The badminton facility is a shitshow. For a university of 10,000 students there are 4 badminton courts. A lot of days they rent out these courts or reserve them for Intramural leagues. So the avg student who’s paid a bag of money to UBC cannot play at will.
They randomly have counting days where they limit entrants and put others on waitlists while not chucking people playing for hours. The staff aren’t helpful and are rigid on their rules. You’d think a university of repute has courts that are managed well.

A great place to visit in UBC as a student. There are many activities that can be done here. They have gym, badminton court, basketball court and volleyball court. I think many clubs are doing their activities here. Once in a while there will be free trial class as well.
