UFV Bookstore

The hours are awful. It is extremely hard when they are open for (a small amount of hours) are when most students will have classes and cannot go to the store. Not giving any other options for the materials that students need to get. Not being open on weekends are awful because the weekend is the only time most students are free. This review is not just me, it is with 80+ students who are also upset by this. Please add to your hours so students can actually come to the bookstore and get our books or supplies.

The people here are super friendly! I couldn't make up my mind between the different certificate frames and one of the ladies offered to merge two frames together by taking it apart and mixing the parts together.
The selection of swag is amazing as well, they literally have everything you can think of UFV branded. The only thing that sucks is the price but you have to expect that from a gift shop style shop.

Only convenient for 100/200 level CMNS/CIS books, everything else is a wash after that. 300/400 level CMNS/CIS books is like hunting for the holy grail. Prices are terrible but that is not news to anyone.

I bought a $80 etext from the bookstore, I followed all the correct instructions for installing it and then Adobe was unable to read the installation. Contacted customer support at the bookstore and they were no help, didnt even give me a call back after i personally went in kindly asking for a refund as i cant even USE or OPEN the etext.instead they told me to contact the publisher Pearson (who doesnt give third party refunds btw). So thanks bookstore for having me waste $80 on a etext your selling that doesnt even work, and terrible customer service who doesn't contact you or bother to give you a partial refund

Friendly staff. Very organized shelves. Textbooks are quite over priced. They also sell binders, pens, presentation materials etc.
