Purchased a Rav4 from Valley Toyota recently. I enjoyed my experience dealing with the staff especially Johnny Bayard who went above and beyond to assist me with the purchase of my new vehicle.

Valley Toyota is one of the only dealerships I recommend to all my loved ones. They make you feel so welcome, validated and heard. They accommodated my needs thoroughly; demonstrated professionalism and the team are incredibly knowledgeable! The sales manager, Dustin was exceptionally helpful - it is evident the team works closely with one another to make their clients happy. I would recommend Valley to anyone looking for a vehicle!

Got my new-to-me Matrix after months of amazing support from Johnny Bayard at Valley Toyota. He asked the best questions to figure out what my rather low budget allowed and what would be comfortable and safe for my needs. He went above and beyond in more ways than I can say. For months. Johnny was patient, professional and responsive to every question and worry and had a nice edge of humour. I had no way into town for closing the deal and he picked me up at my door and got me to the bank for a bank draft as well. Such Service! I'd recommend any of my friends to Johnny. The day after the deal he still texted with some info he wanted to offer. Gavin Goward handled the paper work and financing in a helpful, and informative way.

The service department was rude and condescending, not to mention recommending items that were just from the "book" and not looking at what my Rav4 needed. Over 4.5 hours for an oil change and when I arrived it was still not ready! I would not recommend Valley's service department.

We just came home with a new Toyota Grand Highlander which we bought from Johnny Bayard, and it was a fantastic experience. Johnny was an excellent support for us during the ordering process and kept us highly informed during the few months that we waited for our vehicle to come in. Great dealership to work with! My wife and I had a great experience when we purchased our Rav4. We dealt with Johnny and Kaleb from sales who were very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Johnny was easy to sit down with and make a deal that was reasonable. Gavin from financing was also very friendly and personable! He went through everything that you were paying for. Every detail in the extended warranty was covered beforehand. There were no surprises. I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone thinking of purchasing a Toyota!

I’ve gone to this place for service a few times now, and for the most part, it’s good. I have had a couple issues however, that weren’t cool at all. I had my back wiper blade replaced in January and didn’t use it right away but when I did, I noticed it really wasn’t working as most of the blade wasn’t even making contact with the glass. I took note of it but forgot (we had zero precipitation this year so I didn’t use it). So, my next service was due, and I stated my concern and asked for another blade (I literally used it 3 times, maybe) and the service advisor said, ‘yeah, he bent it a little bit - should be fine). I went out and started the car and tried the wiper. It was worse! I told the advisor and she said, ‘well, you’ve had it since January’.

That is true but so is the fact the blade is deficient. I’ve felt this ‘flippant’ attitude there before - not cool.

I’ll be going elsewhere.

Two years ago, I was in a position of desperately needing a reliable vehicle, but being a woman, on my own, I was really nervous about going into a dealership, looking for a vehicle. I was also in the process of a long-distance move, and on a tight time-frame.

I finally found a vehicle online in my price range, and sent in a query about it. To my delight, someone that I had met a year and a half earlier, at a different dealership, was now at the Toyota Dealership, working as the Sales Manager, by the name of Dustin Scott. Dustin had helped me sell an older vehicle to a Collector. From my previous experience with Dustin, I knew I could trust him completely, because he genuinely cares about people! I am happy to say I was able to purchase the vehicle I was interested in, and Dustin helped me through the whole process, which can be a little stressful. Also, Curtis, one of the Product Advisers was a great help to me, in showing features and in setting up the infotainment system.

I would highly recommend going to Valley Toyota for your vehicle purchase. Toyota in general, has a good reputation for well-made vehicles, and with a Sales Team led by Dustin Scott and with excellent Product Advisers like Curtis, you will be genuinely cared for, in the best way possible.

Worst experience I've ever had. Gouged for services. Was told that they had made "notes" about me, like I was a criminal to be watched by staff. WILL NEVER GO BACK
Have decided to go to go to a different dealership, after 23 years.

Everyone except for Arshe the finance guy was a pain to deal with. This dealership lost out on 3 new vehicle sales with the way I and my parents were dealt with. The sales staff was rude on multiple different occasions and the service department was uncommunicative when trying to repair my mothers vehicle. The sales manager himself talked me out of a sale and my mother on two different occasions decided not to buy again from them because of the attitude from salespeople. If you’re in chilliwack and wanting to buy a Toyota, go to Abbotsford.

I recently purchased a truck with the help of Caleb, Gavin and Stacey and it was hands down my easiest most pain free car buying experience. No pressure and true desire to help you get in to the car you want made it a 5 star experience. The drive from langley was totally worth it and I would highly recommend valley toyota to all my friends and family!

I bought a 2023 Toyota Corolla from these guys staff is super helpful and nice to talk to very accommodating.

The sales person called and blamed me for the cheque not arriving saying "because you gave us the wrong address". Wow, how can I give you the wrong address when you typed in the address to the system looking at my Power of Attorney document. A LEGAL DOCUMENT WITH MY CORRECT ADDRESS. Why can't you just accept what you did and apologize. Very dissapointed.

I sold my 2 years old CH-R on July 15th 2023 and was told they will send a cheque first thing the following week. After waiting for over a week I asked the sales person what's going on, and was told it was sent 2 days ago so it should arrive soon. Today is August 2nd and I'm still waiting for the cheque. I can't help but to feel a sense of distrust.

I would like to give Savanna in the service department a huge thank you for going above and beyond in rectifying my problem with my air conditioner. She was more than helpful, always happy to help and a pleasure to deal with. Give this lady a raise.

This rating is solely due to the service department. I have never purchased a vehicle from here, but myself and my family all get our cars serviced here (or at least we used to).

The main complaint I have with Valley Toyota’s service department is their predatory practices that are almost akin to fear mongering.

My mom takes in her new SUV for a routine Service #1 and tells me she was recommended a “routine” wheel alignment (which makes no sense - you don’t “routinely” run wheel alignments with no symptoms of issues). She was also told about a bunch of services that are NOT yet recommended under the Toyota maintenance schedule. When she refused, she was treated like a kindergartener stepping out of line and getting a finger wagged at them. She was told that her warranty may be in jeopardy and her car might suffer without the services.

It appears that the front desk staff at Valley Toyota believe they are better suited to advise on the car’s maintenance needs than the engineers that built the car and its maintenance schedule. Go figure.

Overall, I will gladly drive half an hour each way to go to Abbotsford for my services, even if it means taking a day off to do so. Valley Toyota’s service department is predatory and they need to train their staff on how to properly deal with clients.

We are human beings - stop treating us like we’re just walking wallets.
