T&T Supermarket

T & T Supermarket is connected to Loblaw supermarkets (eg Loblaws, No Frills, SuperValu, Superstore, etc). While the main one in Richmond BC in Lansdowne Centre has their Seafood Bar where they can cook what you buy to eat there, a Starbucks, and Xing Fu Tang bubble tea, the T & T near the Richmond Oval, minus those services, is much less crowded.
Both the upper and lower underground parking entrances are a bit tight so watch the mirrors to see if anyone is coming in the opposite direction. Provider WestPark monitors constantly so be sure to register your licence plate for the free parking.
The pictures are from noon on a Thursday (sorry, I missed aisle 9). Not many fellow shoppers. The store is well laid out and very clean. Interestingly, this chain often has a better selection of Japanese Kit Kats than the local Japanese supermarkets. T & T has good promotions tied to Asian festival times. I would say the non-Asian products/labels, like cheese and dairy, are priced a bit higher than other supermarkets. T & T has a lot of frozen meats that are hard to find elsewhere. They have vegetable seeds, and some are specifically Chinese vegetables.
I saw a number of staff with 'personal shopper' aprons collecting orders. They told me you can order online with a number of options (pick up, express delivery, and mail delivery) so check out the website.
So if you are a Kit Kat hunter, or want a break from the Lansdowne T & T crowds, try this location.
By the way, the Truffle and Mushroom Steamed Bun was delicious and one of the better T&T buns I have had. Very good mushroom flavour with the truffle (oil?) added, at least 2 kinds of mushrooms, I think water chestnut, and at a good price.

Ordered online delivery: They gave us an open bag of dumplings and two had fallen out into the plastic bag.jokes. On time though haha

Clean and new place. My go to spot for cute Asian snacks that are usually hard to find elsewhere or new. Fun to discover wacky flavored new promotional items to try here. Otherwise, they also have all your normal grocery needs.

Nice T&T tucked out of the way. Open til 10 p.m, try to avoid peak lunch and dinner hours on weekends as the underground parking lot can get super busy. Lots of fresh food and hot meal options with nice semi outdoor seating.

The usual T&T the asain superstore. Food is pretty cheap in general. Though I find the sushi not refresh. The cake is not that high quality but the price is relatively expensive.

Best Asian Grocery Store in Canada, wish they had a Branch in Bellingham WA, because of their fresh offerings cannot be carried across the border, their live fresh fish is the best

Very clean location. Lots of stock and great hot food options. A whole isle for noodles.yes! Large area for frozen dumplings/potstickers/dim sum. So much to choose from!

Very big and clean. Is a nice place to buy groceries. Price are comparably cheap. Personal preference is T&T, rather than the others in the same area.

Ok, the fact that you can just grab your fresh seafood and they prepare them right then and there is already deserving a 5/5. Aside from that it’s one of the better Asian market out there.

Clean and trendy Chinese grocery store with a bakery that has tiramisu and chocolate cake among other pastries. There also sort of cafeteria style dinner where one can pick up the ready to eat Chinese) food and pays by the weight at the check out counter. Pricing is reasonable for such a nice facility.

Much improved Asian market. They changed their hot food counter and made it much more limited in choice, but self service.

I had double charged. People have to play attention to what you bought and check receipt before leaving.

Really like this store. Love to try new foods, the desserts section looks amazing! The store is very popular, always lots of people, but it’s for a reason!

Tried their coconut and raisin bread with spicy shrimps. Really enjoyed it. Very tasty and not too hot/spicy, it's just right!

Convenient T&T that services Oval Village and Lansdowne. It’s clean and has reasonable prices with daily specials. A good selection of fresh and frozen seafood and freshly made goods including baked breads and tarts, noodles, congee, sushi and various dishes. Never a long wait at the lines.

Early morning shopping is the best. Plenty of parking, quiet store and no lineup at the cash register.

Love this store. I am always happy here. Vietnamese subs? Check! Sushi? Check? Bubble tea? Yes please! Coconut buns? Yes I'll have some! Pretty much anything food? Checks all the boxes!

It sells all kinds of Asian (Chinese) grocery. But it sometimes sells on sale item because they are expiring very, very soon. So, check very carefully the expiry date when you buy on sale items. They also loves to display overpriced items beside on sale items hoping people would fall for it.

Overall a good store. Good reputation. However fruits and vegs not the freshest. Price is expensive too.

Underwhelming. My experience started with the awful parking situation. It was difficult to find everything I needed. Store clerk was difficult to track down and then didn't seem to concerned to help.

One of the popular Asian supermarket with a lot Asian flavor. Place is clean and tidy. You can't miss the food court with a lot of ready to serve Asian food

Has everything you need in one place and the hot bar of Asian food is delicious. Definitely try out the soups there.on point!

This T&T location even has a Starbucks coffee inside. T&T replaced the former Safeway at this location as the Richmond demographics change. I think this is the largest T&T location, even bigger than Ora or Renfrew. It has Whole Foods type feel with its Asian Street Food section. Good selection of Asian soups and Chinese buffet style foods. Good deals when items go on special.

Clean Asian supermarket with well priced hot food section. The noodle bar is strange. You need to pay for it first at the cashier (and they didn't have a register open at the food section) and come back with the receipt and order sheet in order to get the soup. Then if you want a bag you need to go to cash or customer service.

I spoke in English to the hot food staff and they respond in Mandarin. They also advertise larger sushi platters but they weren't available to order when i went.

You can find lots of Chinese special items here. Very convenient but price is higher than small grocery stores
