Highly, HIGHLY impressed with my experience here. I’ve been to dental offices in 4 major cities in Canada, and this has been the best one yet! I switched to Urban Smiles after having a less than satisfying experience elsewhere, and do not regret it for an instant. Not only is the customer service friendly and willing to help, but huge props my dental hygienist Darren! I get very anxious at the dentist (and typically dread going) and have a lot of sensitivity, but felt super relaxed with him. He was willing to work with my needs and I really appreciated his calm demeanour. Will be returning soon…. And dare I say I’m almost looking forward to it?

Really down to earth, no-stress dentistry from the friendly front desk staff to the dentist and dental hygienists. I was late for my appointment (sorry.) and got a friendly text reminder. The staff still took the time to provide thorough care and even look into another issue for me when they could have just said come back another day. They treat you well here — definitely recommend:)

I recently had a cleaning with Danielle and it was a great experience! The cleaning was super comfortable and amazing information was given on how to care for my teeth and gums while pregnant! The office was also beautiful and cleanly. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Has to be the happiest and best organized dental team in Victoria. Everyone is super friendly and things move along on time and efficiently. I'm very happy I chose Urban Smiles Victoria.

Staff is friendly until you voice a concern. Very pushy with treatment if you have insurance coverage. On my first visit they suggested I get braces, when I had just completed a round of invisalign with my orthodontist. I've honestly had too many bad experiences with them to list here, but I promise the list is endless.
One positive is that the dental hygienists are thorough.

I have been going to Urban Smiles since it opened. The women who cover the front desk, hygienists, (thank you, Ashley) and Dr. Staples and Dr. Livingstone are wonderful! I am impressed, pleased, and grateful for their service.

Monica is a friendly dental assistant who makes you feel comfortable during treatment. Dr. Nesbitt was very knowledgable and explained everything in detail. First off let’s me say that my previous trauma has made it tough for me to want to go to the dentist, but from the moment I stepped into Urban Smiles Victoria, I felt a sense of relief. The front desk staff was extremely friendly, the waiting room is comfy with lots to look at to ease your mind.

I was going to urban smiles for a new bridge with Dr. Livingstone. The moment I sat down Dr. Livingstone assistant Collen was kind, has a great sense on humour and extremely professional through the whole process. Dr. Livingstone sat down and gave me the complete game plan on how things were going to go and really made sure I was apart of the process. Throughout the work both Dr. Livingstone and Colleen check in to make sure everything is going ok, which I thought was great not only are they trying to get the work done but they are checking in on your experience.
Dr. Livingstone is a professional in every possible way, he is constantly making sure what is best for the client. He is calm, patient, easy to talk to and he takes great pride in his work, and it shows.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but for the first time I am looking forward to going back to Urban Smiles Victoria for all my future dental work. I highly recommend this team; you won’t be disappointed!

I found out Urban Smiles just by walking past their office which is convenient to my home. I walked in and was greeted warmly and taken on as a new patient. Everyone I came into touch with was amazing- from Jessica who answered lots of questions, and communicated new patient information clearly, to Dana who was gentle and efficient, and reassuring during the cleaning. Monique (I think?) at the front desk was fabulous and friendly during check in and checking out. She was so joyful! Dr. Dundas was fantastic! She was so competent, worked quickly and was a fantastic cheerleader through needle anxiety. She was caring and kind and really ensured I knew what was happening and checked in lots- her assistant Sarah was such a gem and put me right at ease. Best dental experience I have ever had. The team at Urban Smiles treated my 5 year old with so much care and compassion, and walked me through some options for my own dental health plan. A clean, nice and state-of-the-art facility that is matched by its incredibly warm and kind staff.

I had to get a filling done recently and I was really impressed with the way and speed with which Dr. Motet and Sarah worked together. It was so impressive I had to tell them! Urban Smiles has been a great dentist for me and I appreciate that although they may suggest a few things, they do not pressure me to get cosmetic or regular dental work I do not need.

