Jeffrey and Nirmala are wonderful humans. We feel blessed that they chose to open a tiny restaurant right in our neighborhood - we view them as neighbors and friends and well as thriving entrepreneurs! Love the great food and culture.

Goat curry with a buss up shirt (deconstructed wrap on a plate with torn roti to dip in sauce) is an amazing once a week treat on Fridays only. Great Trini drinks as well. Can eat in or to go, very tasty authentic fare for a reminder of sunnier climes and times.

Delicious! Reminds me of my moms Trinidadian cooking! Miss these flavours and so glad to find a place with this level of quality in Victoria. It’s a must folks!

Nice, small Trinidadian restaurant. Service was good. Food was decent. A bit pricy but food is expensive these days.

By far the best roti I've ever had! The doubles are worth the trip on a Saturday and Jeffrey is so friendly. A must visit!

What can I say about this restaurant other than it is hands down the best Carribean restaurant on the west coast. I have been able to go back home in a few years and every time I come here and have the food it reminds me of home. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, it's all amazing and I highly recommend anyone to go here and eat.

This little hidden gem on the large island of Vancouver island provided and amazing friendly welcoming for first time travelers.being a Caribbean my self it just felt amazing that even on a island where this isint a norm, theirs still people doing what it takes too keep our culture alive.the food was amazing *coming from a guyanese’s*

Try the goat on Saturdays, or the doubles for a real Island taste. The Owners are the nicest people that you could meet.

The woman in the front was super kind and sweet. It was refreshing seeing a West Indian restaurant after driving all the way across the country from Niagara Falls.

We had lunch on their outside patio while listening to the music from inside.

The tasted great, the vibe was right and the service was excellent!

Way to expensive for what it actually is. 3/4 of the wrap is potatoes, there’s is for 2-3$ of meat maximum. No sauce on the side just this sad wrap for 14$. Thought I was gone get a plat with a salade at that price but not at all. They really charge too much

"SERVING excellent food" would be much more accurate than "doling out"! There is nothing meager about these meals.

I am addicted to the magical food conjured up here. And so is everyone in our household. If you love Trini chicken roti, beware! Because you’ll keep coming back for more, even when you weren’t planning too! Good people, good food. Yum yum.

It's not easy to find Caribbean food on the Island but this is a hidden gem and one of my favorite places to grab Roti for lunch.

If you love to try new things this is the place for you. The food is perfect the flavours are amazing and the staff always has a smile on their faces. I eat here at least once a week when working in Victoria, highly recommend you come have lunch here.

I received a recommendation from a local and decided to check this place out and boy was I ever glad that I did! The food is authentic Trinidadian fair, wow the Roti was fantastic and flavourful and tasty with rich curry potatoes and ample chicken I asked for mine extra spicy and it was very good! I highly recommend trying this place out! It’s family owned and operated and everything is lovingly prepared fresh! On Saturday get there early and try the Hot Doubles but they sell out fast!

I came here for lunch on a week day with some coworkers. The food was pretty good. We had rotis and we all enjoyed our choices. Maybe the rotis were filled by too much potato and they lacked a bit of meat, but still, they were phenomenal. The service was nice and kind. On the down side, the restaurant is very small and looks old, and has minimalist decoration. It seems the kind of place for ordering the food to go instead eating in.

Have been wanting to go to this restaurant for years. Finally in Victoria and tried the roti today. I was amazed by the freshness and the curry.
The owners were friendly and receptive. Good luck with the biz. I hope to be back.

If this is what they eat in Trinidad and Tobago, I will definitely have to go! Food here is great. The roti tastes fresh and flavourful. And the filling is nicely flavoured and was perfectly spiced. I had a medium spice level, although I probably could go to the next level. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Caribbean food.

Not much choice for Carribean soul food in Victoria, so it is good to have a nice roti spot. Owners are great people too.

Assuming this place is as authentic as everyone raves, I might have to visit Trinidad in the near future because their food is delicious. Very kind people working hereand everything we ordered was awesome. They do something called doubles on Saturday, which just replaced chicken mole as my favourite dish.

Excellent Trinidadian food in a "mom and pop" shop. I come for hot doubles on Saturday mornings on a regular basis with my friends.

Man these people make you feel like you are in the Caribbean as you walk in the door with music, the Trinidad and Tobago atmosphere, food, price and then the bonus of a wonderful customer service. Thank you Jeffery & Nimala
