Townsend Park

It's a nice place but close to a busy intersection and Hockey rink so not quite but decent for Parents with kids and anyone else that uses a field for baseball soccer etc.

We train soccer at Townsend, and for the grass fields I find they have improved and well maintained. For soccer their are things that could be better but for a multipurpose field it does the job great.

Townsend park is the biggest park in chilliwack. Every year I get a chance to visit this place for Canada Day celebrations. The arrangements are always best at this place. Fireworks look beautiful in the region.

Higher rating if it wasn't scenically perched afoot of the wastewater treatment plant, treating sporting teams to the tangy essence of sewage. Mosquitos are fierce here in warm weather: wear bug spray, or ensure you have a will before the skeeters drain you. Parking should be ample, but when there is football, soccer and softball all at the same time, pickings are slim. Pros? Easy access, many different sporting events simultaneously, decently maintained.

Great park facility, the ball diamonds are in great shape, there is lots of room for really any kind of sporting activities.