I woul d highly recommend this dentist office. I had a dental emergency, and was feeling anxious about trying out a new dentist.
Upon entering the office, I was greeted warmly by Bethany. The office decor is super fun and full of colour and life.
Kendra the dental assistant was lovely as well, and she listened carefully to my dental concerns, and relayed my story to the dentist so that I didn't have to repeat myself. Dr. Sunny Makkar made me feel comfortable immediately. He is kind, empathetic and has a great sense of humour. He went out of his way to ensure I knew exactly what he was doing during the procedure and what the next steps would be. He knew I was flying the next day, and he gave me some great advice to ensure I would not feel any pain.
You will have a wonderful experience at this dentist office.

You went out of your way to fix a pending wrong that bothered me for 2 years

I personally will never be returning too urban smiles Victoria. Not sure what happened as they used too be so helpful and friendly but my most recent experience was very eye opening. This business operates how it wants regardless of it's effects on patients. My experience started as my cleaning appointment came near I received an email saying that due too summer hours their hours would be changing and I needed too reschedule my august 10th appointment. I was going too do that when I also received another email a week later asking me confirm my Aug 10th apnt. This led me too believe that my appointment was still a go. I then received a text on August 9th stating that I needed too reschedule and the soonest that would be was December. This frustrated me because in my opinion my appointment never should have been scheduled in the first place let alone receiving all these conformation emails. Not cool. The reseptionist Nikki whom I was communicating with then blamed me for everything and told me more or less I was out of luck. She was very short and unhelpful and ended the conversation by r-bombing me after I said I never should have received a confirmation email if my appointment was canceled. She told me the reason I got the email was because my appointment was still in the system as an appointment. I found this very misleading. All and all really not impressed with the service I was given. A company should not book and appointment if they are planning on going into summer hours so they will have too cancel nor should I have received a confirmation text and email which I responded too. They should have realized when I confirmed that something was wrong. Very unprofessional and very bad scheduling if you ask me.

My kids had great experiences at Urban Smiles yesterday. They saw 3 different hygienists, and all three were incredible. Everyone was kind, patient, and thorough. Highly recommend!

A complete professional, dental clinic. The staff are very friendly and maintain a spotless clinic. My dentist and his assistant, were first-class; professional, competent and efficient. I've had the pleasure to go here a few times over the last few months for Invisalign. The staff here are amazing, smiles every time I walk through the door. The place is decorated very tastefully and impeccably clean. You can really tell they take care of their establishment.

Colleen and Brett have been amazing in helping me through my 15 week journey to getting a better smile (so happy for that!) and they always have good stories to tell when I'm there.

I've been to many dental offices but this office by far has the friendliest staff that cares about your dental needs. Dr. Livingstone was very informative and caring when he was helping me out. Also, the ladies up front at reception are so sweet!

When I came to urban smiles Victoria I had low self esteem and felt very self conscious of my teeth for they were in rough condition, poor health and have always been prone to decay. Not only that but felt like I had a lot of poor previous work done.
Dr. Livingstone, his assistant Nikki and the team of other assistants to the front end office staff were very kind and compassionate. I am beyond happy with the work Dr. Livingstone did in restoring my smile. I highly recommend this practice. Very clean, very modern. I’m relieved to have a dental practice I can continue with.

The dental office in downtown victoria is great. They do a great job of getting you the treatment you need within the budget you can afford. Payment plans are available so that is a real plus. Everyone is great fun there, especially Marcey!

I've had my initial dental exam and cleaning done here recently and I found the entire experience thus far VERY thorough compared to past experiences. The entire team of receptionists, financial treatment coordinator, dental assistants and dentists are incredibly respectful and kind. I couldn't ask for a better dental team so thank you ALL.

Urban Smiles is the best dental office I have ever been too. I am very anxious and everyone was kind, warm and fun. Brett and his assistants made me feel well taken care of and helped me feel more at ease in the chair by talking to me like I was a normal person verses talking to me like I just another patient.
