Uncle Moe's Donair

This is a great place for donairs wraps and plates. The owner is pretty nice. The food tastes amazing and affordable. A little gem in Port Coquitlam.

The service was a bit slow for a donair spot but once we got our food we were very happy! The sauces were flavorful. Definitely get half fries half rice.

The beef platter is delicious! Very friendly staff and great portions.

My partner got a donair with lamb, beef and chicken. It was huge and couldn't even finish it.

I recommend this place, it's our new spot for donairs!

Quality not same as 2022. This time I ordered Chicken Wrap. I realized it was bit more drier and less sauce. Also felt that I was overcharged. $10 for a Chicken Wrap?
If not wrong your menu displayed $9.29 and if I add in GST I would expect $9.75 after taxes but was charged $10 (before tips). I understand everyone feels inflation pain but sometime greedflation can cost a business be it small or big corp. Please do improve your quality and be transparent with charges it helps build customer confidence - advice from a business owner.

It's incredibly good food. I'll come back. The donair, regular size, fed me for 2 days. A looot of meat, I ordered the mix. It's definitely a go to.

A gem.

This was our first time trying Uncle Moe's and we had such a great experience. We were warmly welcomed by every face in there, each person said hello with a smile. The lady behind the counter (I'm assuming the owner?) welcomed us as if we were long-time customers and because of this we instantly knew the food here would be made with love. The atmosphere was very warm and family-oriented. It makes you feel like you're in a safe space and it is very comfortable in there.

We ordered the donair combos, I had beef with everything and all sauces and my partner had chicken with everything but no hot sauce. The combos came with fries and a can of pop.

These are some of the best donairs we've ever eaten! And they were huge! The beef and the chicken were season nicely and they were very juicy and fresh. They load it up with meat! The vegetables were fresh, crunchy, and juicy.it was pleasant. And the sauces were flavourful and delicious. They put just the right amount of everything in these donairs, all of the flavours balance out perfectly.

The fries are their own catagory- they are so fresh and crispy! Wow! No seasoning or salt is needed on these fries, they are delicious by themselves. We did, however, put the last few bites of our donairs into the fries and mixed it up. And it was a fantastic combination. Highly recommend.
We will be back to try the poutine when we are in the area.

My partner has their heart set on 1 donair place in vancouver as their all-time favorite but they said Uncle Moe's is easily the next pick. As for myself, I say Uncle Moe's has the best donair.

All in all I would highly recommend this place to any donair lover, you will not be disappointed in any aspect! 5 stars all across the board. Good job guys, thank you so much for the hospitality and delicious, filing food. We will be back.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because one time I said not spicy. The red sauce tasted more like hot spicy sriracha. Normally it tastes like a slightly spicy tomato sauce at other Donaire places with a little bit more flavour and less spicy content. In regards to the red sauce I'm going to give some advice. The red sauce can either make or break a donair. Given that there's no competition to be more spicy flavour is definitely a more of an important objective. Make your red sauce a little less spicy and more flavour. Your sweet sauce is amazing!

Great donairs here! Fresh veggies and meat. Generous portions. Did not feel gross and bloated after eating it as I often do from donair. Had the regular chicken donair. I would go here again for sure. High quality and didn't get all soggy even though they put a good amount of sauce on. Very kind people as well and hygienic food handling.

The chicken is being heated up in a pan after its being sliced from a cold, previouly rotating spit.so its far from being fresh, and the taste is accordingly. Obviously, it's light years from tasting good.

Food was excellent. Portions were very generous. Prices were super reasonable. Every single person working was so nice and pleasant. Will be coming back so many times!

Zuzu is always sweet and welcoming and they can’t be beat on value! Great price for a tasty and filling donair, I eat here once or twice a week! Perfect lunch spot.

The owners are very welcoming and acknowledge customers and drivers well. Food preparation time is swift for a small family business. The greek salad, however needs more sauce. It tastes healthy as is, but I dont mind more flavour than just tomato, cucumber and lettuce.

I'm sad I can't give an extra star, because this place is our new go-to spot for awesome donairs. I haven't met such heavily-filled wraps like these for a long, long time. Everything was on point. I'll be back soon.

This restaurant single handedly made me enjoy Donair food. Good portions thatll fill you up, delicious flavors and good prices. The staff is also very nice.

Came here for the ratings and as always went away disappointed. $13 for a plate that was mostly filled with rice. Edible with small portions of sliced meat. Very hard to want to come back.

The owner was easy to talk to and clearly appreciates his customers and their orders. Hummous tasted good and the rice platter was good as well.

Family run business serving the local community with great service. They have a nice selection of Donner with veg and non veg options.

We really enjoyed our wraps and rice dishes.

If passing through this town or live around it then definitely try it and you wont be disappointed.

Best donair I have ever have. In town on business and saw it driving by and want a donair. Did not disappoint, so generous on the meat and veggies and the service was second to none. Definitely stop in to this place, you will be glad you did.

This place rocks my socks off.
Super great value and amazing food. 13 dollars for a meal that's almost enough for 2. It feeds me for 2 meals which is great as a starving artist.
My favorite is the lamb platter with extra spicy sauce!

