It's really exaggerated, the price is more expensive than a Michelin restaurant. Just two dishes plus tip are over two hundred dollars. Please close it early, it's so deceptive. The taste is mediocre, not as spicy as Sichuan food, but the price is sky-high. This is the first time I have seen Chinese food at this price in Vancouver.

The Sichuan pepper chicken is very delicious, and the cold noodles are also delicious. Will be back to try more.

The food is ok but the restaurant inside is super hot and the tables are so crowded, basically no space or privacy between customers.

We love it here! The food is good, and so is the service. 钵钵鸡 tastes AMAZING! Absolutely very authentic and flavory. It is my top 1 choice and definitely recommend it. Would go back again 100%

Today I just dined in this restaurant. I had a very awful experience which I want to share.
The food is ok. But the attitude of waitress who wore a black mask is extremely unacceptable.

I dined with a female friend who I just met today. After I paid for the bill, the waitress directly rushed to my face, asking loudly why I did not tip them, which, as I supposed, is extremely rude, especially when I was with a female friend who I just met today. To be honest, if you want to know the reason why I did not tip, we could talk privately, rather than talking in a very loudly voice in front of all the other customs and my female friend.

I hope the owner may consider this fact and I will never dine at this restaurant again.

By the way, the reason I did not tip is
First, I had to pack the left food myself with no assistance from any waitresses. The waitress only passed me a pack box. She did not bring any tool to pack. So I had to use my own chopsticks to pack the food myself.
Second, our water cups were empty all the time. No one have ever asked If we need more water. We have to eat dry, cold and spicy Sichuan food with no water.

Conclusion: No one cares about how we think about the food. They only care about tips.

I visited this restaurant before Covid when I was still in college. After 3 years, I visited here again. As good as what I remembered, will continuing support your business. Decent flavour as always

I haven’t tried the ramen so don’t know how it is. But the actual Sichuan food is A M A ZING. Best Dan Dan Mian I’ve had outside of Chengdu.

Uncle Pu's is a little Sichuanese restaurant run by a nice family. The language barrier was a little bit of an issue when ordering here because only the young children of the owner spoke english. I had ordered the braised beef yam noodle soup, which was suppose to come with peanut. I had inquired about it, but nobody really seemed to understand the issue, so I let it slide.

The soup itself was quite tasty and the beef was terrific, however I wish they would ask how spicy/how much numbing pepper you would like. My soup tasted great, but I couldn't actually finish my meal due to the very liberal use of spicy chilli oil and substantial numbing pepper.

I would recommend coming here if you speak mandarin, just so you can make your order more clear. I can imagine that if you had any dietary restrictions it would be difficult to ensure that message is conveyed to the kitchen.
