Tsuki Sushi Bar

Sashimi app and Avalanche roll with a Sapporo was a perfect lunch. Service was exceptional with tea refills and any questions answered. I would highly recommend this place when you're in the area.

I love this place and usually order food from there once a week minimum. They are very friendly staff and they are really quick with preparing the food. The chefs are very friendly as they usually greet you with a big hello as you enter the building and will usually say goodbye in a nice, loud voice as you were leaving. The prices are reasonable. As well, they take notes I am assuming on their computer for the regular visitors because when I went to go order some thing today they took note of something I mentioned last week and brought it to my attention today if I still wanted my food served in the way I mentioned last week.

Forgot utensils, asked to bring some, told to pound sand. Bad customer service. Food is meh.

Craving for sushi. Came across this place, it’s only 200m from Rogers Arena. Decided to grab a quick bite before Rod Stewart concert. Delicious

Horrible experience. Decent food (look cost sushi expectation) but did have a couple bad pieces of fish. Never again.

Fresh! We visiting a few times during our week long visit. Everything we had was delicious. We would be regulars if we were locals. Waitstaff was friendly, restaurant was clean. We dined in and ordered take out. Both were rather quick.

As all the Chinese restaurants were busy with lineups we ended up here. Very well priced and the food fresh.

Cozy spot for affordable sushi! I really enjoyed the volcano roll with scallops.the oven baked rolls were also an interesting try.

Amazing place! If you are picky about fish quality this is a rare affordable option. The nigiri are extremely fresh and service is good.

- great dining atmosphere, love the high rise design, wood table and chair, feel pretty authentic

- service is a bit slow in the beginning (probably waited 20 minutes to be seated + taking orders), but the food was prepared and delivered efficiently.

- waitress are super nice and kind, always have a big smile on their faces. Love it haha

- food quality is decent, no obvious defrost taste in the sashimi, pressed sushi is well done, dressing and seasoning is on the spot. Udon noodle is a bit over cooked (a bit soggy)

Overall, I'm happy with the meal and will come back again

Sashimi was fresh. Tobika and ikura was not that fresh. Sunomono salad was the worst along with the service. The waitress did not seem like she wanted to be there. We didn’t even get our own separate plates, we just ate off the plate that the fish was on. Don’t recommend.

We are from the midwest and found this delightful sushi place in Vancouver. It was actually in chinatown and the photos show what we started with and how we finished. It was amazing and not overly priced. Our first meal British Columbia. A definite win. Would love to come back.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I had come with my child for a pre show dinner and we had a solid hour before our show was due to start. The restaurant was mostly empty with people at the bar and a few of the side tables. The big table in the middle was entirely empty. There were 4-5 staff working behind the counter which usually means quick service. The food looked really good going by what I saw other people eating so I was looking forward to a delicious meal. We sat down and placed our orders and then sat there for nearly 40 minutes waiting for our food, being served only miso soup during that time.

Meanwhile we watched plate after plate of food be delivered to the 4 people sitting at the bar and takeout orders be prepped and picked up as we got hungrier and more annoyed. Finally I asked the server (who was very nice and polite but seemed a bit stressed) how much longer the wait would be and was told that they had not yet started the order and it would be a further 10-15 minutes. At that point my appetizer finally came and I asked them to cancel the rest of my order because it had been 45 minutes wait at that point and we no longer had time to eat. I was informed that they had just started preparing the first part of my daughter’s order so I had them cancel everything else so at least she would be able to eat.

I left 2 stars instead of 1 because the server was doing his best under the circumstances, but a 45 minute wait in a nearly empty restaurant with lots of staff working is ridiculous. We won’t be back.

The sushi is good for the price. Ordered 4 rolls to share, I personally liked the house special volcano roll. Was not too busy when we arrived and our reservation didn't seem necessary.

The food was pretty decent and didn't cost much which was nice, although a few of our plates were chipped and service was a touch slow. Overall good place to eat

I’ve had great experiences here. Take out quality can be less awesome, but is still good (the presentation and freshness of the dishes is part of what they do so well with dine-in, and that’s just hard to pull off with take-out).

Was okay but there are better sushi places in the area. The server seemed either very new or very overwhelmed (restaurant was at about 1/3 capacity though) as he kept forgetting things and although we did want to order additional maki he didn’t make eye contact or check on us until after ‘last call’.

Food was okay but the rolls were definitely thinner than I’ve ever seen, so thin in fact that we couldn’t really eat them without everything falling out of the rice.

Went for dinner and place was a bit busy. Ordered two items and I love their Salmon Carpaccio, it's very delicious and the texture is amazing. The sushi was good as well. Price was reasonable as well and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

All you want from general sushi.

Wait time will be 30 mins even if there is only 3 other tables. So if you aren't in a rush.great come here.if you are in a rush, you might want to skip this place.but WOW.for the prices and quality.great little place to eat at.but the rice definitely needs to improve.

Delicious sushi and very affordable. I ate in and the waitress was very friendly and the decor is lovely.

This place is pretty cheap. The sushi is tasty but about average as far as ratings. Working out of CBC there aren't too many restaurants within walking distance with outstanding ratings but this definitely exceeded my expectations accordingly with the reviews. Would totally come here again.

The salmon carpaccio was a little disappointing. It's usually made with a light lemon vinaigrette but they drenched it with BBQ sauce with overly cooked salmon. However their tuna belly aburi was really good.

