We went here by accident and so glad we did. We did a wine pairing and the lady was very nice. Wines ans cheese were great. Love the surrounding with the vineyard

This place is off the charts amazing. The wine, the food and especially Terry who makes you feel so welcome. She is so knowledgeable and an absolute asset to this amazing Winery and Creamery. Brovo!

The wines here were really dry, as someone who is not into dry wines, I loved everyone they served here. This wine tasting took nearly an hour & often felt like we were forgotten about, but pairing of the wines and cheese was a lot of fun.
The pizza here was amazing! However, in order to waive the $25 tasting fee, you need to purchase a minimum of $50. Which they pushed pretty hard, but makes a lot of sense if you love their wine. We bought a Riesling to enjoy with our pizza & would come back for the pizza itself!

While we didn’t have the opportunity to try their pizza, it appears to be a standout dish made with their own cheese.

The lady at the shop was incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to describe all the details of each product.

This is the worst winery i’ve ever been to.came for pizza and had the most unwelcoming service, the servers were talking about my group of 10 girls to eachother and were unaccomadating.wont take cash or split bills and tried to over charge us! Will never be back here

Knowledgeable and terrific service! Pizza was delish, wine and cheese tasting great, fee waived with purchase. The Estate Chardonnay is amazing! A definate go to!

I have been more there than once, as a fine young man, Landon, has made each time a gastronomically pleasure worth repeating. His product knowledge and his “foodieness” made the pair of wines, cheeses and pizza, a thing. Bravo Landon!

This was by FAR the worst winery experience for us in Naramata. We received three tiny pieces of cheese, and the wine was not great. The pizza was ok…We were charged for the tasting despite spending more than $80, and although the younger staff were quite pleasant, we found the other server a bit posh.

Very happy with our wine and cheese tasting. It was busy so service was a bit slow. Pizza was great as well

My husband and I found the staff at Upper Bench Winery's are incredibly helpful especially Landon. He asked me what I was looking for, what kind of budget I had and what I liked & disliked for taste, sweetness, dryness texture. I was very impressed by the fact Landon didn’t immediately direct me to the high price products, I tried to find products in my price range that Landon felt I would like and we best suited for my taste.
The cheese platter is very unique and super tasty.
I highly recommend put this on your must stop by list when you are in the area. Upper Bench Winery's for everyone from a novice to experience wine drinkers and those enjoy wine and the cheese platter.

This place is an amazing experience. They have great wine and delicious cheese to pair. The vibe is perfect for a group or a casual date as well. The best part of my visit was my wine educator, Landon! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home. If you can request him I suggest you do. Can’t wait to go back!

There isn’t really anything outstanding or beautiful about this winery. While the pizza was tasty, that’s the only thing on the menu. The wine was strong like rubbing alcohol, unfortunately. As a visitor, I was hoping for a novel experience.

We ended up here since Da Silva was full, but we are beyond glad that this happened. Landon was our server and he was AMAZING. Ultra knowledgable and enthusiastic about food. Not only did he gave us great food recommendations, he gave us so many great local tips of the region. The King Cole cheese is a MUST. Upper Bench are the creators of this masterpiece. You can find it at the Mission Hill Terrace restaurant but for twice the price!

Upper Bench is our “go to” in Naramata. We like to try different wineries each time we visit but always finish at Upper Bench for the wine and cheese pairings. The Zweigelt is my favourite wine.can’t pick a favourite cheese as they are all delicious! Great tasting room staff too!

Did not know that winery, but as a cheese addict I had to go there while in Penticton.nice wines and amazing handmade cheeses. Friendly and fair prices, have to go back to buy some cheese before heading home on Monday.

This place is really special! Not only do you get some amazing wine, but they also make their own cheeses! The cheese board they offer is one of the best I’ve ever had! The bruschetta was also exceptional! The fungi pizza was pretty good, but I’ve had better. The wine offered was quite good as well, but I enjoyed other tasting experiences more, which is why I am giving them 4 stars. They have a couple dogs who hangout out in the area too and are super friendly!

Did a wine and cheese tasting which was lovely, then had pizza and wine on the patio. Food and wine was tasty and the service was excellent and casual.

We had a great experience here! André made us an amazing appetizer and pizza. Jay was a great host. If you are looking for a fabulous experience on a wine tour I would recommend this place as delicious stop.

We purposely planned a day there based on reviews only to be Very disappointed. 12 of us drove all the way there to have food and wine to find out that kids aren’t welcome at the restaurant. Then, the tasting room was a bit busy with customers but the 3 staff there did not greet us as we waited patiently so we eventually left.

The Oven patio restaurant is great. Love the cheese & meat plate. The Mela pizza is to die for.

Out of the wineries we visited upper bench has got to be the most formative and friendly winery, the staff speak to you on a personal level not like your just another person visiting, they go above and beyond to make your experience great. The food is amazing! Highly recommended to eat here

A little pricier than the other wineries ($7 for tasting 4 wines paired with cheese whereas some places do $5 for 4-6 wines) but I've been here twice already, both times in march (so they're open before April unlike most other wineries). I like the friendly service and the cheese is always appreciated in my household but it's a bit on the expensive side. If you buy a wine bottle, the tasting fee is waived. I might come back again if I'm ever in Penticton again before April!

Amazing winery, great cheese pairing. We made sure that we bought their great blue cheese. Also they were open in the winter season.

Quite surprised that after announcing that I work at a winery that my husband (also in the wine industry) visiting with his son and girlfriend were all charged tasting fees. I love to go to other wineries to gain knowledge and promote other wines. We’re all here to support wine tourism. Although the gentleman was knowledge he was very clear, ‘Every single person has to buy a bottle or they are charged the fee’. Personally as a manager of a winery I encourage other industry people to bring their friends and families to our winery and do not charge them tasting fees, as it is a benefit to
the local industry for people to try the wine and hopefully recommend it from their positive experience. A little goes a long way when you are serving your local community.
