Top 10 Produce

Great selection of produce and ethnic foods but prices aren't as good as other options in the area equally accessible by bus or car.

For example:
Top Ten Produce sells russet potatoes for 1.99/lb, navel oranges for 2.99/lb and a 300g packet of green beans for 4.99.
Persia Foods sells the same potatoes for 0.99/lb (sometimes 0.69/lb), navel oranges for 1.99/lb and the same 300g package of green beans is 2.99.
Even at a pricier store like Parthenon you can buy russets at 1.19/lb.

These are just some prices I have with my recent receipts but from walking through the store, I could save 30% off a basic shopping list if I shopped for the same items at Persia Foods and about 10% at City Avenue Market.

Prices are more expensive than usual, price tags weren't pointed to the correct products, some products didn't even have price tags, run down.would not recommend going here

You just will not find a friendlier or more knowledgeable people AND they play excellent music. My favourite produce store that has wayyyyy more than produce! Its a grocery store with many interesting things. You can find lots of specialty items.

Such a great shop to have in the community. They make incredibly impressive use of the small shop space and have almost everything you could imagine. Catchy music is always playing, the staff is friendly and personable, the produce is true to its name and great, and best of all, there's Mickey!

Amazing produce, super friendly staff, great prices. They stock a ton of regular grocery and specialty items in here, too.this place can operate as a one-stop shop for most of my grocery needs. Bonus: they play really awesome music in here and parking is always easy. Highly recommend!

While conveniently located, just off of ubc campus, this grocery store has neither the price reduction, the specialty stock, nor the quality of produce to draw me away from the Save on Foods a short bus ride onto campus for my regular shopping trips. There is a cat here that is generally friendly.

Its a great place to shop for oriental ingredients that you can't find at save-on foods. It is a little confusing as the prices of items are really hard to find, but I got a ton of stuff I have been looking for and it was decently cheap.

It would also be nice if the reciept would show the individual items I bought so I can know how much I spent on each item, because I spent $20 on something and I have no idea what it was.

This is a great local grocery store- they have everything, even things the big chain grocery stores don’t have. Very friendly staff, and funky decor and music. Super convenient if you live in Point Grey and don’t want to go all the way to Wesbrook or Kitsilano.

I have been going to Top 10 Produce as a regular for most of my groceries for almost five years. The produce is always fresh and well priced (they sell the BEST pomegranates in the city during the wintertime), plus I feel like I can find almost all my other dried/frozen goods and groceries, they’re selection is amazing if you really scan the shelves.

The staff are very kind, and extremely helpful and the decor/music/vibes are amazing and welcoming. When I move, I will make trips across the city to visit this grocery store. Cannot recommend it enough!

Great grocery with good prices, fresh veggies, and decent prices. They tend to have a great selection of canned Italian foods and sauces. They also have a small selection of good rustic bread. I'm pretty much a regular.

Products and produce are very overpriced - e.g. Chosen Avocado Oil is 50% more than the health food shop, and 40% more than supermarket. Most products have no label and no expiry day. A lot of food are on floor level. Wipe down all your shopping with disinfectant before putting them away. Price tags are not properly placed to the relevant products/item. So check your bill before you get home. First time shopping there - big mistake!

Best grocery store in the Dunbar area. They play good tunes and have a discounted overripe produce box in the back.

Very fresh, high quality produce plus a good range of other groceries. Free neighborhood delivery. Great hours and they stay open 365 days a year!

Always fresh and lots of choice. You pay a bit more but the staff are always helpful. Cool music too!

Literally paid 13.99$ for a batch of strawberries. Place is ridiculously overpriced. Save your money and time. Bad customer service as well.

Wide array of fresh, local (Fraser Valley) produce and dairy products, as well as imported fruits and vegies. Good selection of organic. Well-stocked w staples like rice, soup, pasta, sauces, spices, condiments, along with many exotic foreign food delights. Plenty of snack foods and sugary treats. Excellent staff always able to answer questions, make custom orders, and provide bulk sales. Open 8am to 8pm every single day.

Top Ten is THE spot on the west side for fresh fruits, veggies, dairy, etc. It's a small shop but packed within is nothing you don't need and pretty much everything you do need. The service is great, and the music is even better; my favourite grocery store in the city.

Fantastic little store with great selection of rotating produce. For some reason the music here is always great! The fruits and vegetables are quite affordably priced. Some of the other items, typically various non-perishables or dairy products, can be a little pricey in comparison to grocery stores further away. Never had a bad experience here though, and I'll keep coming back.

Great turnover means fresh produce.plus a not bad selection of organics for a smallish store and some of their brands are hard to find anywhere else. The background music is very cool, like going to a club and grocery store at the same time. Friendly, helpful staff who work hard to keep it all in the flow for their customers.

It’s ok. I like this place cause they sell lots of produce. And there is going to be a lot more people there now cause kins in now gone. Also, Safeway up there is also gone. Good place to go if you need veggies and you live in West Point grey. They also have very good service. And they are one of the stores that are still not doing the line ups outside yet I do not think but I am not sure because I have not been in a little while.

One of the most fundamental places in Vancouver for our family. It nourishes us and is run by great people.

Don’t get me started on top ten. This place is robbing me and my grandma blind. The food is overpriced and they somehow only have the most fancy expensive version of everything. Have a hard time trusting the meat here too. Also they got mice! I bought a bag of popcorn and took it to an event, friends found it.so embarrassing.thank god some of them have low standards and kept eating it.

Vi, Peter and Matthew are all awesome! They help you with whatever you need in their store if you can't find it, but almost all the time they have what you need! A great produce store!

Quick in and out place with a great selection of fresh produce. Clerks have always been friendly and store is kept clean.

The music is one of the reasons we shop here. Specialty selections and the vegetables and fruit and the owners and staff make it a very nice experience.

I’ve been shopping at Top 10 Produce for years, even with a Safeway across the street (now permanently closed). It’s a throw-back to old-school green grocers with a focus on fresh produce constantly being rotated, and with an ample offering of high quality dry goods and refrigerated goods. Look in back for a fantastic selection of Asian offerings in the freezer section - think dim sum. Everything in the store is very reasonably priced and the staff are all friendly, conscientious and polite. There are lots of local shoppers who demonstrate their loyalty with their wallets. UBC students are also always found shopping at Top 10. One of my favourite aspects of the Top 10 experience are the classic rockin’ tunes playing in then store - no muzak to be heard on their air waves. If you are in Point Grey and looking for a place to shop, look no further than Top 10 Produce.
