Don't shop here unless money is no object. They DO NOT price match their parent company, Save On Foods, and charge more for many items. Oat milk was 0.30 more here, their profits must add up quickly! They don't even honour the sales at Save On Foods. Basically you're at a "fancy" grocery store that's charging you more because you live downtown and must be wealthy I guess. Very disappointed and won't be back. Get the Save On Foods app and scan the barcodes the next time you're there to make sure you're not being scammed.

A large grocery store offering a wide variety of different kinds of goods from fresh produce to lunch meat to sushi to dairy products.
It’s located within walking distance from where we live, but there are grocery stores with more reasonable pricing so we usually shop at Persia and places like that not to spend too much.
However, I must admit that this grocery store is decorated a lot more beautifully than Persia. I loved the good vibes.

All of the workers here are very friendly! I love their selection of cheese and meats. Salad bar could use some improvement but their hot menu is really popular.

The most expensive grocery/super store in Vancouver for no reason!
1) Their points and reward system is ridiculous, I almost shop there every other day between $25 to $60 and after ten times of shopping or more you can only redeem the points you have collected only for 1 lime.
2) They charge you $0.25 cents for a paper bag with no handle, imagine when you have no car and forget your own bag. When you even shop around $70 and ask if they can layer the bags so it won't be torn, they ask you to pay another $0.25 cents for the second bag. Seriously? At Whole-foods they layer the bags for the customers themselves when the items are heavy.
3) Their fruit and vegetable are not always fresh for the price you pay.
4) They have some sections at the end of the rayons for reduced prices items that you think they are the good deals of the store, but usually & usually they are already expired. Always check the expiry date.
5) Overall: VERY expensive, no decent reward or points system, expensive paper bags with NO handle or expensive bag option to buy if you need to. Not always fresh, organic fruit and vegetables. Finally, if you compare their prices always higher than elsewhere.

After paying for a croissant and beverage, the cashier did not give me the croissant. She told me "I don't know what YOU did with it".

Most rude staff and supervisor I’ve ever seen in Canada. They can’t care less about their customers and seem to be annoyed by us. Make sure to check the price at the teller as they are not as same as marked, and if you bring it to their attention they will give you the look before adjust it for you, but can’t care less about fixing it, so others follow the same trap. And to add to my previos review, today I waited 40 mins for my breakfast to be served at the “restaurant” (more like a fast food stall), and after asking for my money back I had to chase the supervisor to issue a refund. He seemed just annoyed and did not even issue an apology or explained what happened with my food.

This is a challenging store. First, there are never enough cashiers available, and no self-checkouts so everyone lines up in single file. Annoying. The layout is odd too.

The service in the restaurant is a disaster. There is no good organization, they are so slow and the staff is not friendly. I have been many times, but definitely I will not come back again.

The restaurant has great fries chicken strips, but the actual groceries are pretty expensive. Also, the washrooms are clean.

Don’t mess with my first meal of the day.
Stopped by Urban Fare for breakfast. Ordered the chorizo breakfast wrap. Pretty sure they forgot about my order. When I checked on it, they opened the Microwave and threw my wrap on the grill for 30 seconds. The end result, a dry cold, un edible breakfast wrap.
Coffee was good though.

Terrible customer service. Unhappy staff. Old products for a high price. Checkout system a nightmare. Rude & disrespectful staff at checkout & deli area.

Service quality at the Davie location cafe and food area has significantly deteriorated. It maybe because of staff shortages but quality standards and the staff attitude and training should be a concern of the management. This place is near my condo & I really liked to drop in regularly but now I hesitate to continue going to visit again. I don’t want to list the two specific incidents I noticed today because I don’t want to blame a specific individual.