The worst experience ever. Never have I tasted cheap sushi in any city before but for Vancouver it was a true disappointment. The sushi rice was overcooked. The service was even worse. The waiter mistook my order, came back acknowledged that it was his mistake and stated that he would bring out what I originally ordered. I waited patiently to realize that nothing was going to be done and asked for the bill. The waiter stated my bill to me. He itemized each item including the item which he reiterated was his mistake but fully charged me anyways. I paid and even tipped but wont see me recommending or back here again.

Was there last night. People making your food don’t wear their mask above their chin. Tuna was old/darkened and unappetizing. Crunch roll was decent but sloppy. Server was kind but looked unhappy to be there.

Staff were extremely friendly, and the sushi was delicious! Some of the best sushi I’ve had in Vancouver.

Everything about this place was amazing. The interior decor is very calming and cozy. I ordered the tsuki dynamite roll and gyozas and the food has made this my favorite sushi stop in downtown.

Just landed in Vancouver and needed some grub. This place was perfect! Both food and service was amazing. Ordered the Ebi Udon Soup, Blazing Unagi Roll and the White Roll. Great value for the overall experience. Would love to visit here again once we're back in Vancouver.

Good offering at reasonable prices. As a newbie, I really enjoyed the Sake tasting set, which was a great way for me to get introduced to this drink. Food was tasty. Service was slow and some of the customers were shaddy; one of them even approached us, which made the table feel uncomfortable.

For super cheap sushi that's not half bad, def check out this place! It's across from the Cineplex and the area around is a bit sketchy but the sushi restaurant itself is cute. Warning though, for the spicy Salmon rolls, they use sriracha as the sauce. We ordered 5 different Maki rolls which ended up costing us $28 before tip. Pretty good! It was enough to feed 3 people!

The sushi was cute. Place was cute. But overall forgetting about us and taking 3 other groups’ orders before us was very annoying.

It’s a simple mistake but it’s stuff like this that keeps me from coming back to a restaurant again.

Excellent food. The Scallop Nigiri is pristine and tastes amazing. Service was flawless. There was a bit of a wait but who can help that? Would return if I didn’t live in the USA

I always knew this place but first time to be here. We were surprised on how good is the food. Seafood are fresh and well presented. Definitely going back here.

The sushi is very delicious each dish is represented as a work of art. Clean restaurant very curtious staff. Best part they have Gluten Free options and ocean wise choices. Oh yeah and mouth wash in the washroom

I've probably been to over 400 sushi restaurants and wpudl rate this one of the top 10! Was super fresh, tasty and unique for very reasonable prices

Little trendy place to each sushi. A little bit expensive, but good quality and nice employees.

This is one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. I have tried multiple rolls and sashimis and everything has been absolutely delicious. You cannot go wrong.
I also recommend their party trays as they are affordable and a great option to share at potlucks or picnics.
Before the COVID restrictions I enjoyed dining in and always received excellent service. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Don’t miss out on this place. It’s easy to look over, but it is hands down the best sushi cafe in Vancouver. They have a wide selection of torched rolls and oshi for some of the cheapest prices you can find. Avalanche Roll and the Tsuki Dynamite roll are some of the best I’ve ever had, and they’re both around $10. You can get a huge meal here for $20

Got takeout unagi donburi and spicy tuna sushi. Unagi was incredibly delicious and loaded with flavour. There was a little bit too much rice.

Spicy tuna sushi was exceptional. It is deceptively spicy.

I love their rolls and sashimis! It’s always fresh and the quality is consistent. Definitely recommend!

I call this unique place many times because I like the ambiance that is unique to this restaurant. The personel is extremely loyal and qualified. The service is pretty fast. Needless to say, the food they cook is first-rate. I frequent more than once and I was always delighted. The expense is honest. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

Great sushi reasonable prices. Something about eating sushi when you can smell the ocean, the staff was friendly and inviting. Try the west coast rool truly an amazing combination of flavors.

Went before a Canucks game and it was full, only had to wait 10 minutes before we got a seat though. They have a lot of different veggie rolls which was nice to see

Wow, I was amazed how every single sashimi was fresh as heaven. I could actually taste the quality. Good raw fish=good sushi! Isn't it? Spinach Gomae was fantastic too!
If you don't wanna go to fish market but want fresh fish, try this place!

Nice, good, fast, chill. Not an upscale place but it's clean and sharp and when you just want good sushi at a good price it fits the bill

Fast service, mediocre quality. I ordered pressed sushi but it was rather puffy than pressed. With a miso soup this plate was priced at roughly $25 after discount.

THE BEST sushi u can get in Vancouver. Definitely worth the travel. Staffs are nice, food fresh and just melts in ur mouth.if i could, i would move to downtown just to get Tsuki everyday

This is pretty good. They have good food but it’s pretty small rolls for the price. There’s better places around. But this place is still decent. Give it a shot if it’s convenient for you.

They have a surprisingly decent number of vegetarian options for a sushi restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was quite decent (not the best vegetarian sushi I've had, but definitely worth giving it a try once).

I ordered and mentioned I had an allergy to tuna; and asked if I could sub, some of the rolls on the party combo. They straight up said no. I am not mad, as surprised that there is no attempt to compromise with my allergy.

The fish is fresh! Had a half order of Salmon Sashi and Oshinko roll. Good portions, nice cut and the roll stayed together nicely. Quick efficient services when not at peak serving times.

Went for early dinner tonight. Good that we did. The restaurant could seat about 30 so by the time we sat down, it filled up very quickly. Four of the 5 dishes (White Roll, Crunch Gogo Roll, Toro Sashimi, and Hamachi Oshi) were all pretty good. However, the Dynamite Roll was too salty and somewhat disappointing.
