Uncle Dave's Pizzeria

Addition: it's been 5 years now since we had to move away from Vernon, and we miss this pizza terribly. Still have not found any pizza that compares. It's very sad.for us anyway.

Best pizza I've ever had! We have tried most of the pizza places in Vernon and although there are decent ones out there, none of them have yet been close to as amazing as Dave's. Whenever we have a craving for pizza - that's where we go.no messing around. We live about 25 min away, and will always make that drive, even though there is a pizza place not 5 min from us. Been a loyal customer for 4 years now. Thanks Dave!

Went there this week for the first time and won't be back. Service was nice, but the Pizza is the worst we've ever had. Tastes like a bland frozen pizza. Actually, frozen pizza is better than this. Way too much cheese, dough looked raw. We ate a few slices because we were hungry and took the leftovers with us out of courtesy. Threw them away and regret spending $40 for two pizzas.

Service was excellent. The owner can be a bit loud and is outspoken which might not be welcomed by some but he makes a mean pizza. I know him well and he doesn't bother me. Pizza is always fresh and the prices are very reasonable.

Overpriced, poor service. Generally somewhere one should avoid if they want to enjoy their food.

This is my 92nd eatery in Vernon and Coldstream in my quest to eat at 150+ eateries in town. I had Uncle Dave's pizza about twenty-two years ago because my best friend and his mom (neither of which I no longer speak to) frequently ordered Uncle Dave's when I went over to his house.

Some of my friends have worked here. I'm sure they brought Uncle Dave's, but I have never remembered the taste.

So alas, today, I dined in.

Leslie was a fantastic server. I ordered a veggie pizza but swapped out tomatoes for jalapeños. I was given a jug of water and I could use two different types of hot sauce while eating.

My total came to $20.53 for a small veggie pizza after tax and a 15 percent tip.

I didn't realize they did other pub staples here and had TVs to watch sports.

The pizza tasted great. The dough was a bit on the hard side, but I know many people don't like soft dough.

First time trying this place, and wouldn’t recommend to others. Dry and overly sweet crust, under-sauced and minimal toppings for close to $60 with tip. Tasted like a freezer aisle pizza.

Friendly service and a cool little space kept it from a 1star review, but that might be the worst pizza I’ve ever had.

Sorry to the place, seemed like nice people, but you gotta do better than that.

Awesome cute little shop.love the food and the atmosphere would definitely recommend. I will be going back for sure
