Tsawwassen Causeway Beach

I’ve been coming to this beach with my family for years so I may be biased, but I think it’s great! Super convenient being able to drive your vehicle right up to your spot on the beach (though beware - the “road” is full of potholes and it’s rocky, it’ll be a bumpy ride!). Also make sure you have a washroom plan, as the washrooms can be a bit of a walk and they’re port-a-johns that don’t seem to get cleaned very often. Worth it though!

I have been going there since a kid. It is a beautiful place. But it could use better maintenance. The road is very rough going in. Also being the only viable launching ramp in the area, sad for a ocean community, it could use an upgrade. Also parking especially on a weekend becomes difficult. It is the only place left that you can park on the beach. So very nice but had some down sides. Mike.

Nice little beach with parking, great views for sunset, it's close to ferry terminal.

My wife and I love to go there in the evening for our 'mini date night'. Beautiful place to enjoy a coffee and some doobage.

Access road is full of potholes. "Beach" is so full of debris you can't really walk by the water. It is also subject to a lot of noise and exhaust from the ferry traffic. Not exactly a relaxing spot.

This is a beautiful beach to have a picnic, launch small boats or just to relax for the day. Bring your own chairs. No public washroom

Beautiful.peaceful.the road to go to the water is very very rough. But worth the scratches to the bottom of your car.lots of dirt wood to have a fire with.

Rich with wildlife and diversity. Fun place to visit for a picnic. Can’t swim here and road is rough.

A bit of a bumpy pot hole filled ride to get to the area but it’s a pretty serene little spot despite the highway. No sand, you’re working with rocks/gravel here but relatively calm water; you’ll see kayakers and paddle boarders (look at tide charts before going though, low tide gets realllly low here) in the summer, as well as dog walkers and bbq-ers. Beautiful homes along the water.
A couple of portable toilets in the bushes near the “entrance” otherwise facilities limited.

A splendid place to spend even the whole day. Next time we'll get food and coffe and gonna just watch the nature. A lot of small crabs under the stones.

Nice place to watch ships, fish, have a bbq, fire and to relax and enjoy the day.

There is parking but unfortunately the road to get there is not maintained and has many potholes in it. Drive carefully.

Such a lovely walk on the rocky beach after an even lovelier ferry ride to Vancouver. Picked up a few pretty rocks, as we enjoyed the cold and rainy day.

A peaceful rocky shoreline on the southern side of the causeway to the Tsawwassen BC Ferries terminal. Complete with a boat launch.
