Trees Restaurant & Bakery

We came in on a holiday Monday and there were only two women working. Despite it being super busy, they were gracious, calm and accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was awesome.

An amazing little find with a diner feel and service with a big smile! Delicious eggs bennies and in-house baked goods. A new favorite for certain!

Service is fast, and personal very attentive, the food not so great, we order a cajun chicken wrap, a bufalo chicken wrap, chicken tenders, and a Barkley Sandwich (it has too much garlic). If you are looking for breakfast you need to arrive before 11: 00am, we have no experience with the breakfast menu. They have a nice bakery at the same place, we will try some of this sweets next time.

Went in mid afternoon for some of their homemade fries. So disappointed. They were old, wrinkled and greasy. We live in the area and had been really looking forward to their newly covered patio. We won't be back unless quality is addresses.

Cute little diner with good food and decent prices. Jessica was our server, and she was absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful.

Great food, quick and friendly service

The restaurant was busy, to the point that there was a line-up out the door of people waiting to get in. Not only that, but there was a constant flow of people picking up baking to go.

However, the service was friendly and the food came out surprisingly quick despite how busy it was. It was very tasty and of a high quality for a diner-type establishment. The breads in our meal tasted like they were fresh baked at the bakery.

Just make sure to get there early as it does get busy and there is limited seating.

The staff appeared burnt out and annoyed. We ordered a vegetarian burger to be made vegan, but it came with cheese and mayo. The dressing on the summer salad was too sweet.

Had a fantastic chicken cordon bleu burger there, but the line was long to get in on a Wed during tourist season.

Worst service ever, the elder lady with curvy hair tied up is racism for sure, we were left there for over 15 mins from the moment we sit down, nobody take order for us, do not ever came into this place unless you are Caucasian.

Showed up for breakfast and waited 35 minutes at the door. Staff said they were cleaning tables but I watched none of them do so. Tables with dishes on them sat and people kept leaving but nobody sat us or the other two parties waiting. We had allowed a certain amount of time to have a meal and after waiting so long we no longer had enough time to eat before work. Had to leave without a bite. Can't say I have had great interactions with staff here in the past. Long waits are very very common and no apologies are made.
Sad.

I'm pretty sure they made a pact with the devil for amazing breakfast food. Go eat it

We had a clam chowder, the famous burger, and fish and chips. The food was acceptable but not something we would go out of the way for. I would probably pick the food at White Spot over this. But Trees did have a nice small town diner vibe.

Great home cooked style food, generous servings, fabulous instore baked bread. Very noisy though.

We would give this place a 6 star if we could. Wife ordered the breakfast with fruit (7 or 9 different fruit) all of it was really fresh! I had standard bacon, eggs and home fries. Not sure where they get the bacon but it was all meat very little fat, home fries spiced to perfection. So much fruit wife having it for lunch, with a cookie from the pastry section that was incredible. If you are staying anywhere close to this location it’s worth the drive.

Where to start… service is great and is usually pretty quick if it’s not busy (like under 20 minutes). The people are nice and the food is incredible. The portions are spot on and the visual delivery is above and beyond for a dinner. I continue and will continue to support this awesome business.

If you want to find a good restaurant, just find out where the locals go when they eat out. In Errington, that place is Trees Restaurant. The food is good, the service is fast and courteous and the portions are big. Best of all, this restaurant is a bakery as well so the toast and buns and desserts are fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you check out this restaurant if you are in the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area.

Great bakery (even has gluten free breads!). Really great "family style" diner. Prices very reasonable

Baked goods are phenomenal. Especially the Bee Sting bun. We ate at the restaurant and had a Rueben sandwich and a Cornish pasty. Both were awesome.

Terrible place.
One of the waitress is totally a racist.
I ordered a hot chocolate and I said " it's not even warm and very watery" and she said "we don't use water" I said "well okay, milk but not enough powder" and she said " we don't use powder, we use syrup" she knew what I meant, and you know what? We (5 of us including kids) all can tell we are not welcomed.
Worst experience ever since I came to Canada for 27 years and first negative review for me, the restaurant owes apologies

Great homestyle diner food with fresh baked breads. Absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes

Great restaurant and very reasonable prices! Went for breakfast with my wife and very impressed with the meals. Incredible hash brown potatoes done to perfection. Large eggs with great bacon. The toast they serve is awesome and would be worth coming here for on its own! Prompt service by very polite waitresses. Most restaurants these days have increased prices to the point of almost not being affordable. We were impressed that this restaurant has kept their prices very reasonable. We plan to make this a regular restaurant stop for us.
