Unsworth Market

I’ve been to Unsworth Market before and now, after it has come under NEW Management. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised with the changes they have made. If you haven’t been there since March, when they took over, you gotta go! They have beautiful racks full of most food, cleaning, household, pet supplies and much more. MUNCHIES? This is the place to go. They got you covered. PLUS they are the nicest new owners ever. You won’t be disappointed! PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL

Wow this place was a really nice market. I wonder what happened? Now it's kinda of dumpy and overpriced! Not going there again.

Unsworth is under NEW management and you can tell! Lots of variety now in a clean and organized market. Family owned now and they are super friendly and helpful. So happy it’s just down the road.

As per other reviewers we cannot drop off a Purolator package even if the label is already on. The sign out front signs Purolator and the attendant inside on his phone totally ignoring me said they don't do it anymore. I told him the web site says they do and the sign out front says Purolator. I guess they are too busy or lazy to remove the sign. Purolator should also adjust its website. Pathetic directions and service.

If I could give lower than 0 stars I would, the woman that works there is absolutely rude and has no customer service. The store is unkept and unsanitary, if you want to get expired drinks rotten food, and the worst customer service experience this is the place. Highly DO NOT RECCOMEND anyone to shop here, this store should be shut down so a real store can open. The community deserves better.

Unsworth market has had some bad PR in recent years but the new owners are great, friendly, and always willing to help. They’re trying to build the store up into more of a deli/grocery and even have plans for a farmers market and want to sell local goods. If everyone in the area supported this business It could grow into a great hub for the community.

Went to pick up a parcel at this location. Parcel was not there, this was not the issue as not their fault. Pulling into parking lot, garbage in lot, flower beds more like weed beds. Walk in to get parcel, someone sleeping on couch behind counter. Parcels all over the place. Plus the lighting in this store is terrible. Taking some pride in your business will go a long way.

Had a relatively small parcel for Purolator 18x12x10. Wouldn't let me drop it. Said its to big. Very poor service.

Doesn't keep water stocked in the fridge. Price labels are not legible for some products. Dasani 1.5L is priced at about 3.49.

An poorly trained employee (or owner) will waste your precious time. Be careful.
I went to pick up my package that couldn't be delivered the previous day (of course, I had a note left by the delivery man and a text message asking me to pick up the package here) One of the two men checked the delivery on his computer and my package was delivered in front of my door. Why would the delivery man have left a note if the item had been delivered? So I said that's not true and showed him the text I received in the morning and asked him to check it again, and this time he said my item was in process.lol
I was speechless because it was ridiculous. Then another guy came and asked me my last name and found my package. This man who found my package looked pretty smart and kind.
But another guy, he has no will to solve the problem and is only thinking about how to avoid it. I hope you don't get caught by this @=>* man.

This was a great store before the new owners took possession. Now I'll never purchase there again. I bought 3 newspapers in a hurry, cost a few dollars each. When I get home I see only the top one was current and the two underneath are over a month old. So ya, no surprise that they were charging $30 for bacon during a local emergency. Shameful!

I would give this place zero stars if I could.
I Rented a U-Haul from here. The absolute worst costomer service ever. The owner is beyond rude, and just dismisses any consern you have and doesn't care. A 'give me your money and get the f* out of my face' mentally. I will never support this store in any way, shape, or form, and I highly recommend for your own sanity you don't either.

Terribly over priced, all of the items I got could’ve been around 8 dollars from a dollar store, or even a different corner store would’ve been cheaper. The customer service is terrible and they are silent until giving you your terrible price.

I had no issues getting my parcel from Purolator despite it being December 23 during a pandemic. Packages were stacked neatly by name and he was very polite and thorough, double checked ID and purolator tracking. Store side was clean and well stocked, pretty good prices for a convenience store cashier was a delight very friendly and welcoming.

Be aware that they will give you a very hard time if trying to pickup your Purolator parcels here that you've missed delivery on. Purolator's website clearly indicates that if you live at the same address as the addressee of the package that you can pick it up on their behalf. The male working inside refused to allow this. It was only after I called Purolator and requested them to call the store and inform them of the correct policy that they hesitantly released the parcel to me. This looks bad for Purolator and would prevent me from using them in the future, but for this parcel we were unable to choose who it shipped with unfortunately so had to deal with quite the hassle to get it.

Just so everyone is aware they are not actually open until 9pm. I arrived there at 8: 10pm to pickup my package only to find that the store was closed.

Ok corner store, it's what you'd expect for what it is. However the puralator stuff they do is honestly some of the worst service I have ever seen

Quant little shop off Keith Wilson road with h a nice selection of groceries and snacks for any and all needs! Be sure to pay it a visit if you're in the area!

I have had nothing but bad experiences having to deal with this place as a pulorator location. They stored a computer monitor I ordered in their grocery aisle which ended up being damaged when unboxed. When I received my replacement monitor under warranty it was also stored in an aisle. I am a photographer who invested a lot of money into that piece of equipment and to have it stored in an area where it could be so easily damaged or stolen is infuriating. I should have known better and sent the damaged monitor from a different percolator location, but I dropped it off here due to it being a minute from my house, and now I am receiving emails from the company saying they haven't received the return parcel and I will be charged for the missing monitor. When I went in to ask for information or if they had even shipped the monitor back, the owner just pointed at a 1800 number and dismissed me.

If you can help it, have your packages shipped elsewhere.

Would be a 0 if possible. Expecting a package to arrive that was shipped to Unsworth Market. Owner was rude over the phone, very unspecific and plain didn't care about my inquiry. Turning up to collect the package which was rather large (2 man job) he was again rude and wouldn't help me for the 20 second walk to the car. Terrible customer service, awful all round experience.

Went to pick up a Pkg that was sent overnight from Calgary AB. The gentleman that owns the business hung up on me multiple times when I tried asking him to see if the Pkg was in his possession. When we showed up he then said not till Tuesday. Despite the fact we paid almost $100 to have the Pkg for Saturday. Sure enough, 3 hours later it arrived and he called us without any apology or explanation to his lack of service. Avoid using this as a Pkg destination!

Worst customer service ever. Would not help send a parcel by purolator without a computer printed address. Told us to go elsewhere! Hard to understand. Do not do business here.

I made the mistake of trying to pick up a package after school. (2: 45pm)
1 person working and he served EVERY kid buying candy, even waiting for some that were milling about the store to purchase their stuff before he served me. Waited 20 min (not an exaggeration) to get my parcel and then he barely said a word to me, no smile, no acknowledgment of my presence really. I was VERY disappointed to say the least and I wish there was another option in Chilliwack for parcel pick up.

Was not helpful nor did he look for my package that was dropped off from Purolator. Told me to come back after the weekend and was quite rude. No goodbye or anything, wouldn't even humor me to look through the packages I could clearly see behind him, there was not many

Well over priced! Went down hill fast after the new owners started! To bed, will probably not return. Just go down the road there's save on foods and more!

Great little store! Good for picking up snacks or items you figure to pick up at the big stores.
