First time at Uppercut and I had a great experience! You can tell Jonny is a professional that takes time in his craft. Thank you for the cut and trim and going above and beyond!

The setting is super laid back and cool. Johnny is great at what he does, very consistent. I've always been picky with who cuts my hair and I couldn't be happier with Johnny's work.

I come from the city where the bar is set very high, but Jonny raises that bar event higher. Not only are the cuts amazing, Jonny is consistent every time I step in the door. His barber shop is very cool. He is great to converse with and always plays great music. It's an easy choice for me to make the 40-45 minute trip to Cumberland for the best.

Thank you for the great cut! It's an awesome feeling when you get more compliments than usual after a hair cut.

The long; Since moving back to Vancouver Island, I have been working on my barber connections. If anyone is like me, it can take ages to find a trustworthy barber to provide a good cut that gives you that sharp look. First cut and impressions were great! Jonny has over 9 years of experience. I feel a great sense of peace knowing I have one place to hit up when I need to get a cut.
The booking system is easy to use, and keeps you accountable to show up. Worth noting, bring cash. Would love to see an e-transfer system set up, though I’m certain there are reasons why it’s not. ATM nearby for those who forget. Puns/Play on words intended.

Comfortable environment. Proper Barber experience. Friendly customer service. One of the best fades I've gotten in a long time.

I can 13 minutes late as I had troubles finding the place and was immediately blown away by Johnny. He is super friendly and has the sickest haircut. I am not kidding, he gave me the best fade in my entire life. I rave this place 100000% and will recommend it to ANYONE.

First impressions: very cool aesthetics and atmosphere! Jonny was polite, professional, and deftly skilled. As someone with thickly, coarse Asian hair, it can be challenging to find someone who knows their way around a pair of clippers well enough to prevent them from catching. Jonny didn't disappoint and gave me probably the best cut I've had since moving to Vancouver Island from the Lower Mainland two years ago. Will definitely be returning!
