Very clean and clearly labelled and organized sections. They make it easy to find where you want to go without asking for help. Speaking of help, the lady at the auto till was enthusiastic, brought energy to the store, and went out of her way to help me when I looked a little lost.

Value Village used to be a great place to buy second hand clothes for work, yard/home stuff and camping clothes. Lately. Not so much. Price increases have made it so it's almost cheaper to shop at places like Walmart, and even if Walmart is slightly more expensive, at least the clothes are new. I used to be able to grab a couple pairs of pants, shirts and some other random assortments for about 30 bux. I was in the other day and two shirts rang in at almost the same price. Nothing fancy or specific. I know things arent as cheap as they used to be, but still.

Self checkouts new and I hate it. I don't want to work here and you paid the last cashier who had this job. Why am I now working here for free?
12 August 2022 10:08
I pledge to not donate here until their prices reflect the type of store they are. Further I will not shop here until the prices reflect the price they paid for their inventory.

If I don't need to go back I won't omg! Everything for what it is is relatively clean but trying to keep people from exchanging personal items with their items.would seem difficult, scared to try shoes on, and the exchange process.is practically a pyramid scheme, they need better policy because I did 5 exchanges before I just gavey.stuff away because I was exhausted and staff seemed to start picking at me.one younger one, seemed ruder than most though most staff are knowledgable and courteous, but that some.and to check by size.just seems that store is a mess,
29 July 2022 14:48
It's a nice place to shop n get things that you want n need. The staff are so helpful in finding what you need.prices are a little too high but other then that it's right

This outlet was my 'go-to' place for used books as they were reasonably priced. It was my mistaken belief, shared by many others, that the proceeds from Value Village's 100% donated merchandise went toward charitable causes. Wow.was I fooled! Firstly, the profits from the sale of their 100% free, donated items go directly into the pockets of the owners of the franchise. Secondly, the prices for much of Value Village
merchandise has increased to levels where they are now on par with new, same items at places such as Walmart. Books that used to be reasonably priced are now individually sticker priced at ridiculously high prices. This realistically and truthfully reflects Value Villge's "New Corporate" money-grabbing mantra.focus on the "profit bottom-line" and the hell with the customer.
15 June 2022 16:47
Zero return policy, an exchange policy on clothing only, zero til-end-of-day holds. Books and most else have gone up in price by triple (not to mention the waste of paper and man hours stickering each individual book/movie/vhs).
Prices are almost the same or more expensive than buying new.
19 May 2022 8:36
Unimpressed that the fitting rooms have been taken away. They only give exchanges. We are from out of town so exchanges are a joke. My friends and I used to drop a lot of money here. Now we no longer do. Ridiculous.
15 May 2022 2:30
Great place to find odds and ends or that niche thing you didn't know you wanted. If you are hoping for a specific thing, enjoy the anticipation for a gamble of unknown percentages. Have fun!
08 May 2022 17:23
Because we donate clothes and they over charge every thing and its donated free to them that is not right
05 May 2022 22:50
It’s overpriced but if you want to thrift go to Hospice Resale Shop and Salvation Army. A lot more reasonable prices elsewhere.
02 May 2022 1:07
Prices are a bit steep for getting everything for free. Staff all seemed about as joyful as shanked badgers.
Can still hunt down a deal, but definetely overcharging
24 April 2022 17:07
I wonder how much longer this company will survive since their prices have soared and its often cheaper to buy them brand new instead of supporting this place. Also hearing they removed their change rooms which is a ridiculous and poor management decision on their part as they sell "clothes" so their sales will
decrease on that factor alone. My suggestion to anyone is to simply not donate to this for profit corporation as it is not the best way to reach out to those who actually need second hand items. Support your local thrift stores and charities in town would be my advice

