When we went to Valley View it wasn’t for us, but for my Sister in law Grace. We were so relaxed and Kevin was caring and answered any questions we had. Everything was explained very well. We didn’t feel rushed and we were told from the very beginning we could take as much time as we needed to decide as we didn’t need it yet. We got the go ahead from Grace and went back to finish the process for her. While we were there we decided to make our own arrangements for ourselves and two adult children. Kevin didn’t know about it till he came back from an appointment he already had. All decisions made in one day and the relief getting that done was amazing. We had talked about it previously but need to talk to the children first. It was a very easy process and the nice thing about it is that they still keep in touch. I’d recommend. I’d recommend Valleyview to anyone who needs to deal with such a trying decision.

The entire staff at Valley View were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They delivered a great amount of care and empathy toward our Family. There are no words to express the loss of our dear Mother. We have not had this experience of planning for the loss of a loved one before so we all had many many questions. No question was a bad question, the staff took time and many meetings with us so we could make our decisions without it being like a “Sale”. Eric Child, Swetlana Boot and all the staff are there because they truly care about what they do. My Family are so thankful for the care and concern they had for us.

Shakeel was super helpful helping out with the funeral. He was really responsive and answered any questions i had almost right away. He made everything so seamless especially when everyone was grieving and not in the right state of mind. I would go with Shakeel if you plan on using this funeral home.

I would like to commend and thank Ivan Zhu for his exemplary service in helping us with the interment of my father's ashes. My father passed away overseas, and my sister recently brought his ashes back for burial. Due to the oversize of his urn bought overseas, the urn vault we ordered years ago turned out to be a bit too small for it. After I sourced a larger vault, Ivan helped us order it, and had everything ready on time on the interment day of our choice. Throughout the preparation process, Ivan was consistently responsive to emails, extremely patient with our questions and always kept us posted of any developments. His professional and thoughtful customer service made our day a bit easier and our grief a bit more manageable. Thank you very much, Ivan, for your superb customer care and service!

This is a wonderful place for a funeral service. The staff are so wonderful my funeral director was so helpful. They are the most kind, helpful and compassionate people.

The staff at Valley View were professional and accommodating in handling the funeral services for my deceased family member. One area of improvement for the managers is to invest in a better remote viewing system. We had some people who could not attend the funeral service personally and were unable to login remotely.

Vickie Siu was our Family’s service handler. She is professional, efficient and attentive, even with the 15hours time zone different. She gave us advices with appropriate contact person in our country, which rest assured our worried heart for home returning. We would recommend her and the funeral services. I would like to thank Al and the staff of the Valley View Funeral Home for all of their help in preparing the arrangements for the cremation and later the service for the interment of our mothers ashes.

While still grieving for the loss of a loved one, I had to purchase a plot and plan for a burial of a loved one with little time to spare. Quang Le was my Funeral Services Director and he could not have been more caring and accommodating. He was professional through and through. He was patient as he guided us every step of the way through the process and while our brains were scrambled, he took the time to make sure we understood every detail and fine print. I admired his compassion he showed as it felt like he was grieving with us. I would highly recommend Quang and Valley View to any one that may need their services.

Three times the price of the next funeral home, everything is mandatory, there are no options. Extremely poor customer service, unable to handle cash because management isn't on site, and cannot keep to their own scheduled appointments. My pickup appointment was just canceled with no replacement because "We have no idea when he will be cremated"

Valley View Funeral Home went out of their way to make me feel comforted and respected in the middle of grieving the loss of my mom. Even as we worked through some financial issues I always felt Shakeel and everyone else cared about what I was going through.

My father passed away over twenty years ago, his service was at Valley view, and he is buried in the cemetery there. At the time noone in my family could afford a marker for his grave; so he has been there without one for over two decades.

Every time I would go to visit, it made finding him incredibly difficult, but the staff at Valleyview always made a point of helping me find him, and even went so far as to walk me out and show me exactly where he lays. It made a very difficult visit much easier to cope with.

Now that I am grown and have some financial stability I took it upon myself to start the process of getting him a marker. I was in touch with Eric Child, and it was an instant feeling of comfort. Talking with him, meeting with him, and planning this memorial felt like I was doing it with my brother; the care he has for my dad was unexpected and very appreciated, I truly felt like I was working with another human who loved and cared for my dad as deeply as I did, and that has made this process so much easier. I can not put into words how much I appreciate all of the staff at Valleyview, but an extra shout out to Eric, I could not have done this without the truly compassionate human that he is. I will forever be grateful to him.
