Big portions of fried chicken and liu rui fan. (Meat with rice). The liu rui fan could have used more sauce. The bubble tea had an artificial taste. Prices are relatively cheap though.

Ordered beef stew rice and hot and sour soup on another visit which were quite yummy. On trying the bbt again, I liked the milky tea and sweet taste.

Randomly dropped by for a snack. Didn’t expect to find such a gem! Their milky hot pot is such a unique flavour and for just under 16$ it was a sufficient amount of food for TWO people! Comes with a bowl of rice too! Great value, great flavour, convenient parking. Try it!

Small place, but it was good, I ordered lots of food because I took a friend there to share with her the Taiwanese cuisine. We had vegetarian hot pot and chicken nuggets and beef wrap, and at the end we ordered few bubble tea.
It's been a while, but all I can say is that when I stood up my tummy was hard like a rock, cause ate too much of good food. I let her take home the left over so her family can try too. She told me after her kids loved it. And I told her so did my tummy. It was a busy night, but the servers were nice and kind.

My teriyaki chicken fried rice turned into vegetable rice! Where did my teriyaki chicken go? I waited for 30 minutes, I had good experiences before, but not today. Very sad.

Wowza! Their milky hot pot broth is one of the best soup broths I’ve ever had. It’s super creamy and almost cheesy in taste. The personal hot pot had tons of hot pot items inside from veggies to fish balls and a protein choice (I went with lamb). It’s also affordable at about 16 dollars a hot pot.

Their bubble tea was delicious and better than most bubble tea shops as well. The taro slush with rainbow jelly and the red bean milk? Were both delicious and they used fresh red beans in the drink.

Worth returning for more.

My friends and I ordered the their fried chicken nuggets, kung pao chicken, pork and kimchi noodles, and teriyaki chicken fried rice. Food was perfect, the portions were really good for the price as well! I highly suggest you try this place. Servers were also very friendly but we did have to get up and ask them to get us water multiple times because the food was a bit spicy and we didn’t have any drinks.

Edit: The fried chicken was quite good even after a couple days. Maybe the flavor I got for the bbt (earl grey) was off, not how earl grey normally tastes.

I order their Combo B (Beef Noodle Soup and Egg Roll with a drink) for lunch at least once a week. Good value and plenty of parking, just avoid rush lunch hour and you will be fine.

Side note, price went from 15.7 to 17.8 within a couple months. But I guess such is the life for people living through interest hikes and inflation

I go to this place quite often since they are around the neighborhood. Small business in the shoppers drug mart complex. So parking is easy but it gets pretty full during lunch time on the weekends. Aside from that, i will get a parking spot without trouble. Food is good and affordable. I think the food quality is better than before. Bubble tea also pretty good. Winter melon tea, green tea, slush are pretty good. Fav food so far are their Beef noodles and tawainese popcorn chicken. Takoyaki fried rice, pork chop, kimchi hotpot are also good. They only have about 8-10 small tables. So during lunch and dinner time it gets pretty busy. Best time to go is earlier than usual lunch or dinner time.

Their drinks are really good and the owner is very nice! They let me order when they were already closing and let me pay the next time I came back, and today when I came back they gave me 2 drinks for the price of one! Awesome people and awesome place!

The service was quick and helpful. I ordered two bubble tea slush, which was a milky caramel machiato and a Taro ice cream slush.
They only accept cash and E-transfers are also welcome.
All in all GREAT! Definitely recommend, there is alot to choose from.

Fried chicken nuggets are the best Sitting arrangements are kinda congested. Stuffs are nice and friendly.

The place is horrible. I ordered the fried rice and the thing was not edible. I am giving the place a 1 star because I couldn’t give it a 0 (zero) star.

The happy hour set is really good with relatively low price. Quite a lot different choices on the menu too. I haven't tried their special drink yet but the ice green tea is really good.

Ordered "Shredded Lamb with Green Onion on Rice (葱爆羊肉饭) " from this restaurant via UberEats to support my local business from covid lockdown. I received my order and they used regular onions instead of GREEN onions. I have ordered this dish from many Taiwanese restaurants before and this is the first time a restaurant substitute green onion with cheaper onion (which has completely different taste). To make matter worse, the name of the dish clearly says GREEN onion. I understand it is hard time during covid. But cheaping out like this and also misleading customer is not the right way to do business. I am sorry but I'll be supporting other restaurants in the future instead.

I come from Taiwan, and this definitely does not taste Taiwanese at all. Some doesnt even have any taste. Extremely disappointed, do not recommend!

Good portion, reasonable price, and tastes good too but cash only if you go in person. Also parking available.

Went to this restaurant twice over the last month, I wish i live closer to visit more often. We ordered beef tendon noodle and stew port rice the first time. It was very delicious. Very big portion for the price. We visited the second time and got the two can dine combo. I really like their deep fried tofu, best ones i've tried in long time. Three of us spent less than $50 bucks (including tax and 20% tip), with drinks. Highly recommended. Owner/servers are very friendly and efficient even though there were lots of take out order. We will definitely come back!