Used to love book shopping here as books were anywhere from $2-$6 max. Went there the other day and now they’ve put stickers on each individual books and some books are going for $15 each. There’s no reason a used book should be so expensive when you can get brand new books for the same price on Amazon. Seems like price gouging to me ‍️ Besides that, stickers are a pain to get off covers.
07 April 2022 5:37
If you are looking for a suit the day before a big meeting, or want a new pair of pants, want some fabric for a upcoming project or anything else you can think of this is the place to go.
01 March 2022 22:29
Over priced. Selling dollar store items with the tag that says $1 then their price on it is $2.99. Everything is over priced for no reason stained gross ripped clothes for price you can buy them at brand new? !
23 December 2021 1:40
Some unqualified person pricing items. Usually drop 50 dollars on track and sweatpants for work per year at Value village. First time at the PG one and they have generic sweatpants and track pants listed above $19 dollars for USED. These people are insane pricing walmart stuff for triple what you can buy it new. Whatever though, I'll just give my money to Walmart instead of the community.
21 December 2021 17:39
Just have to spend the time it takes to find what you like there varrity is there house hold items mis. Things
Most times they got what I was looking for.
05 December 2021 8:21
Not the best value anymore. Very miss and hit and the pricing seems very high for dirty used items.
17 November 2021 2:39
Not a great thrift store. Pricing is ridiculous, they don’t have change rooms and oh they don’t do refunds only exchanges. So on the occasion you find something actually nice at a reasonable price you better hope it fits cause there’s no refunds. Only good side to this place is their used sports equipment.
15 November 2021 9:02
If you're not their at opening everyday fighting the pickers you won't have much luck finding any good new stock.
11 November 2021 2:13
I went in search of ladies mittens and a couple throw pillows for my new couch. Found what I wanted for reasonable prices. Extremely happy with my purchases!
29 September 2021 3:41
It used to be really good. But now prices have came up alot there.there are alot of great finds to be had thow.best to take look for your self.alittle sumthing for everyone.
21 August 2021 16:25
Stuff is donated free and yet there prices are marked up way to high for the people who need the stuff to help the low income people even thirth stores are cheaper in prices for the stuff that is donated to them and pawn shops are cheaper then Value Village crazy crazy not right who are the people who organize the prices of things in there store in Prince George
09 August 2021 1:09
Armoured Security at front door and scummy location seems to act as a deturant to many locals leaveing lots of quality clothing available.in my opinion boom
06 August 2021 2:45
If thrifting is your thing, VV is the obvious choice! Managed to track down some very nice items this visit!
03 August 2021 21:07
Large selection, but the prices don't compare with the other thrift stores in town. I'll go to value village if I need to find something that isn't anywhere else, but it's not my firm choice.
03 August 2021 20:08
Not staff friendly and prices were extremely high prices then posted.and the whole staff were mouthy and rude.
25 July 2021 23:14
If you're looking for good, clean, rows of organized isles of clothing and reasonable prices then you should come in and see if you can find what you're looking for! Guarantee that you'll find that perfect outfit you've been looking for right here. There's other stuff there as well! Also reasonably priced.
19 July 2021 0:08
Too expensive!
I went there to purchase some books, and I found lots and lots I never read yet, and I got charged over 222 dollars and 50 cents, all for only few books. I ended up putting some back and was charged 30 dollars for only 7 books. Bull if you ask me. Never like how I was treated here. And they promised a sale for them, 4 books get one free and what happens? They charge you jack prices, and never promise that sale. And I end this with the store being a terrible store, I don’t recommend getting the books here, and if you want, I suggest go to Salvation Army for cheap books for better prices
09 July 2021 14:13
Called about an item to see if they were flexible on price. Got told by the supervisor in Prince George to pretty much F off.then hung up on. Completely rude for no reason and the fact they aren't flexible on DONATED item price when they considered themselves a charity program is absolutely revolting. 100% don't support these garbage greed monkeys
10 June 2021 3:25
Value Village is an excellent place to shop when you're on a budget and the people are friendly and fast.
30 January 2021 15:13
Masks were not worn. Even the staff had no clue that people are dying from a pandemic. The manager should be fired for this lack of public safety! Avoid this place
18 December 2020 13:45
Trust me when I say LOTS OF DOLLLAR STORE items being marked up! Most of the time the tags are still on lmfao I like the management change tho I hope they fix their pricing system and a lot of other flawed things. Security was a nice touch but I havent seen them do a whole lot while I've watched people steal very recently. Great if you have a lot of time on your hands to shop and dont mind being harassed by people outside
21 November 2020 23:49
{Sep. 2020}Still no change rooms, -hire someone to wipe down each stall after use, OR temporarily offer $$$ back on CLOTHES, (not including coats, robes, hats, mitts, scarves, etc). Their prices for used items is a little high. I've found used dollar store items with higher price tags than brand new, at the dollar store!
10 November 2020 22:17
It would be great if it opened up early then we would have more time to look around before we travel back home. I love shopping there but not much time to look at things. Please open earlier. Thank you
05 November 2020 14:48
Occasionally you find something for a decent price, most often the clothes are way higher then other thrift stores in town.
02 May 2020 19:03
It's an alright VV. Hardly any good selection took my 2 hours to find 3 items I like enough to buy.
08 April 2020 5:10
Great selection but the prices are pretty ridiculous considering they get all their stuff for free.
31 March 2020 7:42
Clean and very well organized store. Everyone will find something dosen't matter if a new born or a 100 year old grandpa/grandma
22 March 2020 10:09
Why over price everything, some are considerable but most are like wow!
I wanna know who does the pricing there and give them a poke in the eye lol
20 March 2020 10:30
Great staff is friendly, bunch of crackheads roaming around and parking is hard. They are overly priced but still decent place
06 March 2020 0:57
Need better way to price their books. The current price list is too vague and causes issues at the cashier. Messy shelves and the bag system of cutlery forces you to buy pieces you don't want to get some pieces you do want. Cashier's were friendly.
24 February 2020 17:54
I love thrift store shopping, but if there's one place I never go is Value Village. Blows me away the outrageous prices and the selection is usually not the greatest
22 February 2020 14:51
Nice for items but staff is super suspicious of everyone and the prices are ridiculous worse than the salvation army
20 January 2020 2:09
Meh. It's another value village. Be sure to wash the items you buy, especially clothing. I've had friends tell me they throw out the worst but majority just gets a tag and a hanger.
