The second best part of the experience was buying a beautiful African shirt for a friend’s wedding.
The best part was meeting Omar.
I picked the shirt after about 3 minutes but chose to stay for 30 minutes just to talk with Omar.
He gave me advice on traditional African clothing, how to wear it and some of the meaning behind it. He also helped me consider gifts for the wedding.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience, it’s rare I leave a shopping experience in a better mood!
Unfortunately, I don’t regularly require African products but I’ll find a way to call in and see Omar again.

I was looking for a shea butter vendor and found this place online. I decided to go to the store and I absolutely love the products and enjoyed talking to the owner, Omar. I've been there twice. Omar treats his customers with respect and courtesy. The products I purchased over the last two visits have been high quality (some natural incense resin, shea butter, and African black soap). The shea butter is very moisturizing and 100% natural. I intend to purchase more from this gem of a shop!
