The beet and pear salad was not fresh and the kale salad was alright. It was nice that it wasn't too busy or loud though.

I was really pleasantly surprised by how many options this place has for vegan and gluten free folks! And by the prices, which are lower than other places that offer the same style of food. The service was pretty good - they could have been clearer when we explained that we had never been there (there are a LOT of different options for how you can put together your meal in terms of choosing sides and proteins to add on), but we figured it out. Overall, I had a delicious meal at a great price and I will definitely be going back.

Love the tomato soup. Had a small kale salad also. There are many healthy items to choose from. It has a large outside patio for the warmer days.

Tractor is dope! Massively underrated as a supplier of efficient, fresh and super yummy healthy grub in a plentiful and well presented portion.
When I say healthy, I don't mean leaves like those pathetic salads.they have a great range of options for healthy fats, wholesome ingredients and wholegrain options. One of the reason for my visits was how they have been able to integrate vegan options into the market green selections. I wanted to try something new today, so went with thw Tofu Quinoa Wrap, absolutely delicious! I wolfed it down in minutes.
The Tofu was marinated very well and the market options and power greens were super crisp, crunchy and fresh for sure. Plenty of flavor and exciting seasoning. Their market options are rad, very innovative and edgy I can't wait to try others. This was sweet! It is on the more expensive side as anyone who cooks, knows how much it'd take to whip this up. Tractor.you listened to my house hot sauce request and I dig you!
A rewards or loyalty scheme is really needed I feel as most competitors do offer one.

Good choice for a quick lunch break. They serve different kind of salads to choose from extra hot sauce without extra payment
For example: tofu bowl - grilled tofu on top of either rice/ lettuce/ half half plus two salads

Consistent tasty and healthy foods with lots of vegan options. An assured delicious meal. Only suggestion = organic edamame.

Ordered takeout today and watched as the staff preparing my meal took their masks off, joked around and proceeded to touch their faces (one of them looked like they were picking their nose) before touching the food, adding condiments and packing it up.

I'm pretty grossed out by the experience and would dissuade anyone from coming here.

Disappointing - Small portions - This place has gotten very stingy with portions. I've been a loyal Tractor customer for years and before I really felt there was good value here, big portions when ordering the market sides with a bowl, now they give you the least amount they can get away with - a small scoop vs the large healthy serves of the past. You can't raise prices AND serve less and expect to keep customers.

This place is paying attention to selling fresh and tasty food. Also, it has made sure that value is there even though it is cafeteria style. My ckn sandwich was not a typical one had very tasty ingredients and the lentil soup again very tasty with fresh spinach leaves! Great for a quick bite and does get busy lunchtime which is not surprising.

Thanks for the yummy bowl. Whoever was on drinks today around 2: 30PM made me a fabulous matcha latte with oat milk! Thank you:)

I’m enjoying this location more than the West 4th one I usually end up going to. Feels more spacious and they sell coffee here. Will make this one the default destination in future. Food prices are okay with the assumption their staff are paid fair wages to reflect that especially when tipping is truly optional. I love that I can sit, chat, eat at my leisure without getting chased out for turnover.

Highly recommended. The breakfast options are fantastic, the coffee is great and the staff are amazing-they never fail to impress me with their genuinely caring attitude.

UPDATE- so this is 9 months later and I’ve risked ordering from this Tractor a few times now (I live close by) … usually I order the Market Bowl… and… the last couple times have been great… excellent food, good portion for a decent price… so I’ll up the star rating to 4. If I keep get’n the goods… I’ll update to 5 stars.

Not very impressed with the portion size for the price. Decent food still, but I am very hesitant to eat lunch here again.since I just ate my wrap and I’m still hungry.

I've gone to Tractor semi-regularly for the past few years but unfortunately it's gotten to the point where what you get for the price just doesn't make sense. The bowl + drink I got on my last visit came out to over $25 dollars which is insane considering it is all pre-prepared food, and is good for when your on the go but is by no means extraordinary.

They also no longer offer there chicken kale Ceasar which is another way to replace a decent salad and fill the majority of your bowl with rice and plain greens while charging the same 16 dollars for it.

Such a shame the owners have opted to go this route, as it is likey to be a self extinguishing one.

Looks like a new place to eat and very interesting, I only ordered a couple of drinks but the staff is outstanding there! Went out of their way to help me out with parking. I will definitely be back to try their food when I have more time.

Owners claim they have not reduced the portion sizes but the truth is the majority of your bowl will just plain rice and plain greens. Really sad to see this place go downhill.

I only had a sandwich but it was very tasty, like home made, and reasonably priced. Would come back!

Their bowls are fantastic, especially the grilled avocado and tofu ones - generous portion for lunch. Consider adding side of a chicken breast, made tender on all the times I tried it. Not the biggest fan of their kimchi side though, not authentic at all. I like their power balls too, so tasty. Consistent, friendly service. Keep up the great work!

Today is my second time going there. I ordered a chicken bowl and asked if I can have 2 sides (coz I was not sure if it should be 2 or 3). He grabbed 2 sides and asked if I need protein, I said yes it is chicken bowl. He put a chicken on the top and then asked me to check. The amount is much less than last time (chicken bowl as well), and I asked what should be included in a chicken bowl. He told me it should be rice or greens as base. But the barista didn't even ask me. I asked for rice and he gave me rice in another smaller bowl. I asked then if I can just have a regular chicken bowl with base at the bottom and sides and protein on the top. Just like last time. He then mixed them all up together and give me a bowl like this. I really didn't want to pay coz I don't wanna even eat with seeing the bowl like this messy. I know everyone now is wearing a mask and it is a hard time, but please LISTEN to your customers what they are ordering! There was no one lining up behind me. I don't know what he was rushed for. I won't go there again. The bowl is not cheap and I would like to pay for something more worthy for the food AND services.

I can’t believe I never tried this place before!
The quality of food was amazing. The rice was so yummy (one of the few places I loved the way they made rice). The falafel was not my favourite but I love to try new items. I loved the variety of salad items and proteins I could choose from. At first sight, this $14 dish might look expensive; however, if you buy a chipotle bowl, that would be almost same price. And the portion size was as big as I kept some of the food aside for my dinner.
The staff was so friendly. It was my first time here and the gentleman behind the salad bar helped me pick the best combination I liked. I will definitely return here and try different items each time.

Honestly we used to love this place, it was super delicious food, but now the portion sizes have been cut in half and the price has gone up. Pretty disappointing. We aren’t planning on coming back.

Most of the food here is awesome, my favorites are the Lemon Kale Salad, Curried Cauliflower, Chicken sandwich & Seared Tuna but the Falafel is aweful, the seasoning is off the Falafel itself tastes strange, it was super disappointing.

To the oweners IF YOU"RE READING THIS IT'S NOT TOO LATE change your Falafel sandwich recipe, the veggie sandwich Tractor used to sell years ago was so much better.

Used to be great, as of recently (my last 2 visits in May and June) they have cut their portions in half! Pretty disgusting considering how much they already charge. Sadly won't come back again.

Very healthy and tasty food choices! I usually get the sandwich and soup combo but today opted for a pork bowl. Good sized portion that comes with 2 sides of your choice. I just wish we got more pork! In my bowl are the beets, brussel sprouts, and I chose greens instead of rice.
