Turmeric Indian Cuisine

Went for a last minute date night tonight with the husband. We were treated like royalty, such gracious service in a beautiful atmosphere. The best part though was the food, oh my goodness, everything was so delicious! What an awesome experience. Definitely my new favorite restaurant.

We did food catering for my son's birthday, and I must say that the food was so good that everyone at the party enjoyed it. The quantity was adequate, as was the presentation. Overall, my experience with Turmeric was excellent.

I had dinner last night at Turmeric restaurant. We had combo B. It was delicious. And it even comes with dessert. The owners and wait staff are so friendly and helpful. I can’t rate this restaurant highly enough. It will soon become a favourite. If you’re looking for authentic, good and extremely tasty Indian food, please come here. Very decent food. They have a buffet which is a big plus. However, a buffet without "biryani" is a big minus. Casual atmosphere.

It is always a pleasure whenever my wife and I get to go out to Turmeric. Their food is truly excellent, though even more of the draw for us is how warm and inviting, kind and genuine Raj and his team are. I highly recommend Turmeric.

Delicious pakora, and vindaloo, perfectly spiced with amazing aromas. Heat does not overpower the subtleties of flavour like many places.

It was great dining in here for our lunch on our trip to victoria. Usually food we ate at some other places was little sweet in taste rather than being spicy but the server understand our need properly and served the best matar paneer i have ever eaten since I came to Canada.

For my first experience with Indian food it was ok. The space was in need of a makeover. Wobbly tables & wooden chairs. No atmosphere. Lovely looking patio. The menu layout isn't clear other than price that you need to order everything seperately (veggies, rice, etc). The lamb was really good. Chicken was ok, seemed everything had the same overall flavour. Nice people

Excellent food. We had the Coconut Curry and Saagwala both with lamb, some rice and a naan bread each. Everything we ordered was delicious. Friendly and professional staff. 10/10 would recommend. Was the perfect destination for date night.

Amazing food! Ordered a combo with a variety of curry, rice, naan, samosas, and dessert. BEST mango mousse ever! Must try.

Had a lovely Birthday dinner celebration for my sister here. Food was hot, delicious and plentiful. Our server was attentive and kind. We'll be back! Tomorrow! For the lunch buffet!

Lovely place for some authentic food made exclusively in house. Great service. Nice atmosphere.

Ambience is nice with live sitar. Service needs a major upgrade. Food is whitewashed. Need authentic flavors go elsewhere, downtown maybe. Ordered coconut chicken and you could tell they had thrown a few boiled chicken pieces in already prepped gravy. Disappointed!

Update Aug 6: updated from 3-star to 5-star. Visited again today with fiamily and our dog. The server was incredibly polite and courteous. He made us feel welcome although we had our dog with us. The patio was great. A nice hearty meal later; we left with our hearts and tummy content.

The service and food has improved greatly from pre-Covid

I'm not an Indian food lover, but I went there to meet friends, food was ok, I guess the presentation of the food was great but wheh I left I noticed my clothes got impregnated with the unique smell of that food, I didn't like that.

Raj is always so kind and offers service with a smile. The food is fantastic and they offer a variety of options for every spice and flavour preference. It is our go-to restaurant and probably visit once a month, every time is a great experience and the food always tastes amazing. You can’t go wrong with visiting Raj at Turmeric!
