First timer and will go back. Lexus was professional and took extra care in making the experience positive. Go for the Thai wings and try all the beer, no bad choices.
Been here a few times and each time we've felt it was required to have reservations from the host staff. Not sure if this is coming from management or not, but we're seated without issues other than being asked more than a few times if we have reservations. Everything else is pretty top notch. Great beer and good food! The beer cheese fries are amazing! Edit: one minor note. Worlds most uncomfortable chairs! Something to keep in mind if you plan to stay for more than 30mins.
So excited we finally got the chance to eat here! The service was excellent. The food was excellent, lots of gluten free accommodations and THE BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had. Highly recommend.
Actual brewery of which the pub is a part. Open space. Wooden slab tables & polished cement floor. Occasionally the place is packed and noisy. Lots of young families. Modest selection of hearty burgers and variety of salads. Vegetarian and Celiac catered to. Portions large, service prompt. Attention to cleanliness, attentive staff. Low price.
Don't even pay employees right. Worked there and the food was kept and used after best before dates. Staff meal I got a chicken burger. After realizing it was raw I refused to work or eat there.
The food is consistent and delicious (one of the best burgers anywhere). The beer selection and depth of flavour have grown over time, and there are some really solid options. Overall: recommend and will be back.
Attended a party at the Refinery for 50 plus people. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. The chef went above and beyond to ensure that the buffet meal was delicious and there was something for every taste. This is an excellent venue to host a gathering. The service was exceptional.
So the only reason this place gets one star is because of the food. The wings and potato cheddar soup were great. The stool sears are about 8x8 inches wide so unless you are 6 yrs old or have been starved for the last 6 months you just wont fit on them. It takes about a half hour before you start losing circulation in your legs. The staff was inept with forgetting parts of the order and leaving all 3 beers on the table empty for over 10 minutes, which for me is a deal breaker. Afterall, one goes to a brewery to drink beer. And speaking of that. Their selection is very limited and what you do get to choose from really isn't that good. All in all it's an experience I dont care to repeat. If you're in town stick to Foxies where they have the beer you want, waitresses that know how to keep hour beer full and a great atmosphere.
