Uptown Bistro

We had ordered food for delivery from here many, many times and decided to go in and eat there. Food was just as delicious and staff was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Burnt food for after hours wine. Honestly how is this ok. Look at this food. The coleslaw was sour, the food all burnt and dry

Also, they serve wine after hours.not sure how? Guess that’s how they get away with this horrible food.

Friendly, attentive service, nice decor. Some parking in back. Lots of choices on the menu. Prices seem reasonable for the quality you get. Had the steak sandwich with salad. Delicious salad, wonderful steak. My guest had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, also very good. The fries are worth mentioning too as they rarely are. Pleasantly surprised and definitely will be back.

First visit to this quaint little diner. Not very busy when we arrived just after they opened, easy to seat 6 people. Food was simple but tasty. Service was great and prices reasonable.

The quality of the food is not good, i ordered steak sandwich with fries. Fries were cold and the steak was not fresh. Not going back again

This quaint little bistro is close to Uptown center. It has a simple menu, outstanding food, outstanding service and excellent prices to boot! The chef makes his own jam. I like that it is diner style food, there aren't too many tables and did I mention the prices? !? !? ! I highly recommend a visit to this place. If you like simple, this is it. You can even score a beer or a spirit if the mood strikes.

The advertised photo had 4 chicken fingers, and I received 3 chicken fingers with my skip order. Now I’m still hungry.
The house salad was good.

It's was good as usual, always good flavor food. Tonight the food could have been hotter and please turn up the hot water, for hot tea

I’m really impressed with their burgers. Great, charbroiled flavoured on the meat patties, crunchy fries and a great balsamic dressing for the garden salad.

The best part is, it’s reasonably priced.

We ordered takeout the other day, fish and chips, steak sandwich, calamari and onion rings.
Food was plenty, tasty and hot when it arrived.
Great place to order from and we will for sure again. Awesome job Uptown Bistro team!

Kid you not Victoria, if you haven't tried their BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger you're missing out! Make sure to go down and get it as it's way better hot and fresh, and cap it off with a $5.50 Blue Buck:)

Whatever they've changed over the past year is working! Way better than most places in town, and the pakoras are absolutely bang on too!

No cutlery with delivery. Salomon way over cooked and cold. Salad portion was large but not enough dressing.

First time going to the Uptown Bistro. Loved it and would return. Ordered their calimari which had a great spice to it (was so good) and no unpleasant fishy taste! Highly recommend you try this. I also got the chicken strips and fries. The strips were good, the fries were great. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Great meal!

Had a lovely dinner. Staff were fantastic and the burger and salad were top shelf. Highly recommend stopping in.

First the good: it's very affordable, fast and the service is great.

The food is the issue. I've been here three times and the first two it upset my stomach. I think they either use bad oil, or don't change it enough, or both. So the third time I asked for fruit instead of potatoes and they didnt have any which blows my mind. The breakfast potatoes were undercooked on the inside, they probably only grill them without doing a previous step to soften them. The coffee was really weak. The salmon was overly salty, so here's a tip. If you use smoked salmon, don't cook it. If you're going to cook it, use fresh salmon. There was a huge piece of plastic in my salad.

Good quick service. Decent pricing. Friendly staff. Decent food. Had fish and chips calamari and rib bites. Very quiet eating in.

Food is great, staff is amazing and the prices are perfect! I've never been disappointed, and you won't be either! Uptown Bistro has never let me down!
