This place is one of few places in Vancouver that really has a soul and it's so cozy. It feels like one of those meals that someone's loving grandma would prepare for you, every thing we had was delicious highly recommended

We rarely go to a restaurant, we like the food, I would like to mention the work of a girl from Kazakhstan. She is always very nice and can carry on a conversation. Excellent service, the girl is great and does a good job

Great location, really good food. I recommend the vegetarian dinner (it’s two vegetarian cabbage rolls, and six Perogies)
My parents had the Ukrainian dinner which had two beef cabbage rolls, a sausage and 6 Perogies).

The location is perfect, close to transit and walking. I highly recommend visiting here.

The Ukrainian dinner is amazing value and everything tasted amazing. I've had it multiple times and enjoy it every time.

It was my first time trying Ukrainian Cuisine and it was amazing. The food is so tasty and it was very fast service, even tho we went when it was about to close, the service was nice and the waitress gave us some recommendations. If it’s your first time i recommend you the Ukrainian Dinner and Pierogi. The prices are a little bit high but I think is worth it because portions are big and the food is very good. I will definitely come back!

The Ukrainian Sausage was exceptional, as were the perogies. I've consumed my weight in sausage but none were better than the Ukrainian Sausage. Very lean, very smokey, very delicious!

Food was decently cooked but no attempt was made to spice anything properly. I got the lamb shank and it was pretty flavorless other than the base lamb flavor, the side dish was also very bland.

The waiter was polite and efficient, we left a tip for her good service but not for the food. Also over heard customer next to use who claimed to be Ukrainian saying the food was also way too bland and didn't come across as authentic.

Support local restaurants and i love to support Ukrainian business. Thank you for you good food.

I miss Ukrainian food always and forever, so anytime someone goes to Van, I have them deliver it for me. This place has the best borscht ever (not sweet but savoury and with beef - best meat option for borscht). Only thing that beats it (for me anyway) is my mom's. I dined in once, this place is small but cozy, reminds me of home.

So, I am not a fan of pickled herrings or other weird Ukrainian/Russian dishes, but I do appreciate a good perogy and cabbage roll! Both the perogies and the cabbage rolls are amazing here, I just wish the portions were a bit larger for the money. After all, the ingredients for this kind of food are not overly expensive.

Such an exceptional experinece we had here. Very healthy food and fantastic, kind waitress. Won't ever forget how warm, cozy and convenient was inside.

We tried grandma garden salad with olive oil as side which was awesome. Fried onion and beef straganoff were a great match.
And even more delightful was the authentic dishes.

Great Ukraine/Polish food. Just like our Babci would make. We had pierogi and Lamb Shank. Delicious. Would have given 5 stars except for wine pour.
Very skimpy on wine pour. Your getting 2 shot glasses of wine. 1/2 Liter is better choice if you like a fuller glass.

This restaurant is so special. The staff and owner are beautiful. I tried their perogies and I loved them, they tasted fresh like they were prepared with good quality ingredients. The sauerkraut ones were very delicious. I recommend dining inside the restaurant to feel the full experience (the place is also beautifully decorated and feels super peaceful to be in). Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Picked up cabbage rolls and perogies to take home. Best cabbage roll I've ever had. Will eat in next time I go, cute little place and staff were great and friendly. Please support this wonderful place.

The pictures of the food looks amazing! The Ukrainian Dinner was what I was going to order, Until I realized it's in freaking freaking Canada!

I really love the vegetarian Borst soup! I think I would definitely have 3 bowls the next time I'm here! Also please keep in mind you'll have to wait and be patient because they are understaffed at the moment inside the kitchen and also the front line staff. The man who was serving today he's quite overwhelmed with orders but he's very very nice and trying his best.

Today we ordered ukrainian dinner, borsch, lamb shank and salad olivye. Everything was great! Plates were too full. Service was friendly and caring. This is a place where I would definitely want to go again. Thank you for everything ️

Absolutely Love this restaurant). So many different dinner items to choose from! Their Cabbage rolls are to die for! My sister and I really love the restaurant and the table service is great too! Enjoy yourself just as much as me & my sister do:)!