The happy hour menu is good value! (only available on Saturdays after 5pm I think).
The salty chicken nugget is good.
The spicy pork & dried tofu stir fry is also good.
The beef shank/tendon noodle soup is soso, had better elsewhere.
The typhoon original hotpot is also soso. It's basic, nothing to write home about.

Dec 26,2020 7: 50pm: one of the washrooms ran out of hand soap, had to go to the one next door to get it (lame). Also, there was a huge cockroach. Good thing the waitor was brave enough to kill it! Applaud

Great food, awesome value, friendly staff.
Place is a bit small, but it's usually not that long a wait. One of the best places for BBT and Taiwanese food you'll ever find.

We loved our "happy hour" meals where our drinks came free with the meals. My partner got Takoyaki Fried Rice w/ Winter Melon Tea, and I got Kimchi Pork Fried Rice w/ Green Apple Green Tea. Our meals really went together — the sweet, mayonnaise-y takoyaki dish was incredible and quite different from the tangy, spicy kimchi dish. We also got some Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken, which is always good. We had a really nice time here.

The takoyaki fried rice reminds me of Myst japense fried rice! There were quite a lot of squid in the rice too!
Deep fried squid tentacles cant really go wrong. I like how the deep fried flour aint too thicc

Still using Styrofoam takeout containers. Increased $$ on some items but also shrunk the portion (wouldn't get their rolls/wraps again for the size/price). Food was still good. Saw staff wear gloves but same glove wiping tables & then touching uncovered straws they handed out. Hard time for procedures but hope this improves.

I went there to order a meal and they told us to come back in 15 minutes. When I got back there, they told me the item was not available. They asked me to reorder and DID NOT APOLOGIZE. It was a young guy with glasses. His manager beside him also said nothing. To me, customer service is just as important as food quality (the food is just average and not great). Do not go here if you want something done right!

Wish I could take my meal quicker than before I finished. Best Taiwanese food and friendly staff in the neighbourhood.

Clean and speedy service.
But I'm giving only 3 stars for 3 reasons:
In winter the place can be very cold, specially if seating close to the entrance.
I ordered the lunch special of the Beef noodle soup, but pieces of beef were quite chewy, difficult to eat.
The last thing is that they only take cash.

I might not go back there.

This place has really good chicken nuggets. That's all I ever get there. Super filling. Service is OK

Really filling and large combos. The main problem is everything kind of tastes the same and is too salty. For example, the salty-peppery chicken nuggets, house special chicken nuggets and teriyaki chicken all taste like overly salty, garlicky seasoning.

Not a bad place especially on the east side of Richmond. Food is alright and price is reasonable. Parking is the challenge. There are 15min, 30min, 60min and 3 hrs parking. They ticket often so watch where you park.

Used the coupon to visit here for the first time. Food selection and quality are actually pretty good. I would say it's on par with Strike on West Broadway. The service we received was not the best (thus one star off), but it's definitely good enough. I guess they improved it in the past weeks as I read some poor reviews from early days. For the price, and the quantity, and the taste, this is definitely a place we are going to come again and recommend to our friends.

I look forward to raising my review to 5 stars after more visits.

I think this place is actually quite decent for a bubble tea and food place. In fact I like it more than pearl castle and I think the prices are quite fair. More people should try this place for sure. One thing I do find less appealing is the service. Don’t get me wrong the servers were nice but they are very busy and aren’t the most efficient hosts I’ve seen or experienced. It does not look like they are slow so I’m not sure why it took more than 10minutes for them to clean a table for us to sit at. They also forgot one of the pots we ordered and we had to ask them to check and they didn’t even say they forgot. Despite that they are nice enough and the drink was good enough for a food place so I would come back and I would recommend coming here to try for sure. They are better than a lot of the other Taiwanese places I’ve been to.

We actually passby this one at first time.but the drinks here are so good.specially the tofu drink.almost come here twice a week just for the tofu drink.it is literally better than itofu which is specialist for tofu.

Best bang for your buck bubble tea hands down. They also make really good fried rice. The service could be better, but I guess you can't have everything.

We ordered two typhoon chicken nuggets with rice. They made one order but forgot about the other and then charged us for two. We ordered first out of three tables and got our incomplete order last. The chicken nuggets tasted like average. Don't waste your time and money here.

Good quick service. Soup noodle was delicious but fried noodles a little too wet. BBT was good.

You get what you pay for. Reasonable prices for middle of the road food. Parking in the complex is tough.

We average buying about 5 cups of your bubble teas every day. I ordered 4 cups today with 2 -70% sugar and 1-50% sugar, no mark on the cup, and when I phoned you back the guy said he did put it in my order, but just forgot to mark on. But when we drink it, it was full sugar. Come on no need to lie to your vip customer, when I called back, they didn't even care. You loose a value customer, I won't shop again. Good luck!
