Both service, and food is absolutely incredible. I look forward to lunch everyday. The sate peanut pho is a staple. Some of best pho outside of Vietnam. Owners are there from open to close and take care of the place and its guests. Highly recommended.

Came here for lunch with a friend. It’s a good place to go if you want to be able to chat without having to talk over music or the crowd but maybe we were too loud for the place? Lol when I was looking over the menu at first I thought the prices were a bit high but then when the food came out the portion sizes are huge! The picture of the vermicelli I took after I was a few bites into my bowl (I forgot to take a picture before I ate). As for the service nothing spectacular, they never once came up to our table to check in on things. You pretty much have to wave them down if you need anything.

2024.02 I think it would be nice to smile a little more and be kinder. The beef rice noodles were delicious, but the BBQ rice noodles and spicy thinly sliced ​​noodles they ordered were not tasty.

Best Vietnamese restaurant on the North Shore hands down. Large portions, great food, lots of seating and they have a large free parking lot accessed from the alley.

I believe this place used to be good. Appears to be run down with very little care given to the atmosphere of the place. The lighting is quite dim.
We’ve eaten from here a couple of times and every time we regret it. We had two bánh mì’s and a lemongrass chicken/rice dish. The chicken seemed to be old and everything else was pretty bland. They also tried to sell me some old spring rolls as well. Probably will not order from here again unless there is a change in not only the food but everything else as well.

First of all, the staff are amazing, the food is so good, there are vegan options, affordable pricing, huge portions, and it’s open until 12am!

I order from skip the dish, this so called beef brisket smell like rotten meat, smell source and stinky, when I call to ask the staff said “there is nothing wrong with the food, I don’t know why do you think this is bad”, excuse me? And she’s like “I am very busy now, I don’t know why you say something like that, nobody else said like that”, she was so rude and acting like I am trying to make up this story, this is so disrespectful and gross, I am gonna try to contact the food safety department to ask the inspections!

Pho udon noodles blood soaked with un- cooked meat! Broth tasteless. Pad Thai had hard stuck together noodles & over cooked,! Vietnamese curry was oily & chicken? ! Was weird looking! Tough & grissly. Also
Vermicelli hard & stuck together again! Had no idea you had to cook the at home? ! Thought it was takeout! Save your! I try to support small local business, but could have gone to Osaka mkt.for 1/2 the price!

Truly a special place. I've been coming here for 6 years. I always leaved stuffed with delicious Vietnamese flavors. This is a family owned business, and they work had.

The owner seems to have made this her family's breadwinning. I haven't seen someone work ask hard as her in any restaurant I've been to. Hopefully her children will carry on that legacy:)

Food is really tasty, the pho is great and best thing to warm you up on a cold day. The place is also run by a really kind and sweet lady.

This is a hidden gem! Everyone raves about Vancouver’s Asian food scene but this is the spot. As someone who has lived in Vietnam for 16 years and is married to someone from Vietnam, this place is authentic and unmatched to any restaurant around. Not to mention the staff are friendly and genuine. This isn’t fine dining but this place is makes up for it with taste and service!

Broth is in point. They would have got 5 stars if they offered thigh instead of breadt for the Phó ga

After driving past this restaurant for years, I decided to try it for a take-out dinner. A major disappointment. Pork brochette could have been called, "Meat on a skewer, complete with fat and gristle. " Yam Tempura, which should have been light and crispy, was soggy and limp. Shrimp Pad Thai held overcooked and cold crustaceans, a few vegetables and lots of noodles with too much fish sauce applied.

We decided to have our lunch at V-Nam Vietnamese Restaurant, and this is so right, we just loved spring rolls so much for this dish, my seafood #52 is so tasty and #54 is spicy and so yummy, but I'll make sure they will cook the noodle a bit more next time, other than that, it's all good Thank you!

Best Vietnamese hands down on North Shore. Authentic and friendly staff. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a large free parking lot in the back accessed by the alley.

Most other Vietnamese restaurants have no parking and not much seating so this is a great place to go. Even when they’re busy as they often are, they still have room to accommodate more customers.

Poor customer service the lady barely says Hi and for pick up orders it just takes soooo long

The first time I went I enjoyed the peanut sate pho. The second time I went the restaurant was extremely dirty, it was very understaffed, and I didn’t feel comfortable coming again. The restaurant isn’t clean in general. The spicy beef pho was not good. I moved on from this restaurant.
