Hello UCW, last year have been great and we look forward to your continuous support, I work in one of the Education Consultancy and we have almost 10 students for July intake. "Inquiries and thoughts from the students" I know UCW is a private university (for-profit). Moreover, does an international student who study at Canada graduated from UCW eligible for TR/PR? This is because our students are concerned if they really are eligible or not.:) please shed some light. Thank you.looking for fruitful collaborations ahead.

Most pathetic university. Better not do any course than joining this university. That have professors that don’t care about students and education per se. Their employees and academic advising team is the most insensitive. Their response time is bad and they have nothing to offer to students. Everything is just to keep their status intact for regulatory authorities.
If you are coming to this university expecting you will make some career out of this, then don’t join here.

Hello! I havn't received my offer letter yet for an MBA program. It's been a month now. It still shows that application is under process so, may i know how much time does UCW take in processing admission and providing initial offer letter?

This Univeristy Canada West is nothing but a scam. Let me tell you few things before you participate in any of this private colleges or Univeristy like Univeristy Canada west.

Univeristy Canada West or UCW will keep your deposit of $7900 as non refundable which they keep it for nothing. There policy clearly says that they will return your 100% deposit if your visa is denied by IRCC or Immigration Canada. This amount of $7900 is 100% non refundable if you a visa to enter Canada. Technically this organization is charging this amount as there fees for getting you a visa and they know that they can not use this word in their policy.

If you still want to enroll, come as a student then ask UCW to give you in writing that if you enroll in their University, pay them 50% of the total fees, enter Canada and suddenly you don't like this college for any reason, trust me guys you will loose your money. Ask them to give you in wiritng that they will refund you your money in case you don't like their college. Do not take there words only but you need this thing in wiriting.

Do not never ever get enroll and start your education before entering Canada. Once you start your online education you will loose the initial fees you pay them.

Education in India is 100% better and reasonable. You come here just with the dream that you will be making tons of money right away but this is not true. I had personal experience with UCW and they are nothing but they have open an organization where they can give you smile and rip you off. After MBA study in UCW you will not be able to get any good or decent job.

To pursue your career, study in your home country and finish your Bachelor's degree in some spezialized skill so you can pursue your career in real anywhere in the world.

I applied for intake january 2024.in how much days I can get my offer letter? Can I receive any suggestion?

As an international student, applying for colleges abroad has been quite stressful with regards to all the formalities. However, it’s been a real pleasure working with Miss Kashi Bai Patel. She has been an extremely supportive advisor who made my entire admission process extremely smooth and less stressful.

I had completed my studies in 2022, went to school on numerous occasions cause I was pregnant and the schedule date to
Attend my graduation I was expecting to have baby then, they email me and told me they would allow to attend graduation after my baby is born I went there 3 times and was told I will walk for July convocation, my family came from The Bahamas to attend my graduation I reached out again and BOTA who is in registrar office will then tell me I have paid for my graduation but can’t attend convocation even after family travel to attend, that is sooo misleading and unprofessional, communication is not good, and they are dishonest. I will not attend this university again in the future or recommend to anyone for what I’ve experienced

The worst university ever I graduated. Management is worst. After paying $44000 university still asking me 12000$ for fees payment. When I ask for what i need to pay 12000$? No appropriate response. Its almost 3 months. I am not able to work anymore not getting graduation letter. Everytime I went to university for complain. They tell me to go this department and that department. No one is listening my complain

Wonderful experience with admission process, Priyanka made everything very easy for me fast and helpful.

The university is notorious for its low reputation in IRCC, so the chances of getting visa is too low.

Its an honour for me to get enrolled in UCW. This business school not only provide excellent education however also present students scholarships. I recently received mail of my approved scholarship that would surely help me in my future. Most important the management members are doing their great job as well. Jashanpreet Singh sir helped me a lot in admission process as well as helped me with the scholarship concept. I accepted that he helped me to get enrolled in Ucw and got my first ever scholarship.

I applied for M. B. A course. Student advisory team and Mr. Sonar yadagiri chary helped me during my application process. He solves my daoubt. He gives me quickly answer whenever I need help. They do communication very smoothly.

