Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had exactly what I needed, helped me find hard to find toys (no squeekers) and had a few good laughs with staff. Wonderful

Great selection of products. Dog wash stations, but unfortunately, no nail trimming or grooming.

The overall staff are super duper nice, one lady in particular wasn’t. She wasn’t personable, extremely condescending, and treated me like I had no idea what animal I was getting or what I was doing. Wouldn’t even let me get a word in. To say I was treated unfairly was an understatement. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, have the day you deserve.

Very very clean atmosphere with ample products for your pet (s). We've never seen so much selection in a pet store before! We wanted to try out different types of dog food, so we got the small sample packages as they were decently priced. At the counter, she ended up giving them to us for free cause we've never tried them before. What a wonderful gesture!

If you have reptiles this is the best pet store in town, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and they treat their animals very well.

Went to grab dog food, my usual place didn't have any. Total Pet was called, had the bag I needed at the counter waiting. Might just switch my "usual place"

There's no other pet store that cares as much about their animals, their products about the knowledge they share. Beyond thankful for this store and all they do.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had the worst customer service from this location I have had in a long time! One Staff member was condescending and didn’t want to actually help me and actually walked way from me to get some one else to help me as my request was too much for her.super unprofessional and as some one who has spent over a decade in customer service I was appalled. Won’t be back to this location unless completely necessary……

Never had a bad experience, they have the healthiest aquarium plants I’ve seen out of the other pets shops, and the workers who always helped me were nice, and most of the fish look good compared to the other shops, just not the bettas- would love to see a better betta centre.

They do not supply reliable products. Went to set up my aquarium set a little late and found both the light and heater to be faulty. I was unable to go to the store inside the 30 day limit (caught an illness that doesn't allow you to leave the house). Despite just looking to exchange for functioning parts they were unable or unwilling to accommodate. Not a lot of business but it'll definitely be elsewhere.

I shop here alot for my snake food. Have experienced good service and informative information when asking questions.

Would rate a zero if I could. Was treated horrible by staff. I tried to address the issue and was given the run around. Will not be shopping here every again. Bosley is owned by same company and carry the same brands. They will get my business from now on.

May 2021: This store sells varieties of fish and aquatic plants that you can't get anywhere else in PG! The aquatic plants are by far the healthiest I've ever seen and purchased. And, for all you fish lovers, their betta tanks are humane and filtered <3 Kudos to the owners/managers of this store, I strongly recommend it!

I don't like this store. I Staff is extremely unhelpful. They don't ask if you need help, can't answer questions and have very little selection of gravy infused catfoods. When I asked about the gravy selections, I got a grunt for a response.

Great selection! Went in last weekend to get our daschund a new collar and leash. They had little snow suits so we might have to get one if they have weiner dog sizes for this artic air!

Customer service is meh, they are doing renovations so very clean hopefully updating fish tanks. Good prices

Helpful staff. The ones I have dealt with all have their own pets, so seem well suited to the job. Good covid protocols.

It has been set up well. All products are able to be found easily.
There is a full station inside the store at the back that is behind a gate, where you can bring your dog into be washed by you.
They provide a wide selection of shampoos, conditioners and also blow dryers and towels. Well done!

Place was okay, employee was a little snarky but who isn't during a pandemic. Overall nice shop.

Friendly staff but didn't carry what I was looking for not the place to go if you want a fish tank I've a hundred gallons or a 4 foot light fixture for an aquarium

Been dealing with Total Pet for at least 11 or 12 years now, 11of which I rescued Lizards (23 diff species at once). Still see them for my pet food. The store has really changed with new ownership over the past few years.staff are great, however the entire atmosphere just isn't the same. I'll still consider it my go to Pet store.

Friendly staff always stocked I just wish all pet stores carried better and more variety of collars for bigger dogs

I went to go get common goldfish and when I asked for them the lady took me into this dirty room. I wanted 4 and when she asked me what I was using them for I told her that I was keeping them as pets she asked me how big my tank was and I told her and she said that I could only get one as my tank was to small. I have the same tank and have 4 goldfish living perfectly fine in it and I made sure that I could keep 4 fish before I bought them. She proceeded to tell me that “fish have lives to” and pretty much told me that I was killing my fish. She was very snotty. Very bad service. I don’t recommend shopping here. It’s also very dirty and disorganized: (The fish didn’t even last 24 hours they died.

My first visit was fantastic! Derian was very attentive to my needs and sent Brit to help me get my dog Mylo the attention that he desperately needed. I was so impressed with Brit that I tried to tip her $20 and she refused saying, "we are here to help" that a tip was not needed.

Total Pet is a great pet store. It is well organized with a decent selection of fish and reptiles. The service is friendly and the store has a cozier feel than larger pet stores.

This place now has now has an area to bath your dog for just $10! That includes the shampoos and treats for your puppy. The unit to dry your dog is great. They also sell large frozen rats for us with pet snakes.

Total pet has an amazing staff; they are always very friendly and help you in any way that they can. I came in with my 6 week old puppy, and was carrying her around while shopping, because she was not fully vaccinated yet (too young). An employee came up and offered to hold her while I shopped. After helping me find what I needed, the kind gentleman rung me up very quickly at the till, and complimented how well behaved my puppy was. Great customer service!

The renovations look amazing! Love everybody there, they are all very knowledgable, and know how to help!
