Was promised a refund of my tip at approx $65 and was advised to reach out. I have emailed you 4 times replying back to the address you sent me the review request from. If this is not a valid email address please provide one and I will email that with my request.

Walked in for what I was expecting to be $150 + tax/tip for foils. I walked out with a bill for $262.50 before tip (which I gave at 20% out of habit and prompted by the machine). Total spent was $315.

I was told the total was for foils as well as full head colour.

I did not ask for full head colour. I asked for full head foils, alternating blonde and a medium/dark brown in colours that were specifically chosen out of their colour book.

She did ALL blonde foils then "painted" the rest of the hair with a mix of product. She didn't use the brown I had asked for but created her own colour, which she told me when I asked for the # of the colour she used and she didn't have one to give me.

I was not told what she was doing was considered full head colour. I wasn't given the option to say yes or no, she just did it without asking. I assumed it was an alternate way of doing the brown foils.

It looked fine in the chair when she was done so I just paid and went home, not wanting to argue. However when I got home and had a closer look, the top of my hair looks red/orange (see picture) the sides and back have brown and there are various shades of blonde throughout. I am not at all happy with the end result after having another look at it.

You know its a bad dye job when your hair has obviously been coloured and not one person comments. I was so embarrassed to see people the next time I went to work after this was done.

To your potential customers, a word of advice. Make sure you confirm what they are charging before they proceed and watch and question what they are doing so they don't force services on you that you didn't ask for.

I had an issue there a few years ago that required colour correction and this is the second time I've had a bad colour job at your salon. 2 for 2 bad results. As I'm not wanting a third issue I don't want to go back to have her try to fix it.

The cost of the foils plus tax = $157.50 - this is what I should have been charged

As I paid $315, the reimbursement would be $315 less $157.50 for the foils =$157.50

Please reply back as to how we can make arrangements for reimbursement of $157.50.

I called late on a Saturday afternoon of a long weekend to see if I could get an appointment for cut & style that day. To my surprise and delight Maryam was able to see me. She greeted me genuinely, assisted in hanging up my jacket then listened to what I wanted. She made suggestions, asked questions and even showed me how to work my new cut after I went home. I left the salon feeling wonderful. When I got home I looked up the new vegan product I had purchased and found Unique Hair Salon had priced it well.

Fariba did a great job with my hair cut. She gave me exactly what I wanted and the layers were awesome. And Maryam did my eyebrows very nicely. She didn’t make them too thin and shaped then beautifully. Definitely recommend!

I wish they post their real prices on their website. I booked an appointment with Mary online, and the price for cut and style was mentioned 45$ (not even saying starting at 45).
I was charged 65$ before taxes and the tip. I did not pay attention there to the increased price, however the next day I texted her about the pricing and she replied back that they have three prices 45 for short hair, 55 for medium and 65 for long hair. As a business owner, I know how misleading it is not to mention your real prices during the booking process online, and later charge people a higher price. To be fair, after a few messages she offered me a free eyebrow shaping session, which I appreciate but I don't need it and I will not go back there.
All it takes is transparency and honesty with customers to have a successful business. I hope they reflect their real prices on the website in the future to avoid misunderstandings.

Came here for a hair cut and explained to Mojgan the problem I have with allergies to hair dye she said she had a product I could use. She did a patch test and no reaction! I went back a week later to get a full colour done. Morjgan was very attentive to make sure there were no reactions, explained an after colour treatment, and applied it. Mary is a professional stylist with over 20 years of experience. I got my highlights done from her, which looked amazing. She has given me great advice on how to better the hair care routine. I had my eyeliner done and ended up in emergency with scratched corneas and multiple small slits to eyes. I have been under the care of an ophthalmologist. The pain is excruciating! Of course she denied any wrongdoing! I am praying I will not end up wyan infection as well

Faribah was absolutely incredible. I got the straightening treatment done with her, and I could not be happier. She made sure to use all the best supplies, and took her time. My hair is very long and full and it took a lot of effort, she made me feel welcomed and very happy throughout the process. I waited a few weeks to write this review, to see how the treatment would hold up, and as I expected it is wonderful. She is very skilled and professional, and works with only the very best supplies. I went to see Mary for my eyebrows, eye liner and lips. My face has been completely transformed to make me beautiful. I definitely feel more confident. Mary has an eye for what she does. The greatest thing about permanent makeup is that I wake up looking put together, when I come out of the pool, shower etc. Maryum fixed my eyebrows that were not done well by another person who does eyebrows and when I asked her to touch up certain spots she was very prompt to touch up spots that need it during routine touch ups. She listened to me and made me feel happy when I left. If I was a new client I would not hesitate to book a session with Mary. She does an amazing job.

When I went for a touch up today Mary fixed my hair for me. I will be going to see her soon for my hair. I am really happy I found Maryum to help me with my beauty needs!
