Wonderfully laid out with clean trails and picnic tables.
Great for a stroll or hike

Was a bit hard but that's not the parks fault. Very well maintained trails.
Lots to see in the forest and it is so quiet you can hear all the birds.

This park has a wonderful off leash dog park. Its a mixture of fields and trails for the dogs to explore and play in. It is one of the largest off leash parks I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend!

Hey everybody if you're looking for a Oasis in the middle of a crazy place where we live you ought to check this place out it's beautiful simply beautiful there's a lot of places to walk take your dog long pathways there's no old growth trees as far as I know electric parking wheelchair accessible and the pathway seem that could be easily traversed with a wheelchair so it's a beautiful yeah some places you can't hear the highway but nonetheless it's in the middle of the city so you got to expect something like that okay take care

I love the park but I don't like the off leash area. My dog ran up to a dog who was on a leash and the dog attacked in n my dog

Great loop to walk, ride and stroll.
There are some moderate to small hills waving up and down. At the north west corner of the main loof there is a path that crosses the road to a dog park and more!
Easy for walking with strollers.
Good for getting better at biking.
Lots of forest to enjoy.
Along the north side of the park the trail parallels the freeway, unfortunately it could be loud to some.

Good place to walk. Wish the fish hatchery was open. Saw a few salmon spawning as I walked over the bridge crossing the river.

Is awesome place to visit great for the kids also a great walk you can go with family it's really nice

Tynehead regional park is a place to visit with friends family and or on vacation it's out of the way of the city.and people who just want to relax and enjoy life while they can

Did a long walk through the park recently. Peaceful, beautiful, and a great place to escape to.

Church gathering ideal location & camping is available also. Been using this location many times truly like being in a forest but large open area to gather & coking facilities.

Great place for walks not crowded 4.8k open paved loop and lots of wooded paths as well lots of benches and picnic tables with conveniently placed washrooms

Its a really nice place to take the family on weekends! There are alot of restaurants nearby if you're wondering. Its seems very safe and I recommend it!

Great place to go to spend some time in nature they're always doing new developments in this place it's great

Pavement path, trees, shade, about an hour walk on the loop. You can hear the highway on your walk and there isn't a lot to look at. But it's good enough for a dog walk or stroll.

Beautiful place for bike ride as well as just a for a long jog/walk. There is lots of shade here to cool down during summer time. Also, a perfect hill climb for a beginner like myself.

Very nice. Shaded along the way. We took the cement path which was beautiful for rollerblading. You hit some spots where you can hear the traffic but otherwise it's a very peaceful trail.

First time for me and my sister to explore and to know the trail today. We forgot to pickup a map so we just keep walking around and just following some posted signs. Finally, we didn't get lost and able to get where we park. Definitely will go back for exploring more the trail.

This park has endless trails for you and your family and friends and dogs. It has the biggest fenced outdoor dog park that I have ever seen! There are many enterences to this park and it is big enough to get lost in for a few hours. No big hills and all trails are paved with crushed gravel.

Beautiful park just a short drive from home very dense forest so lots of shade on those hot afternoons. The sounds of the birds and the water are very peaceful, my only negative thing is the dog owners who have there dogs off leash along the trails and have no control of there pet.

It's a must place for dog owners. We come here every morning with my dog. We can see a bunch of dogs who are friendly enough to play with mine. It's a great place to get your puppies socialized.

Hands down one of the bes parks around. Its like stepping into a new world. If you need to get away but can't go far, this is the place.

If you own a EV there is 1 Fast Charge station run by BC Hydro.charge time limit 40 minutes. Good place to charge because it has a Tim Hortons kiosk and an Esso grab and go snacks. Esso gives PC Optimums if you collect them. Down side is there is only one charge station, non EV vehicles park in the EV stalls sometimes, and EV car owners stand around like hawks waiting their turn which can cause discomfort and pressure to leave early. For me the best time to charge is early morning.

Friendly people and doggos galore. The park is well maintained and clean, just watch out for the muddy pooches

This park is near my house, so I often visit here.
A thick forest is good for walking. But if you walk alone, it could be a little dangerous. I walked with a friend this week and there was someone who looked a little dangerous.

Beautiful location for walking/ hiking. I love the trails and very well taken care of park. I highly recommend this place!

Great trails. Never heard of leash optional before but it's fantastic! Love it. Also no bicycles in the park so don't have to worry about a bike screaming up behind me. Beautiful

We go here all the time for walks. Kids love the trails, especially at the Hatchery and The Hallow. Rain or shine, we go!

Greta place to train for runs. Have been running at this location for more than a year. Clean and consistent asphalt pavement. The clockwise gives a short steep downhill followed by a steady long low slope uphill all the way back. A good variation in slopes. The counter clockwise gives a long steady downhill followed by a short steep uphill. Has a washroom and parking area at the 172 street entrance. Paw buddies on leash.

Amazing place to go for a walk if you're looking for a quick nature getaway. Lots of trails as well as a paved perimeter trail. It has a very large dog park, but keep a close eye on your dog as they could easily take off on you! The salmon also go up the streams in the winter. Very clean washrooms located throughout the park and also has a few good areas to have a picnic. The trails are not difficult to walk with the odd small slope to climb.

This park isn't far from the city. Trail is quite easy. Nice and pieceful place. By the way, it's also a pollution monitoring area. So, please keep the park clean.

Beautiful park. The nature and fresh air feels amazing. Run, walk, picnic, whatever you want to do. The park is very clean. This park is good to relieve some stress! Walk your dog here because I am sure your dog will be happy! They have an off-leash area. I have been going to this park for more than 10 years and till this day I love it!

Tynehead is a perfect location for anyone wanting to share nature and a gentle walk with family or friends.

Great place for a nice and quiet walk, jog or bike ride. Smooth path so it's also good for rollerblading but bit hilly in spots.

Beautiful trail. A little inaccessible if you don't have a car but doable if you don't mind a bit of an extra walk. It's fairly quiet, even on a long weekend Saturday. Very peaceful. There's quite a bit of evidence that it's a wild space that gets a lot of animal activity.

Love this park. I've been bringing my dog here for 6 years. There's a 4.8km loop of the serpentine fields, or an offleash dog area across 168th, not to mention the hatchery. Expansive network of trails. There can be coyotes certain times of the year. If you have a small dog, best keep an eye on it, and keep it on leash especially in the open fields. I have been walking my dog and found a coyote about 50 feet from the pathway. It didn't do more than bark at us (my dog being big enough to ward off it advancing towards us) but its a good reminder that we share the forests with all sorts of wildlife.

This park is great for walking my small dog around, we love getting outside and escaping to tyne head. The amount of garbage sometimes concerns me with the wildlife though. Lets keep our parks clean:)

This is a great place for novice trail runners and leisure day hikers. The trail is very well maintained and well groomed. There is a short loop and long loop. It is also a great short hike for families with young children (even as young as stroller age - but there would be a few sections that the stroller would need to be lifted.) There is an off lease area for dogs (but you will run into dogs off lease on the regular trails because dog owners are the worst at following rules; am I right people? !) Other than the annoying dog owners, this place is great for the family or runners. No bikes allowed on the trails.

Love the dog park- it's large, has a loop around 2 big fields, a few side trails for the dogs to run through, bit of a walk down to the loop (5-10 min) but it's one of the best off leash dog parks that I've been to. There are on leash forest trails as well where there is a salmon spawning stream that goes through the park as well as a hatchery. Awesome little place. (No smoking in the park though)

One of my favourite places to walk. Well maintained. I often see staff working on the gravel paths. Wheelchair accessible - for the whole family!
