Training Day Cafe

Traveling for work and training for an upcoming Olympic weightlifting competition. Stumbled upon Training Day Cafe and ordered a few healthy meals to keep my training on track. I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious meals, easy to order online, and very reasonably priced. I really enjoyed seeing the macro count and having such a big selection of tasty meals. I loved the big Mac bowl, taco salad, and spicy peanut chicken.

I have eaten lunch regularly at training day cafe for a few months now and have always been pleased with the food and environment, the workers are extremely nice and always welcome you with a smile when you walk in. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a macro friendly meal!

We came from Toronto for a visit and found this little place. We loved it and really enjoyed meeting the owner and learning about how hard it is to source healthy ingredients. But he's finding those healthy ingredients and you can taste it. We hope he keeps expanding to new locations!

My husband and I just went there for the first time. We are both in awe about their healthy options (made with real food!) and how delicious they are. We devoured it. And the owner was super nice not only to us, but also to his employees when we saw his interactions with them. Highly recommend, we will definitely be coming back.

The customer service is impeccable. The meals are delicious and convenient to have when you have a busy schedule. I highly recommend Training Day Cafe!

Ordered from skip the dishes tonight a simple order for a simple wrap and a protein shake which cost around 32 dollars total. I work about 7 minutes away from training day, order smoothies from there regularly post workout and the ladies that work there are very friendly. The order i placed today, on a super hot day my order arrived with no shake. I even asked the delivery driver Mandeep where the shake was, she replies “in the bag”. Open the bag. No shake. Extremely disappointed and puzzled how someone can literally screw up with an easy order with only a 7 minute delivery time. Training day can do a better job expediting their skip or uber orders though, the app support centre says “the drivers only deliver what is given to them”. Very discouraged by this, and will more than likely never order delivery from here again because i cannot trust the communication between the restaurant and the incompetent delivery drivers. My best advice: pick up your order!

If I had the option to give 0 stars, I would have given that. The customer service is terrible. The girls at the front are very very rude, disrespectful and don’t know how to talk. They made me wait for 45 mins and didn’t even said sorry for messing up my order. This is not the first time this happened. This has happened couple of time with me and my friends. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I think the owner should take this problem seriously because this is gonna ruin there business.

Basically this restaurant doesn’t deserve even a single star. They serve food which is already spoiled. The owner is making profit and doesn’t care about their customers health and well being. Selling chicken which is a week old is shameful

Best place for healthy and fresh food always. Friendly service and five stars for food quality.

They serve 2-3 days old chicken to the customers. The food smells very bad. Very disappointed. Will never go there again.

The best healthy options in all of the lower mainland. I’ve gotten meal prep and takeout from training day cafe for over a year and I’m still obsessed. They change the flavours and recipes up so you don’t get bored but still have lots of classics. I love their new shakes too for quick grab and gos.

The owner doesn’t know how to talk to people. He talks Very rudely. They gave me chicken bowl which was tasteless. After eating only one spoon i threw the bowl in garbage. Never order from here.

The best health restaurant ever. I visited today and the owner was present in the store and noticed him helping his employees when they got busy. Such an amazing person. The food quality and the food both are A+. Highly recommended.

I've been using meal prep service from Training Day Cafe the last few months to help with dinner 3 times per week. I've been really enjoying my experience. Meal prep service definitely saves me time, as I have quite a busy schedule. Meals are always delicious. As well, they offer bulk packs including cooked rice, chicken, and more, which I find very helpful for meal prepping my lunch for the entire week. I also really appreciate that they were able to accommodate my request to increase the carbs per meal from 1/2 cup to 1 cup, as I'm currently in a bulking phase. Thanks, Training Day Cafe!

Huge fan of the Training Day Cafe’s meal prep services! I’ve tried a lot of other meal prep companies in the past and nothing even comes close to Training Day when it comes to taste, quality, variety and portions. Customer service is consistently great as well!

I would highly recommend Training Day to anyone looking for incredibly convenient, healthy and TASTY food.

BBQ chicken Salad, Salmon Spring Salad and Peston chicken Pasta are some of the must try items! Their meals have a balance of Carbs, Protein, fibre and Fat. Start with a smaller package and upgrade as you progress. It worked out pretty well for me.

Have been ordering meal prep from training day for several months and I could not be more pleased with the service I’ve received! The meals are delicious, there is a huge selection and variety or foods! The staff has been nothing but wonderful to work with! A true life saver for a busy mom on the go!
