Just a horrible customer service. Buy something and takes forever for them to process your order and pick up time can take over a week. Literally youre packing a clothing, shoving it in a bag, and call it a day — takes over a week. Imagine the shipping time! Local pick up is the worst; hours, location, costumer ethics, just horrendous. DONT bother with this consignment as you’re in for a dreadful wait time.

Absolutely amazing selection of used clothing and amazing sale prices. I bought 3 designer items that would have been well over $800.00 for $115.00. Amazing.

Items are ok. Staff (owner older woman and young man) have a stick up …! Sad to see grown adults wanting to seem important. Insecurities makes people behave so little.

Recently I wanted to re-sell a bag with a well known shop around Vancouver so I tried to email Turnabout in November 2022 for a quote on a bag but never received a response to my email. So then I submitted my bag for a quote on their website a few weeks ago with pictures and notes and everything, their email says they will reach out in 24-72 hours for a quote.well I still have not heard from them, it's been almost 2 weeks. I don't understand why they have contact information or a special "Sell your bag now" spot on the website if they aren't reaching back out to people who have inquired with them. I had high hopes for this place but won't recommend this place in the future.

If you love higher quality and name brand clothing and shoes at discounted prices, this store is for you! Very clean and well laid out and friendly staff.
But be prepared. Prices are still high.
I wouldn't call it a thrift store.
Thrifty if you have money to burn.

Turned me away rolling their eyes and saying too much "wear and tear". They didnt even look at my stuff. They literally didnt take anything out of the bags I brought.but had no problem making me wait near an hour overall. I think I was profiled. So unprofessional!

This location is the best of all of them. They’re picky about what they carry so the quality is always good. I’ve bought so many good things here, everyone is surprised when I tell them it’s from Turnabout.

I needed an emergency dress for an event in two days because the dress I ordered was caught up in shipping disasters. Dawna was amazing! She brought me basically every dress in the store to try on until I found the right one, as well as the perfect shoes and faux-fur collar. I will definitely be back in future.

The store has a lot of beautiful things and the staff is amazingly welcoming.
Elena especially, was simply perfect.
Because it was my first time in Turnabout, she explained me how the store works and where to find what, so I didn’t have to guess or walk around to look for what I needed.
I love my coat and skirt. =)

Whenever I have a special occasion I will search at their stores to find something unique. Great merchandise! However, I wouldn’t trust the sales associates at the luxury store, bring a friend instead. They also can be super friendly until you say “I want to think about it” then it’s like you don’t exist. The other store on Granville has a wider range of brands but also some very nice designer brands and the sales associates are way nicer.

I had a similar experience to another reviewer (Crystal Vuong) at one of the “higher end” locations on granville where the woman that greeted me also seemed like she looked me up and down as if profiling me. She also consistently had her eye on me even though there were multiple other people in the store. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome so I left and walked to the other Turnabout abt two stores down where the prices were more affordable and I had an excellent experience there! Amazing and very helpful + friendly staff. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and told about the deals going on in the store, another lady was very helpful in suggesting similar items I was looking for while I was trying on clothes. Very uplifting and welcoming environment, I highly recommend this location. However I will not be returning to the “higher end” Turnabout.

Found a great gift that was like new condition. Great selection and friendly service. All staff following safety precautions and health guidelines.

Good stock, but rude and suspicious staff who follow up around like you're a criminal even if you had a good purchase history from them. Makes me feel so uncomfortable shopping here.

I discovered Turnabout last fall after having lost a bunch of weight and needing an entirely new wardrobe. My first trip in was a major score! The sales woman that worked with me said I should buy a lottery ticket! I have been a loyal customer ever since and have sold much of my old "BIG" clothes back to them. Had a good day today too, shopping with two gal pals from out of town. We all purchased great stuff! If you have time and patience, shop there. They only sell top quality, gently used clothing, shoes and accessories and at amazing prices! My favourite locations are West Broadway and West 4th.

I prefer consignment to regular retail clothing stores as I always find some treasures hidden amongst the bunch. Not always the best selling but great place to shop.

High end consignment store, low end management. Don't treat their staff properly and belittle them for trying their best. Can't stand the entitlement of the management at this location.

Fantastic selection of designer pieces at pretty good prices— just wish they didnt change the “discount by colour” policy from back in the days.

This might be the most tony Turnabout of the whole chain. There are 2 store fronts, one dedicated to particularly posh offerings, like high end designer hand bags.
I'm less likely to find things at this location, I prefer the location near UBC, and my husband was disappointed that they don't carry men's furnishings.
Parking is very difficult here. There's a lot in back with limited space.

I had a small issue and contacted Joy, the owner of Turnabout who immediately emailed back and sorted things out - it turns out my problem happened at the Second Look store two doors away, but as I parked in the back, I had come into the wrong store. Joy was impressively fast to respond to my message and while she didn't need to, she also gave me some great advice on options of where to drop off my designer evening wear so it will go to a good cause. Just WOW!

No experience selling my clothes to them but LOVE buying from here. Great options and mostly look new! Absolute must try

Wish they’d tell you what items/brand they would take before I dragged a huge bag of my branded clothes and only to drag them back again, on foot!
The one girl didn’t even say sorry once, I’ll be less disappointed had she said something like “oh sorry we don’t take these brands”. High end consignment store, low end staff.

Fantastic selection of higher end consignment items! As a buyer, I can usually find something lovely to bring home. As a consigner.well, I've never been able to consign, no matter the quality, in-season-ness, or trendiness of my items. They've never accepted any of my items. Maybe I'll get lucky one day!
Love how each of the Turnabout stores is characteristic of the personality of each neighbourhood in which it's located.

Desugner clothes sold 2nd hand.every day they have a color ticket special, anywhere from 20 to 50% off last ticket price.depending on day.
Friendly and helpful as staff can be, without being obsequious or invasive.
Just fun and helpful and truly into their merch. Turnabout is lucky to have such great staff. You can also sell your designer clothes on consignment. I challenge you to leave with your cash.ha ha
It is virtually impossible to leave without a purchase!
Now.they have a home furnishings store. Right beside the clothing store.
Both stores have 2 floors of values and Stunning looks.
The owner is always there.she is wonderful.
These stores are jems. If your feeling down.you won't when you leave.they treat everyone like they sparkle. At the clothing store downstairs there are cappucinos on the house. The staff will make you one. Who does this?

They are doing something right when you consider how high rent is, and how many 2nd hand stores have closed!

I use to have a good experience years ago. Clothes were high end, and reasonable price. Now you see Very old smelly clothes, and so expensive i can go to Aritzia or lulu lemon and buy brand new for same place. It’s changed. Too expensive and smelly clothing.
