Val's Pizza

Would give a minus rating if possible. Guy operating the store is a cheat, prices are high (higher than displayed) and food is bad. Ordered a large pizza and received 5 small pieces. Couldn't eat the pizza because it was very oily and smelled awful. The guy wouldn't provide a refund. We thought it's better to save ourselves from horrible diseases than eat the stuff. Stay away from this cheat

Horrible Pizza! I think he uses ketchup as suace.cash only, prices are different than on the board.did I say how bad the pizza was? Owner is an older man he was on the phone having a conversation the whole time and guess what he was saying? Dirty talk.talking about women's private parts

This shop cheats customers. The prices are jokes. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizzas and he took me 10$. The pizza is super salty and oily.
Do not buy from this shop

Fake prices displayed! Paid way more than the price he displayed. He gets into a fight if you question! Seriously?
On top of this, the pizza served, smelled of stale cheese. Was a bad experience, our entire family was hungry and took the pizza on sea bus only to throw it away

Any positive review from here is fake/a lie. I can genuinely say I didn’t know it was possible for pizza to be this bad. I have low standards… and this honestly felt like I was eating cardboard. Absolutely awful.

Val's Pizza, the quality sure has gotten worse over the years.

Pre pandemic this place was BOMB with actual fresh tasting, or at least fresh looking pizza. The boss was a nice man, cracking jokes and sticking to the real price of $2.99 (tax included.)

I went back recently, and oh boy. The boss is just laughing on the phone with who knows, working slowly and lost his smile and care for customers.

The pizza, now has a new ingredient- Small flies. They fly around the pizza and eventually land on it. I had one slice, which luckily didn't give me diarrhea.

Very sad to see his business crash, it was going so well.

Amazing, fully loaded, and unique pizza's for a good price. The owner is a genuine good soul with a big heart and gift for making delicious pizza. Truely one of Vancouver's hidden gems.

Omg, I don’t know how this guys in business, I ordered a Large pizza. He didn’t make it fresh and keep a piece out of it. That’s right. He gave me a Large Pizza missing a slice. He’s lucky I’m a nice guy. A Hole……….

Pretty sure this place sells old frozen slices of pizza sprayed with oil to make it look fresh. The result is a bland, dry crust pizza with oily toppings. On top of that, their prices are misleading and the seller is terribly rude. Even 1 star is too much for this place. Stay away at all costs!

Bought pizzas here for kiddos. The sign said "two slices with drink for $6.99 (taxes included) " so we ordered two slices paparoni. When paying, the man said it's actually $10+. When asked about the difference, he said "that's for cheese pizza only" (checked and saw the sign had unclear/fade away handwritten "cheese" - see pictures) The man also joked/bragged (?) about this is how he can get more "business" because "many tourists and travelers are usually busy on the go" (? !). Will NOT go back!

I walked up to find the guy not there… ordered 1 slice of pizza for $4. What. A. Rip. Off. I saw him checking how many frozen pizzas he had left in the freezer. Not fresh and left a bad taste in my mouth. Do not waste your money here.

The seller is rude. The price is incorrect. It is not written on the stand that the price is only for cheese pizza, then it turns out that any other pizza is more expensive. We bought a medium-sized pizza but he put some pieces in the box not whole pizza. Only cash. But the rudeness of the seller was so unpleasant and upset me. In all the time I have lived in Canada, no one has spoken to me so rudely. Strongly do not recommend this place!

Absolute cheat. Misleading prices on the board to lure customers. Those rates are just for cheese pizzas which are mostly not available. AVOID!

Cheating their customers! The menu says $6.99 for 2slices and 1pop. It's turns out to be $10. The owner quickly grab my money before he explain the price with me. When i ask for refund he just say i put the pizza in the oven already.

A surprisingly good slice of pizza with a crunchy base and tasty topping. I had beef bbq flavour, and it was a decent snack for the price.

I only chose this place because all the other options I wanted were closed - process of elimination!

I could forgive mediocre pizza if the customer service was good (or even vice versa!) But it's literally the worst of both worlds! Pizza tasted like cardboard (I ordered two different flavours and literally couldn't taste the difference) and the owner was snappy and rude. Came here to read the reviews and can see I'm not crazy.

Never again.