This place is a gem! The family that runs it is Persian and they must have added their touch into what is traditional Arabic cuisine, and it's amazing! Their (basmati dill) rice with the meats.so tasty. Their meat is succulent (many places serve them dry) and full of flavor, uncompromised. I also tried their Falafel wrap and also Lamb wrap. Fantastic. They are lighter in sauces than other stores but the flavor is just so darn good, and juicy at the same time. Ok, I prefer a traditional Levant style hummus but other than that, this place is a must go for me. Thank you for blessing us with the food you serve.

I ate the lamb wrap the next day and it wasn't mushy. The pita is still dry and not soggy. In fact, the whole wrap is intact and I could cut it in half easily, and the best part - the veggies were still crisp. And the donair meat is still moist. Wow, it even passed the morning after test. That's impressive.

Delicious food with great service. I've been a few times just in the last month and never disappointed. The meat portions are definitely filling for a big eater like myself. Their sides are great compliments

This place is pretty close to the mall. But I would definitely eat here instead! Excellent food & the best donair I’ve had in Coquitlam.

Absolutely delicious. Wife and I came here for a quick bite. The owner was very friendly and welcome. The servings are generous and totally worth it! The hummus was amazing.

My wife and I got a meal from Mo's for the first time today. We had two platters. Just finished eating and we are both very impressed and full. I made the comment that we usually get a meal like this at a good restaurant. Price was great for what we got.and we both agree this place will be on our go to list.

I am on shawarma binge these days. We ordered two large lamb wrap from here. They were fulfilling, impeccably packed with lots of meat. We were both full after. Will most definitely be going back again and again and again. Love supporting local business in these tough times

Best Donair! This place does not skimp on ingredients. The meat is so flavorful and the ingredients they use are so fresh! My favorite! The owners are very friendly as well.

Moe's donairs are always fresh and delicious. They definitely taste different from every other place out there and the prices are fair, not too much. Plus Moe seems like a nice guy, gives great service and has a clean shop. I'm glad I tried his donairs, I've been back many times since. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven't been before.

What a gem of a place! Soo goood! This small local eatery really does feel like it's your uncle down the block making you a nice meal to go. In Europe, this would be considered a higher class kebab. I had the mixed plate with chicken, lamb and pork; the chicken Donair wrap, and poutine. We are definitely going back to try everything on the menu.

Absolutely the best Donair in BC! I've tried so many places but this place hands down is best! Great prices and huge portions, the proteins is never dry and everything is consistent! The only thing is you will get thirsty afterwards could be the msg or salt who knows but just try it you won't be disappointed!

I love this place. I get so excited when my husband brings home the beef plate. It's just too good! For lunch today, we ordered 3 chicken, 1 lamb and 1 beef for his parents to try and they loved it. We will keep coming back.

UNCLE MOE, YOU'RE A GENIUS! My friend and I ordered from here for the very first time yesterday evening through Uber and we were so excited! He got the chicken platter and I got the mixed platter. Portions were generous, the flavour of every single thing on the platter was great, even down to their tzatziki. I also think it's nice that they have an option to do half rice, half fries for a small additional cost. Also, these fries are like the Costco fries - I loved them! My roommate and I have been to a great many donair places in Port Coquitlam and this one is clearly at the top. Another note on the portions - I'm a 100lb person and I'll be getting at least two meals out of my mixed platter. If you're really into large amounts of meat, 100% order the mixed over the singular meat platters. Fantastic place, highly recommend.

The lamb plate was fresh and delicious, the people working there were warm and friendly. I don’t live in PoCO but I will definitely come back to Uncle Moe’s.

Uncle Moe's is one of those mom and pop home made food kind of places that won't let you down! The meat is so very flavourful and the home made sauces are to die for. They always serve their plates with fresh hummus and moist pita and the prices are so low you just can't beat em! I drive up from Vancouver every now and then because they're literally the best donair place in BC that I know of so far!

Delicious food, good sized portions all well priced. Staff is very friendly and takes orders over the phone for pick up.

The falafels here are truly unique. Owner from Iran is usually behind the counter and very friendly. Fairly large portions here for what you get. I highly recommend this place.

My husband took me here and I've been back ever since. Ingredients are fresh and tasty and portions are big and prices are more then reasonable.

I have eaten here a lot.there food is always consistently good as well as their prices. You must try their mix lamb and chicken Donaire poutine with all the sauces including tzatziki.

Always such a tasty experience every time I go. The portions are amazing. You will not leave hungry that is for sure. The mix plate is massive and has so much protein. Such awesome flavors. I highly recommend.

Best donair I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of them! Meant to take a picture, but ate it way too fast. Sauces are all delicious, the lamb and chicken are both perfectly seasoned and most importantly juicy! Uncle Moe is very friendly to top it all off. Would definitely come back.

Review edit: really balanced Donairs. The meat to veg to sauce ratio is so important, and they consistently get it right. I recently got one with fries in it and it turned out to be a treat! Really good addition. Plus the panini press really is a great addition.