From gaining admission to how helpful the student recruitment advisor was given me her name is Priyanka K, it was all phenomena.

I would always recommend this school and hope Priyanka meets such intending student, she was always willingly help and providing advice during some of the challenges I faced during the process of getting my conditional acceptance letter and when I eventually got the LOA.

I would like to mention one person’s who helped me throughout the admissions process when my own counsellors from MIM- Essay did not do anything to help me. It was Priyanka Vatti from University Canada West who helped in every step of the way and I really appreciate her kind and helpful nature. She was there to guide me and solve any problems that came.

Initial the team had messed it up but then a feedback session with Radhika & Bankim was arranged upon mailing them which ensured that their team jumped back on track after my feedback. Thanks to Bankim & team for the time & the initiative taken to figure out things. Way to go as well.

Student Support Experience: 1.25/5 (Roben, Swati)
Overall - Not so happy tbh. The info they shared had nothing to do with UCW or IRCC terms at times. Self-research was mandatory several times. I felt they had a bit of hesitation to push forward. In short, A roller coaster ride - sometimes dope & sometimes downhill. Problems I faced was - Mailing issue due to uncompressed attachments, Calling at wrong times instead of scheduled time agreed upon, Info shared mismatched with Pre-arrival session.

Admission Experience: 5/5 (Ivee, Mabel)
It was one of the finest admission experiences. Ivee & Mabel was brilliant. Great support & never failed me once. Every step felt like a piece of cake. All info was on point. Scheduled calls was perfect & in case of missed calls, I was mailed to confirm for a recall or for my convenience/availability (time difference is 13hours and 30Minutes between India & Canada).

Uner Turkmen, was assigned to me, immediately after filling the online form, I got a call from him within 24hrs and he guided me on the application process.

One week later, I got my admission letter.

He kept following up with me, till when last I contacted him and got an automated reply that he had left the organization.

However, Rasul Rawa has been another great guy helping me currently on the payment process as my new assigned Admission advisor.

I don't want to complain about the university itself, I'm MBA student but not active student, I delayed my semester, and now I have urgent family issue in my country, I booked a ticket to go back to my country cz it's tragic situation not even an urgent one. When I went to the university I asked them for refund request, the employer himself doesn't know what to do, he said that it's the university's policy that if ur visa is accepted, ur deposit isn't refundable!
Seriously! All designated institutions in Canada make refunds for urgent cases for their students. Moreover, I haven't enrolled to any course yet, and I have a family issue in my home, so I'm leaving the university for that reason. And when I wanted to show the employee there the ticket, he ddnt even want to have a look at it.
In addition, I told him I wanted to meet with ur supervisor, he said the supervisor isn't here, and I saw the supervisor is inside and students were in the supervisor's office!
I felt so disappointed! I will get my money back cz I need them not for fun, but for the family situation that I have rtn.
Even if it costs me to have a lawyer.

U should b more cooperative with students who have urgent cases!

I´ve been waiting more than 3 months for my acceptance letter. I tried to communicate in all posible ways with someone from the university but still i do not get any response. I had a very good experience with Ms. Priyanka Kumari. She was very warm, friendly and had a positive vibe. She responds our mails immediately, even during weekends. Thanks a lot for your support.

I choose UCW as my study option because they have flexible intakes and campus in Vancouver city, I filled the application for Oct 2022 intake online, UCW assigned a student advisor to process my application, her name is Ms. Shaik Sydabee. I got her email on 10th may and after couple of days she called me directly and explained about application process and steps to fellow to speed up the process. The conversation was so healthy that I stated to focus only UCW. I just followed her guidelines and in 1 week UCW admission team email updates on the application process. Within 2 weeks I got my offer letter for Oct 2022 intake with UAP. When I requested to waive the UAP, she guided me with that process too. On 25 July I was able to get my Direct MBA offer letter. All this happen because of good advice from my student advisor Ms. Sydabee.
Overall experience was excellent and hope the UCW tutors will be as good as their student advisor.

