included curry cheese and the corn dog.so good.the cheese pull on the corndog was Instagram worthy!

Got the classic chicken full order, me and my partner thought it was yummy. Lots of food for $32. Fries included was just a small, so get a side order too if youre wanting a bunch of fries. Friendly staff:) Get the soy/garlic sauce for dipping for $1 too!

I’ve been craving for authentic Korean fried chicken for the entire time I’m in Kamloops, so when I found out Tongdak was opened, I was overjoyed. And when I came here to eat for the first time, I was not disappointed at all! The chicken is so so good, the sauce is amazing, just like the chicken I used to have in Korea. And their doughnuts are so dang mind-blowing! Everything is so good, I’m addicted to their doughnuts now

After traveling to South Korea I developed a craving for Korean fried chicken, but couldnt quite find anywhere that resembled it, or was able to on my own. Then Tongdak came into my life.

This place is the real deal! Their chicken is delicious and reminds me of the many nights of 치맥 with friends until the early mornings.

The stickers on the box are nice:)

Best fried chicken in town. Quick service, high quality ingredients, friendly staff and great taste. Highly recommend the angry fried chicken and the creamy onion chicken. And the doughnuts are amazing, could eat a 100.

Ordered-in the original meal and a order of the cheddar dusted chicken this last week for the family and we all enjoyed it so much. I had been craving it since and today my husband and I stopped by restaurant. Very friendly service, and the food again was delicious! Crispy, tender, flavourful chicken I can’t get enough of. I won’t settle for any other fried chicken! Great job TongDak!

Was in a hurry this evening and decided to order in for the family and stumbled upon this place on skip. OMG it I'd dam amazing the chicken is cooked perfect and spices are phenomenal. I have never experienced something so delicious in my life. Ordered an order of original and angry at first o though oh that's a little expensive until it got here and I tasted it.worth every penny I will be back for many more fried chickens in the future.