Everything on the menu reminds me of home cooked meals from my Polish family kitchen. Lunch special is great value and it’s a perfect spot to get away from the downtown hustle and bustle. Cozy AF.

The food was delicious, I really enjoyed their pierogies. Having grown up with lots of Ukranian folks and in a town where pierogies were on the menu at every diner, this felt just like coming home.

It irked me that their bottled pop costs more than the cans, but has much less fluid in them.

Excellent Ukrainian/Eastern European food. I came in and got the Chicken Paprika and it was excellent. Really tasty. Good portion size. The service was friendly too! Some people have unfairly given poor reviews to the restaurant because the server couldn't serve them since they didn't have the BC Vaccination card. Don't blame the restaurant or the server for this. She's just following the rules. That has nothing to do with the quality of the food or the restaurant experience here. Some restaurants not following the rule have been caught and heavily fined. Anyway, I highly recommend you give Ukrainian Vilage a try if you like homemade quality, Eastern European food.

I drove by this restaurant and decided to order delivery. We had the chicken schnitzel and the Ukrainian dinner. Wow - it was really really good! Great portion size and it is simply delicious homecooked soul food. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Lovely meal, lovely ambiance and some killer Eastern European tunes. Our server was very sweet and the perofies were delicious. Will definitely be back.

The staff is really mean, one of the guy is really disrespectful. I am an uber driver i usually pick order from this restaurant but last time they abused me. I am definitely not going to this place. It doesn’t even deserve one star.

Won`t be back. Rude service, the portions of food were cold. When I asked to change, request was ignored. The place is so dirty and has dust inside. No social distance at all, the server was not wearing the mask. Please avoid this place people and stay safe!

Home made style ukrainian food. Authentic and welcoming place with super abundant and delicious food.

The food is delicious! We got the Ukrainian Dinner and Lamb Shank-both of which I highly recommend. Their mustard-wasabi has a taste that would make you want to come back.

Amazing dishes, had the Borscht and Salad Olivier, and reminded me of my Mother's Armenian home cooking! Thanks for a Great Lunch.

Came in for a late lunch and arrived during happy hour. We were the only ones there.

We had the stuffed cabbage, potato and cheddar pierogi, and the solyanka soup.

Service was quick and friendly and the food was tasty.

Definitely will be coming back to try more.

As a Ukrainian I do miss Ukrainian home cooking. I like going to Ukrainian Village for my fix of good Ukrainian food.

Doesn't really feel like a Ukrainian restaurant. The waiter spoke Russian (when addressed in Ukrainian) and was rude. Food seems to have been reheated and not fresh.

Ordered the paprika chicken which was very bland. The service was poor with bad attitude from the server. Would not recommend it

Finally there us unique pisitiveness about patrons clients bleachers ballet instructors a pharmacist next to me.a nother couple apparently have children restaurant a type of crowd really uplifting v some clients and kitchen staff when they smile the whole universe is smiling back as a bright morning in canary islands.

Jan 31st 2020, there was a mouse running around, the waiter didn’t seem surprised at all and did nothing about it.

The best place for post-soviet cuisine in town. The interior is somewhat unimpressive, but the food is top notch. We tried Olivier (Russian salad), pelmeni and Chicken Kiev and all of these were perfect.

Food was pretty good, great comfort food. Service was alright as well. I ordered the perogies and cabbage roll. The roll was a little lacking but very full.

This place is great, food is hand made and taste even better! Great service and fast. Ordered all the food from the Ukrainian side of the menu and took some back to the hotel. Place has a great price and made me think of grandmother!

Delicious vegetarian food and huge portions! Waiter was clearly very busy, but was very pleasant. Decor is very traditional and cosy, nice atmosphere. Perogies were amazing!

Very disappointing encounter with a young staffer claiming to be a manager. His rude attitude and inattentive service trigger our walking out. We are regulars but no more. The place is usually welcoming and friendly but not this time. Epic service fail.

Arrived to an empty restuarant on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the roast duck then listened to the microwave door slam, then beep letting me know my dinner was on its way. It arrived in front of me a moment later missing the vegetables and roasted apples that the menu had promised. The duck was ok but the meal was generally lacking in any flavor.
