Urban Fare

Don't shop here unless money is no object. They DO NOT price match their parent company, Save On Foods, and charge more for many items. Oat milk was 0.30 more here, their profits must add up quickly! They don't even honour the sales at Save On Foods. Very disappointed and won't be back. Get the Save On Foods app and scan the barcodes the next time you're there to make sure you're not being scammed.

Overpriced, and not fresh produce because no one buys it. Lower prices, you’ll sell more, and throw out less.strange and wasteful business model

Rude Indian male Cashier with don't care attitude. Left me hanging in self-checkout machine when an error happens. Has to line up manually again. That's when the casher went to clear the machine. No apology whatsoever. No response to hello except for poker face. Adding this to how overpriced this location is, it's completely unacceptable.

Worst grocery store in the city. Produce is so gross always rotten and it’s so over priced. I call it “urban UNFAIR”. I’d rather starve then shop here.

Overpriced produce and veggies that don’t sell fast means it’s not very fresh at this location. They sell US apples for 3x the price of better local apples that are fresher from Walmart.

Lower your produce pricing and you’ll sell much more and throw away less.

A good food store! Lots of variety of foods! Many items are very overpriced compared to other places nearby. I would recommend buying a few more machines for self checkout, the lineup takes a long time if you are going in a busy time of the day.overall a pretty descent store.

May 16th 2023 8: 45 ish. One cashier chatting with a customer (or friends or colleague) holding 1 itme for more than 5 mins forced me to go self checkout.

UrbanFlair has quite the urban flair. The lineups have only gotten longer as more people move into the area

If you plan to frequent the business around the after work rush (4-6pm) expect to wait, and wait, and wait. As you can imagine checking out your items is quite slow, and the self checkouts are often broken. Further compounding the wait and lack of systems (I don’t think the staff have been setup for success)

Prepare to be disappointed in the overall produce quality, it’s not good

Fantastic supermarket. They have self checkout, which is great. The berries and fruits were great. There's good choice of fish and meat, and different kinds of cheeses. I'm spoiled by food in London, but I managed to cover all my needs and more there.

Convenient grocery store for the Olympic Village district. A subsidiary of the Pattison Food Group which means it does have similar pricing to Save-On-Foods. However, some items are grossly more expensive than the other chains. Items can be around 10% more expensive than Save-on-foods. Other items are similar or even less. Price isn't indicative of quality. Bakery items are often on display past their use-by date and will still be full price

Love this place, best selection and prices on chocolate milk I have seen in the entire area so far.

Also the meat and other products are top quality, incidentally.

They have all this seating but don’t let you have the food you buy at their cafeteria on site. 5: 20 pm doesn’t seem like an outrageous time to want to eat. I don’t quite understand their business model for that part of the store.

I like this place, but I don’t like that not all products have price tags and the discrepancy between the price on the price tag and then the real price when buying.
I don’t like that the password to the toilet changes every time and you have to ask it at the checkout every time, while this causes discomfort.

Over priced, under stalked. Ask the selection is just so much smaller than anywhere else. Good place for keto and vegan options. But I think most places have that kind of stuff now. Always disappointed, never able to fully complete my grocery list. But it is close and convenient for many.

Way over priced it’s crazy! Vegetables look like they have been there for weeks. Self check out forget about it always broken! Don’t go unless you have no option total rip off. Took a photo of this egg sandwich for $10.99 looks like it was made a week ago - shop here as I have to not because I want to - who in their right mind would buy this egg sandwich!

Very clean store with fresh produce rotated by friendly staff. A lot of shelfs being reloaded with new stuff. I definitly going back. Thank you urban fare for being in the neibourhood

Beware… I went there this week and paid $2.50 for an item that was marked on sale. Then the next day, the same item was still on sale but for $3.25… their so called “sale” price seem to change on a daily basis. Needless to say it’s also an expensive store that doesn’t offer you anything extra in return. Food quality is average but you pay a premium price

This is really near my house and very convenient. The staff is lovely and I have always been treated so well. My only complaints are that the deli area is usually not stocked or has very little options and products are a bit pricy Other than that this is a great store would recommend.

Shopping at Urban Fare is always an experience. The store is known for its wide selection of products, every display neatly presented and organized. Visually attractive, but even more so with seasonal decorations in place. The food-to-go section needs a bit of work though, their offerings don't look appealing enough; the insides of some of those clamshell containers look pretty drab. Prices on most items at Urban Fare are higher on average compared to other grocery stores, with maybe a few exceptions.
