As far as value village goes its what you would expect, it's large, clean and well organized, but the prices are definitely high

Slowing getting back to normal but no change rooms, harsh return policy, they make you scan ie do there job for them. It has become very anti consumer and until they change key things my review drops.

Over priced! Especially when I bring in my second-hand clothes that are pretty much brand new that I got for a steal of a deal and they charge triple the amount of what I paid for when I see my clothes on the rack, I just cringe. I had to go to the back and ask who does the pricing because it is way too overpriced! Something I paid $10 then donate to them & now they charge $30.

I like the layout and there are a ton of things to look through and I could definitely spend a lot of time in here!

My only issue is pricing, they had used cast iron pans that would take some TLC to get back to working order, for the same price as a brand new cast iron from Canadian Tire.

Of course, Vallue Village is part of the Savers Inc.brand and are a for-profit thrift store, but its really disheartening to see them so aggresively pro-profits that theyr merchandise is worn out and priced similarly to a brand new set elsewhere. Male sure to take pictures of anything you buy and make sure you arent pver paying.

Also I dont donate to them as there are more deserving non-profit stores to donate to.

This is a nice big store, has a great selection of clothing for men, women, and children, good selection of books, toys, and household utensils, and dishes and bowls.

They also have self check out and employee check out

I was just killing time didn't find any treasures this trip but you never really know what you will find its always a surprise.

It may be named VALUE VILLAGE, however; its pricey. Sometimes you can get a good deal, other times its easier to wait for it to go on sale and buy new.

The people who works there are all pleasant and helpful. Lots of inventory to choose from. I think the people who checks the donations lack the full aspect of checking for missing parts before putting on the line or sale.

Kind of a rip off. They get product donated for free and their prices do not reflect this. Good selection. Helpful staff.

Prices on a lot of the used items are close to new prices other items are a bargain you have to know your prices For example they sell used to shirt from Walmart George's brand 45 cents less than new

Wanna buy someone old stuff? Like the smell of mothballs? Like buy things that are priced twice as high as any other thrift store this? This is the place FOR YOU!

VV Boutique is a great little nook for anyone wanting to find some bargain goodies. I always love travelling to numerous locations to get the most bang for my buck and to find the right items from the right environment. Thrift shopping at its finest for a good cause.

Covid precautions all in place so I feel super safe shopping here. Everything is super well-organized which is nice! I love the huge selection of books. Lots of shoes but I do find they are kind of overpriced for used shoes.

I have never had a good experience at this value village. The workers are rude when you enter. Especially now during covid. And the prices are incredibly overpriced for items they are getting for free. Heres a couple examples. Boots that are dirty and not in the best shape they want 25$ for them? And this is normal for this store. This must be a rich person's thrift store. And all the money they are making doesn't go to their employees I can tell you that much. And only a minute fraction goes to their charity. Not impressed by this store.

Really rather disgusted. Bought a pair of jeans and found a rip in a concealed location but it should have been obvious if they were properly checked before being put out for sale. Dishonest practices all around, they are too big to care unlike other thrift stores that are small enough to care and check things personally. Save time by not losing money buying stuff you will just have to throw in the garbage can anyway.

Donate there a lot and see my clothes almost 2 years later overpriced cause they are brand names. Silly. I want them to go to people who need them and maybe can't afford name brands. Not to say I'm better or anything. But I guess luckier then maybe others. Not donating there anymore. I'd sell them myself if I wanted to make a profit. I do find some awesome stuff the odd time.

We are really disappointed with the way value village has over-inflated their prices,
especially when they get most of their items for free. It is possible to buy some brand new items for equal or less money at other stores.

Good store, well stocked with a good amount of product turn over. Clean and well organized. Pricing is a little sporadic, sometimes great deals sometimes less so but good overall

I usually find what I'm looking for. Most of the staff are helpful, altho I must admit that some of them are more than a little judgmental. Overall tho, there is ALWAYS at least one member of the staff who is willing to help, and that's why 5 stars.

Has gone downhill over the past year and a bit. The prices have raised considerably. Some things are being sold for nearly their original value, despite being used and well worn. Not everything there is like that though, you can find some great finds here- just be careful with what you're buying and inspect it closely.

Doesn't have as much of a variety as other Value Village across the lower mainland, I would recommend visiting the Value Village on Clearbrook Rd in Abbotsford instead. Much more to choose from and has a wider variety of things being sold.

Well organized and well lit value village. Lots of items for every need. Store is bright and fresh. Isles are wide and clear of stuff all items labeled well. Staff are friendly.
14 March 2020 23:47
It was fun going through all the aisles. Right now they have a sale of 50% off clothing and shoes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

2 weeks ago I had a very good experience there. I had found a xbox 360 that I was buying for my hubby. Being used I wasn't sure if I should buy it. When I went through the cashier (it wasn't busy) so she reassured me it would be ok. Her nothing something about the game, she plugged it in made sure things were working. Also explained if there was a problem what I could do. It turned out great! And hubby is happy! Thank you!
