Always amazing food and service.
The extra charge after the limit of 5 people per table is not correct. Even, after all these extra charges per table, you guys still don’t give tips to your employees.

I ordered their Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry and Tandoori Rotis. To be honest, reading the reviews, I expected their food to be good but my experience was just about average. I didn't like their Lamb curry at all, it lacked flavors and wasn't upto the mark. Plus, most of the pieces were very hard, they weren't tender at all. Few I had to just spit it out because they were so hard to chew. I didn't like their rotis too, they were very thick and I personally believe they weren't 100% whole wheat as i am allergic to wheat flour (maida) and the moment I had, I puked. So the only good thing about their order was the Butter Chicken, so 2 stars just for it! If you are craving for good butter chicken, then you can order from them.

I ordered Keema Naan, Chole Bhature and Chicken Noodles.
Keema Naan was good, worth ordering
Chole Bhature is not something I would recommend, chole were just below average and bhature seemed to be ready-made (like tortilla fried). It doesn't look traditionally made in the restaurant.
And stay away from Chicken Noodles. They use pretty thick noodles not the traditional ones, didn't like them at all.
So my rating remains the same!

Update: Visited the place on Aug 11,2022
My experience was totally different from the takeout. The food was yummy and the service was excellent. The owner of the place was very humble. Loved the visit hence changing the rating from 2 to 5. (Pics attached)

Visited again and it lived upto the expectation. Food was awesome and this time it touched my heart. Ordered rotis, naans, dal makhni, cream chicken and the star of the night moongdal halwa. Must try! Have shared pics

Ordered Delivery: Pav Bhaji and Kulche Chole. Kulche Chole was good but Pav Bhaji's bhaji was super spicy, not sure why? Didn't taste good as well. We didn't eat. Also tried their Gajar Halwa which was not good. It was way sweeter and the sweetener didn't seem like sugar, it seemed more like condensed milk. They used to sell Moong Dal Halwa which was so good but now they don't sell that unfortunately, not sure what's wrong!?

Best Amritsari Kulcha in Canada hands down. Visited specially from Calgary to try this. I hope they open their branch in Calgary.

Tandoori Chicken Malai Tikka
- delicious melt in your mouth chicken

Kadhai Chicken
- juicy, flavourful, delicious chicken

Lamb Curry
- served hot with plenty of gravy and tender lamb pieces

Garlic Naan
- served hot with just the right crispness

All dishes were served hot and with attentive, caring service.

One of the bad service ever I don’t know why their server had so cold attitude Not professional at all food was okay But they should change their server

Exceptional Food and Service at Ustaad Ji Kelowna!

I recently dined at Ustaad Ji Kelowna and was blown away by the incredible food and exceptional service. The flavors were amazing, and Himangi provided outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Our whole soccer team and parents visited Ustaad restaurant yesterday and we were all blown way by their service especially on such a short notice. I called 15 minutes prior to going there and by the time we all reached there, all the tables were set up. The managers and the servers were so friendly, patient, accommodating and professional. The food was delicious and they even went out of their way to create a small meal for our special little team member who could not handle spices. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

We ordered chicken curry from here which was very much oily. Quantity was good.
Taste wasn't good.

Food was delicious and customer service was great. The guy who served us was very good in his job.

I heard from people they have a best chicken biryani. But my experience was worst. Biryani was tooo oily. I couldn't eat full. I've packed it try not to throw but even later when I've opened the box, oil was too much then in a helpless condition I have to throw it. I've explained this to owner but he said he expalined to his cook. Other than that he did nothing else for us. I went another day i tried their fish. That was toooo delicious. I would love to try fish next time for sure. But biryani never ever.

Food was very tasty, we had mix kulcha and keema naan, quantity was amazing and had original taste of india.would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Kelowna

Excellent! The dishes were delicious, just the right amount of heat (Canadian medium). Four dishes with Naan, perfect sizes for sharing for 4 people. Not licensed but that did not matter to us.

Is there a way i can rate zero star, Not even 1 star
i ordered malai Champ as there location in surrey is best.
First of all to begin with i found hair (hair from champ)
Malai champ didn't had salt neither amy spice.
Just so you know guys i would not recommend this to anyone.

Please dont get influenced by tiktoks and order food from here. I ordered 5 malai chaap and 2 tandoori chicken. There was hair in 1 chaap. Even chicken was uncooked, felt like biting a raw chicken. Worst food i have ever eaten. When i called them, guy on the phone just mocked and said this cant be true.
I wont try food from any Ustaad G location now. There isn’t a option to give -ve rating otherwise i would have given them -5 stars.

They serve stale food to the customer and it's really disappointing.they don't care about their customer service. I order paneer tikka and it was not even warm. They said, “its just because of their cooking recipe. ” Funny……

Their kulchas are awesome, the best I have had till date. The service is fantastic, they take extra efforts to ensure customers are happy. I would recommend this restaurant to all who would like to eat authentic panjabi food.

Who puts rooh afza in mango shake.and then whip cream on top of that.drinks definitely were bad. They don't even have enough cutlery.we were aske to save the used spoon for next order as the didn't had enough washed spoons.

I really disappointed from food and service i am not recommended to go over there. Find another restaurant.

Just wastage of money and time. They should understand that people only go to these restaurants when they really wanna enjoy something special. No taste in food at all.

Server Raghav was absolutely awesome. I would love to get served by him every time I visit that place.

Very hospitable staff.warm and welcoming, just like the food!
We ordered the chef recommended Cream Chicken, and went with the server's recommendation of Karahi Paneer. Both flavors were indeed complimentary and we gobbled down the soft, hot and fresh roti and garlic naan (had to order more!).
And the quantity of food for the price is total value for money!
Highly recommend for locals and tourists.must visit!

Terrible food. From reading the other reviews I expected somewhat of a good meal. Dont make the dame mistake i did. The trash is where this food will be going, and where it belongs.

We went to kelowna 2 weeks ago, with family and friends. As we heard about ustaad jis location in kelowna, we went to the location for dinner. The staff was so nice and humble. It was already 8pm and some of us ordered Amritsari kulche which is in their Brunch. But the girl with long plate took our order and made our food ready in 15 minutes. We are so awestruck by the service. Kudos to all the servers and chefs.

A very nice authentic Indian restaurant. Excellent food and great customer service. Their butter chicken was absolutely delicious. Good menu, many variety of dishes to choose from. Very nice atmosphere, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Tasty authentic indian cuisine. I went to the restaurant with my family and everyone shares my opinion that the food and service is very good. Butter chicken in particular was delicious. I will definitely go again and I look forward to try new items.

It's a first best experience with an Indian restaurant in kelowna. I had lunch here and it's taste was great and valuable.
