Boutique/collectable store prices minus all of the expertise.

As you see in many other reviews of this location there is a common complaint of prices being exorbitantly high and they certainly are. Many cds are $3.99 but if its something like Michael Jackson it bumps up to $8.99. I have seen manga books with a cover price of $10.99 priced at $9.99.just absurd. Anything with a hint of collectability to it is priced highly with no regard for condition of the item. Many items one sees can be purchased new at a lower price.

The self checkouts are particularly frustrating as the logic behind how they are managed is utterly stupid. I love self checkouts, however while this location has opted to add 6 of them they have also opted to never have most of them open and accessible leaving a poor well-meaning staff member to frequently deal with growing lineups of frustrated people funnling slowwwwwly through 2 self checkouts (the maximum allowable to be covered by a single staff member). There are numerous staff members in the store during these moments so it seems inexcusable.

While I see quite a few reviewers here have had negative interactions with the staff I've always found the staff to be overall friendly and as helpful as they're able to be.

As stated by other reviewers the washrooms are poorly maintained.

Overall it seems as though corporate greed is undermining the appeal and effectiveness of this location.

Decent selection of knick-knacks, crystalware, glassware, display items, etc. They also carry some kitchenware, household items, appliances and books.
Lots of clothes for everyone and cheap dress clothes for sudden events. I've have found a couple pieces of clothing that are nice but it's a needle in a hay stack at this location. My mother also found a dress to attend a wedding without breaking the bank. Their jewelry section usually has some nice pieces but it is small. They also have a wall of costume jewelry by the door. Some items are ridiculously overpriced for a thrift store. This location has a particular smell to it as well.

Over priced, filthy store with literally garbage on the shelves. And patrons who fail to understand the concept of parking between the lines.

Just started going to this one lately, guys at back door great for giving the coupons with your donations. Not great selection of toys for kids, many many dresses for women. Things are gone very expensive but I feel less guilty with the coupon lol. But I like it, it's clean

Store at this location is huge. You can find good prices, but some of the products are overpriced based on its condition. The book section is great! Parking available on site as well.

This place is bad for electronics! Even if you tested them if it turns on or not, you still can't tell if it works. Also, I don't know how the pricing system works but there would be items with some ridiculous price on them, yet if you goto a different store its less! So the pricing is Not the same across the board.
I also find, people just donate things that should be recycled if it they don't work examr, tv, computer, game system, DVD players, broken and dirty items Should Not be accepted.

Overpriced items. I’ve seen dollar store items priced higher than purchased new. Staff is rude and unhelpful

Despite the fact that the bathroom was the most disgusting place I've ever seen.it is the best value village in close distance to vancouver.

I couldnt find what I was looking for, but there are many items here and respected customer service also work in this place.

I like this place the fact that I can find great knickknacks time to time, but I feel sorry for the store (and all other stores nearby the surrounding areas) the fact that they are located right across from the trash dump site where the surrounding air is a bit stinky every time.

Great Value Village location! This place always has tons of great stuff and the selection is always changing! I find tons of great thrifts here for myself and the family. Lots of parking and staff are friendly. Have some patience though when finding things! The store however is always very organized so I don't feel like I have to hunt too much outside of a category area.

I could find some extraordinary stuffs such as classic cassette recorder sometimes. Staffs who works for donation center in the morning are very kind and modest. Good place to buy & donate!

This Store has a lot of nice things for sale but they shouldn't be selling Tommy Hilfiger Jeans for $35.00 for second hand stuff. They should bring there prices down cause more people on the eastside are poor and only get 375 a month to live on and 375 for rent and its hard out here for tent too just saying have a price drop.

First, most prices I noticed are only a little bit below retail.
Second, many clothing -and especially shoes - need some TLC. At least a scrub, and for shoes, a polish.
Third, we found a beautiful piece of Fenton glass - less than retail - but it had a visible imperfection.

It may have value for people unable to pay retail, but only if you are not picky.

Probably the best value village, everything was well organized and place was nice and clean. I will definitely go back.

Its a value village, a fairly standard one with decent organization and price. Nothing stood out as extraordinarily bad or good. The usual grit on your hands after visiting a value village and touching things is still present as usual.

Whenever I'm in a new city I try and stop at the value village to see if I can find anything of interest. I have to say this particular store was very clean and organized I was super impressed. The staff was also helpful and friendly. But the corporation as a whole really needs to maybe take some of there pricing down a notch as these are donated items and times are tough for alot of people and families these days. Time to maybe empty your pockets a little and put that money back into the pockets of the families who deserve it. A used hoodie had a price of 34.99? Some tee shirts are almost 20 dollars that is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I don't know maybe it's just me who thinks this way.

Almost everything I looked at clothing wise was out to lunch when it came to the price tags attached. Everything that was brand name was priced twice as much. I could buy new clothing that would be cheaper. I've been in several other value village's and this one had the highest prices I have ever seen at a used clothing store!

Dirty clothes and high prices. Total waste of time. You can get new clothes for the same price that don't stink.

Pretty busy this time around but everything was as well organized as it could be. Just missed out on a giant Hellboy figurine. Better luck next time

This one had everything I came for and some good quality name brands. Plus, the staff went the extra mile.

Somethings.are.priced.higher than new ar discount stores in the area, or as according to original tag still on there.customer.service has always been amazing though

Nice parking lot. Donations are at the side entrance. Stuff inside varies but boardgames are less organized.

Prices wayyy to high for used clothing and used kitchenware, come on.
Just head over to winners for new clothing at the same price.

This is a large clean busy store, not enough staff. But plenty of items to choose from with a price point that fluctuates from really good to a little too much for that item if you know what I mean.

Lots of fun hunting and gathering in this for profit thrift store. Found some clothing at a good price for a special event we were attending the next day. Also got a couple of books, a watch and home decor items. We had interactions with 3 staff members and all were courteous and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Pretty great selection of clothing, book selection is on the smaller side. The store is clean and covid protocols seem to be in place.

Drop off is very well done. Store prices are not the lowest and no returns on non-clothing items, and only on clothing because you can't try anything on in store right now.

It was busy, but everyone had masks and the employees were all very helpful so that I could get in, get jeans, and get out quickly!

I always go there cause I love to shop at value village but costumer service is pretty bad I was checking jewelry and then that two associates where serving where so rude like they don't want to show everything she is like that's all you want to see she was rushing. I feel so sad cause I love to enjoy my self looking at the jewelry but that way associate are so rude! ALSO THEY NEED TO CLEAN MORE CAUSE IS LOOK VERY DURTY

I thought this was supposed to be a discount used items store! Overpriced on most to all items here. Most of the staff here seem miserable too. You're better off buying stuff on eBay or brand new elsewhere than paying close to retail for it here. Really shameful.

I like it.its a good location and its selection of clothes is good. I have a ton of things from here that are pretty cool. Sometimes the prices are little ugh but it still beats a good deal.

This is a large Value Village and it's the absolute slopiest looking one I have ever been in. There's junk all over the floor, items are just smashed into the shelves and the classic putrid 'thrift store smell' is ever present.

Lots of choice's of all the used items just make sure the electronic item work because no return but you may get a credit.