This university need to listen to their students and do something about it I have one class where the teacher just go and talk about his life and tell jokes that's all he does and at the end he just tell us what do we have to read and do this is like a joke and all the students on this class comment the same but at the end they don't say anything cause they are afraid the teacher will get mad and they will get in trouble passing the class

I'm disappointed with the university, I made my refund request and it was refused. At a time of pandemic where I can no longer afford school, I lost all my deposit without even having studied, where this money would be useful at a good time to pay other bills.: (: (:

I have submitted my refund request and waited 30 working days as their policy, however 30days has been gone nothing heard from them. When it comes to refund I can see in previous comments from the student they are worst on that. Even I sent couple of email to Finance department no reply. I have paid my initial deposit $7900 on time and my visa did not worked it out. I have submitted the required documents to process my refund but still no response. I must say your Finance Team should do their job properly. KINDLY REFUND OUR HARDLY EARN MONEY THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN JUGGLED AROUND

Assistance from college staff is excellent and they are always there whenever needed. Much appreciated and I loved the way they keep in touch with the student.

Hey there, I'm planning to join the University for January intake but all those negative reviews the University received are making me worried about my choice. Please let me know if this university is worth it for an undergraduate program like B.com.

Responses to my emails were very quick until I paid tuition deposit. It was a struggle to get a revised LOA and I have sent at leats 5 emails with no responses in the last 2 months concerning other issues. They also keep changing my student advisor. I'm currently on the 4th person I think. Only the first 2 responded to my emails. The others just send an introduction email and never reply when you send an email with questions.

Please read all the reviews about this school before you decide to enroll. My wife applied for the MBA program at UCW and we have submitted all the required documents on September 28,2021, only to find out 4 weeks after that my wife's Philippine 4 year bachelor degree is not equivalent to Canada and thus do not meet the entry requirement for the program. UCW should have seen the documents by the first week and made that assessment instead of waiting for 4 weeks that is lost. We should have looked for another schools instead, we kept on following up but they also say that my wife's documents are in order. There are also a lot of bad reviews for this school.

Awful admissions service! Lost two months of my time waiting for their admissions department to send me the acceptance letter. Week after week, every time I would ask I received nothing but lame excuses and an empty promise of getting the letter the following week. Now my toefl test expired and I will have to take it again to apply for another university. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a serious and organized institution!

I think anyone applying to this university has to know it is a private university that is quite liberal with who they let into their program as they are in business to make money. As someone who has conducted extensive amount of interviews with people who are either in or have graduated from this university they either don't prepare their students for the business world or are just letting anyone into their program that will pay their fees.

I would do deep research into the careers/jobs people get after graduating and if it will be worth the investment. But because they let almost anyone in that can pay their fees it Waters down the degree quite a bit.

Mr. Rawa Rasul was my advisor. He is super attentive and supported me all over the way, from the inquiry stage to enrollment. My journey with UCW was smooth, and I am satisfied with the service I received from Rawa and registrars. Rawa played a key role in aligning the university requirements and the challenges I faced with the visa application. As my point of contact with UCW, he helped me with all the available options; his experience and advice were the main reason I got my enrollment on time.

Please be careful with this university don't make the same mistakes and enroll into this institution please read other comments to see how bad is this university they really don't care about students only about your money

Overall the people that helped the most during my journey at UCW were Merit Omedo & Rawa Rashul. Both have been tremendously helpful and active in making my studies at UCW a reality. Aside from that, it is unfortunate that online students don’t get to have a live class where they are able to engage with classmates & ask lecturers questions. The support for online students is poor and lacks engagement.

Mosina is one of the best resource with UCW who not only helped me with queries and doubts but also helped with post enrollment afterwards.
Because of her i was able to smoothly transition into MBA with UCW.

I have applied for UCW MBA program more than 2 years ago, it was a tough and very long journey because of the pandemic but UCW student advisors were very helpful and cooperative specially Rawa Rasul who assisted me in every step of the way until I made it here. She was responsive and knowledgable which give me hope and comfort during the whole process.

To be honest, I had some doubts in regards to studying online but it was a nice experience and I learned a lot and it’s getting better now since we are back to compass.
