Love the idea of this store! Has all sorts of bits and pieces of art materials at reasonable prices when you're only looking for a small piece.

We love this place! So many good craft supplies. It's a creative reuse place as well as having a few brand new items, so it's great for sparking creativity. Don't come here looking for specific items, though, as inventory is constantly changing.

Cutest store! It has everything for crafting and arts. Also their collection of vintage posters, photos and post cards are awesome!

When I was taking an Early Childhood Educator course, my teacher recommended this store. I went there for my future practicum, and I enjoyed shopping at this store. While I was in there, my ideas popped up, I couldn't control myself. Thanks to this store, my creativity was being sophisticated.

I painted peg dolls for my book extension, it was engaging with children.eye droppers are very helpful for art activity. If you are looking for something new in the education field, I would like to recommend this store.

Great local craft store filled with unique stationery, interesting paper, stickers, scrap leather/textiles, paintings, raw wooden items ready for paint, etc. Good place to pick up a few things for a weekend art project for the kids.

It is a little art supply store that I also like. I don't mind the little space we had, I find it exciting to look for various supply at top of one item and another. It is like a little art adventure. The owner is also helpful and very friendly. You can find a lot of interesting products here.

You can find unique art materials here! It was not huge but it's alright considering how many art and craft supply stuffs were already available here. I found lots of adorable stamps that were perfect for my journaling hobby. The price is very affordable here too so it is nice to visit this place for your art supply needs.

Nifty place with lots of interesting odds and ends stuff for crafting. Parking may be difficult to find, though.

An absolute dream for any crafty person or teacher looking for random supplies. I come in for various scrapbooking and card making supplies and have never left unhappy. I’ve never seen a store quite like it and can’t recommend it enough!

It’s hard to summarize the Urban Source: there’s a bulk section of different papers, old photos, patches, sections of foil, strings, and so forth; they have a variety of stickers, labels, glass bottles, painting supplies, strings, and posters; and there’s tote bags, posters, and other stationary supplies.

Everything is reasonably priced and sold individually so you’re never in the wasteful scenario of buying a package of 30 labels you’ll never use again when you just need 5. Seriously, just go in yourself. You won’t leave empty handed.

So many cool craft materials. I felt inspired just by being there! You can buy a bag and fill it with tons of crafting material. Great for kids and adults!

I have lost track of how many times I’ve lost hours in that store and the amount of goodies that I have found during that crazy amount of time spent in there.

This place is such a treasure. All sorts of interesting craft supplies to stoke the imagination and the owner is a ray of sunshine. Still one of my favorite places in Vancouver after more than 10 years.

Really cool artsy place! They have so many different pieces, and knick knacks. It's great for art supplies, or projects, but be warned you can easily pick up so much extra stuff you didn't even think you need! Amazing place!

This boutique excells in unique materials like edgy commercial store samples, they display their inventory in ready made crafts, mesmerized and inspired, I buy up the whole store. OMG

I utterly love this store. If you like crafting or small natural materials, work in childcare or want to visit somewhere artsy, this is the place for you! They have such a wide variety of amazing things that make getting creative easy and inspiring. They even have a bag you can grab for a set price and fill it with a ton of different materials. Look no further for cute little boxes and packaging options (on the smaller side) also!

This has been a staple art supply place for me. I haven't been in for 20 years and it is as exciting now as back then! My daughter loved it too. This is where creativity happens.

A good 'This and That' store for arts and crafts! They have some really unique and creative things in there! Relatively cheap too! Shop local!

Cute little craft store with tons of unique items, ranging from vintage photographs to beautiful prints from Florence. I bought a small display "tree trunk". Gorgeous posters of plants as well, with good prices. Highly recommend.

Great little store for random knickknacks but some of the staff are less than pleasant.no greetings upon entering or good tidings leaving.not that i expect like a life story or anything but "thx for coming". "have a nice day" or something of the sort.

Inexpensive recycled treasures here! Really great for upcoming projects I have! Love that there is no limit to creativity with all the products here! Gonna use my new pretty ribbons for clothes and shoes laces, thank you!

Really cool art supply store with affordable materials that you won't usually see at other art stores. The story about the grandma folding the little stars is really interesting too. Probably one of my new favourite art supply stores for materials. Will visit again soon

Oh my GOODNESS this is a crafter heaven and also an ECE heaven. I’ve probably spent way too much time in here but there are so many treasures hidden within this little tiny space.

The girls that are over at the register are sweet, patient and friendly. They don’t make you feel out of place or treat you or others in any different way. I’ve probably went every day during my month long practicum for ECE.if only it wasn’t so physically far from where I am now (not in practicum). Now it’ll have to be once a month or once every two months.who knows?

The best is my ability to get a sized paper bag and place all the things I need in there. (Thank goodness for all those years of Tetris.haha)

Hidden gems inside, please prepare at least 2-3 hours to fully explore!

I love Urban source. It's small and ideosyncratic, but a great place to find art supplies that you didn't even know you needed.
