Had a great experience working with Valley Auto to get a tow kit sorted out, highly recommend their services and expertise. They kept me updated and informed during the process, and made sure I was aware of all the available options for my needs. Special shout out to Tyler for going over and above to get me the parts I needed.

After discussing the issues leading up to this review with the Service Manager, I am rewording some of what I wrote in an effort to be as fair as possible.

I had had my personal vehicle in for a basic oil change and tire rotation back in November 2022. The experience over the time it was in the shop was good overall. However, a previous incident with an employer's vehicle had made me a little apprehensive to bring my own vehicles to Valley in the future. I took it to another shop in the area for the next oil change in November 2023 (I don't put on a lot of mileage - about 9K between).

Shortly after dropping it off, I was called to come back and take a look at the oil drain plug, which was badly rounded off. I watched the technician (with approval) weld on another nut on top. He allowed the bolt to cool and then started to remove it with a typical ratchet/socket. Within a few seconds, the oil pan cracked.

A new oil pan runs $276 plus install. Stranded on the hoist and unable to drive the car, I asked them to replace the oil pan while I went back over my service records to see who had worked on it last - Valley Auto and RV Repair.

Jake and I had a long discussion about possible causes for this, and again were unable to find middle ground. He did ask me to bring over the old oil pan and drain plug for assessment.

They for me in last minute when another shopper messed up, they were quick and professional, courtesy car was a bonus and they even came in few mins early to help accommodate my schedule! Highly recommend

Above and beyond. If I could give these guys 6 stars I totally would. We took our car here for a MAP sensor repair and the team was professional, prompt and eager to help. They kept us updated with the repair and explained things to us in lay terms what needed to be done. Super friendly staff, efficient repair, and a squeaky clean shop - this place is a true hidden gem. Definitely coming back to Valley for all of our car repairs and definitely recommending to everyone we know. The shop gets busy at times because they're jam packed with business. Worth the wait. Take your car here for repairs - trust me they're the best.

The family at Valley auto took such great care of us! They went above and beyond to ensure we got our rv in to shape at a very fair price. They were super honest and completed the job efficiently. They also told us of an area that may need to be followed up with, showed my husband where to look and what to keep our eyes on. So far everything they did has been effective. We are really thankful we found them and highly recommend them to all.

We purchased a new Class-C motohome RV in June with a planned 2 month trip to Yukon starting August 1. Driving it from the onset was a white knuckle drive and dangerous as it wandered and rocked on smooth highway no matter the speed and in no-wind conditions. It was dangerous to drive and should not have been allowed to be sold this way. My wife would not drive it, even though she has driven a large one-ton pick-up with a large camper in the past.
After unsuccessfully searching Vancouver Island for Ford dealers and suspension specialists who could address our issues so we could leave on our trip, I contacted Dam's Ford in Langley, who has a truck and RV department, and they got us in immediately. The truck steering and suspension were to Ford's specs. I was referred to Valley Auto & RV Repair, and Jake diagnosed the issues on the phone, and offered me an appointment that afternoon to do a detailed assessment even though they did not have a hoist available as they were extremely busy. Patrick, one of their suspension and steering specialist did a test drive with me, and then their team did technical diagnostics and an assessment of the motorhome, and came up with a plan on what should be done for the suspension, steering, tracking and stabiltiy. The plan was a phased approach to manage costs, but they emphazed that the first step might be sufficient for our driving comfort. They got my RV in for the work the next day. The first step improved the steering, tracking and stability by 1000% (night and day) improvement. This allowed us to continue on our trip the following day.
Valley Auto & RV Repair's service and hospitality was amazing. They invited us and our two dogs into their air conditioined visitor's lounge, provided a courtesy car for an afternoon, and directed us to dog parks. To boot, their coffee and friendliness was most appreciated. Their customer treatment took all stress off and allowed us to get on with our trip in an RV that both my wife and me could drive safely and comfortably. We plan to have all major work on our RV at Valley Auto & Repair even though it means travelling from Vancouver Island.

On my way down from northern BC my engine light came on. Dropped in without an appointment and they squeezed me in. Further complicating things, I left for Europe the next day. They kept me informed via email and phone calls while I was away and completed the diagnostic and repair work before I got back. Great people and great service!

I've taken multiple vehicles here over the years. Found this place through my dad who has been using them for as long as I can remember. This is the only repair shop that makes me feel at ease, knowing I'm not going to be ripped off and that whatever service they're hired to complete will be done so correctly! They communicate the issues and don't just start pulling things out to run up an impossible to pay tab. Everyone is super knowledgeable and well versed in their areas of expertise. I just can't recommend Valley enough!

Excellent customer service. They were able to diagnose the problem. Did research to figure out what it could possibly be, order the parts and my car was serviced and back the same day. Highly recommend this business.

I am so grateful that I have Valley Auto to repair my Class A motorhome. From first contact to arrange appointment to drop off my rig to them then receiving the Inspection Report. All go through so well with their professional explanation and top notch customer service. They provide a clear picture of my rig repairs whereas addressing the safety is the priority that those issues should be fixing first. From now on their shop will be my definitely shop to go to for my auto/rv repair shop. And will highly recommend to my friends too.

The staff at Valley auto and RV Repair rock. They are very professional. They would even go the extra second mile just to help their customers. I am one of those grateful customers. When my RV catalytic converter was stolen, Tyler and Andrew were very helpful. Not only with the actual Repair but more so with dealing with ICBC. They were so efficient that in less than a week's time, I was able to use my Motorhome on time for our scheduled church retreat. I would highly recommend Valley Auto and RV Repair to anyone who is still looking for a trustworthy repair shop.

I’ve brought my truck in to these guys several times and they always do great work, and keep me updated on what’s happening while it’s in the shop. Tyler is always friendly and helpful.

We dropped off out Ford Edge with a mysterious engine problem. We thought in our minds it was New Engine time. But after Jake and the boys dug into it and Then to our Surprise it turned out to be a minor repair and while they were working on it we had a full service done. This Car looks and Drives like new again.

They have been servicing my Class A RV for several years, and have given me excellent service every time. I highly recommend Valley Auto.

Needed new tires as we got a nail in the treads and because our tires were 4 yr old we needed at least 2. Best option was to get 4 of a different brand than 2 that looked like originals then replace other 2 in a year.

These guys at Valley Auto are FANTASTIC! We use them all the time. This particular time it was a last minute thing for me booking in and I was on a tight time line. They accommodated me with in a day and had me in and out in 2 days. Great service and even greater people!

Very professional. All work was performed above typical standards. They communicated very well. Unfortunately a loose panel on my inside door was broken and not replaced.

Edit: Changed to 5 stars. They are replacing the broken panel.
