I found jeans and there was a tag on them and they came to me saying it’s wrong (if I find it like they they have to sell) but that’s not my fault! Then they tried to charge me an extra 20 dollars thinking I wouldn’t notice because im a kid! Such horrible service will never come here again

This is not a place to shop if you are looking to save money or find deals, they take free donations and resell the items at prices at or near what you'd pay for the item new and unused.

Its not like it use to be everything you buy now is nearly between $15-to $20 a shirt sick even when selling women hygiene pads its the same price in single bag without a deal from the retail Walmart were you can buy 2 pack of 24 pads of kotex for $5 bucks & value is no longer a value its more like ripped off high prices no more colour day sales like it use to be also never like it once was I recommend downtown New salvation army its huge and the best deals everything is between$2 /$5 tops from jeans top jackets everything i came out with tobs of bags i felt spoiled i dislike value village but a friend keeps going to that one alon a old time long long ago when they cared to help & share thats why people donated to help out low income afford now rather charge prices like it from rthd original stores so if you don't know about the salvation new huge newly built down town near the track its great pleaser people that truly take the donation to truly care for the customers not for there head digging deep in your wallet i couldn't believe so must go there skin value village its a rip off its no longer for the people they get dinatùiin & turn it into a bank for there whether like free donation to make off it its true

Very expensive, some things from Dollar store are higher priced, buy new stuff from dollar store are cheaper,
Does anyone notice that they sell donated worn out kitchen stuff at a very very high price.

The 2 week return only policy really sucks. I went there to pick up some camping clothes and found out that I had to take them home to try them on. Half of them did not fit. I was leaving in a few days. They would not give me an in store credit. Even if I am able to find something in that SHORT time period I will not shop there for clothing again.

Very expensive for a thift store.
By mistake I donated a hand bag / ladies purse.
My daughter said she wanted it back so I went back to buy it back and it was marked $49. I could have fainted.
I talked to a staff and the manager said they said they can't do anything.
I had bought the purse online for $35, it was a fake MK Brand. A $35 donated purse was selling for $49.

Everything has become completely overpriced. This used to be my go-to location, as they maintained reasonable price points, but that is no longer the case.

Talize has better prices, especially for clothing.

Prices are more expensive than the original stores.
They should realize that they sell donated items.
Clothes has pet fur.
And fleas.
Staff are way too rude

Plethora of selection for treasures. Some items are a bit pricey, so shop on discount days of the best deals.
Update. I take back my comment to shop on discount days, because I've been twice on seniors discount days and they didn't give a discount.
I'm looking for another second hand store now.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Some items of clothes are more than what you'd pay brand new in the store and they follow you around thinking your going to rob them blind so have a little fun w them in thinking that you are lol

Great finds here, but the prices are WAY too high for a thrift store. People, donate your stuff to/shop at MCC instead! They actually help 3rd world countries with their profit, and their prices are amazing, and they always have a sale going on.

Decent thrift store. Occasionally overpriced, but good for certain things. We had our kids buy each other Christmas presents there this year and with the nice selection of toys for cheap prices, they were really proud of the things they were able to give

He called the next customer up before I was clear as I had china cups I was wrapping at his till. I called him on it and he looked at me like I was stupid. I am very upset. He needs to follow the rules put in place. And there are consequences for your actions now a days follow safety rules. Clerk # 2031

Fairly clean. Nice staff. However there are some questionable individuals that like to spend time there. Almost every time I’ve gone I’ve seen security questioning someone.

The "manager" of this store Josh must have gone through hoops to become a "manager". He is SO rude and unpleasant to deal with and genuinely makes me want to stay FAR AWAY from this Value Village. His behavior is UNACCEPTABLE in a retail environment. He does NOT care about customer service whatsoever, and doesn't know the rules of his own store. He is extremely loud and talks to his coworkers on the floor about personal conversations that should be discussed on breaks or off shift. He ignores customers and isn't helpful in any way. I have shopped in this store for many years and everytime I have an issue within this store, it is ALWAYS with him.

A place I visit often as the stock changes daily. Service is always good, tends to get busy evenings and weekends so if looking for a quiet shopping experience I'd go in the morning on a weekday.

Found some little treasure, high end people high end rides including a magical window of art to add to the aqudic wall mural of framed memories,

I've had pretty good experiences here. However they really don't have very much stock when it comes to electronics. Even their movie selection has very slim pickings.
Lots of books, kids toys, and a huge amount of clothing.

It's definitely worth a drop in to at least take a look around.

They're cut down on some of their selection but still have a good variety. They also have good covid protocols and have added security.

This is a pretty decent v and v, pretty cool and knowledgeable staff. They take the covid protocol seriously, and have security on hand so that it doesn't get TOO busy, or that the shenanigans get TOO outta hand. The washroom was clean, and the variety of clothing; the gadgetry, pots and pans, electronics, You name it, they got it! They've even got stuff that you CAN'T name. It does bother me as well however, that you pay close to retail on let's say Nike, adidas, Hilfiger etc. That never used to be that way, and shouldn't be that way now. Thanx.

The overly aggressive looking security guard at the front door is the biggest reason for 3 stars, though.

Always find something here. Best prices the further east you go. Exceptinal staff here. Friendly and helpful. Covid aware. Feel safe. Keep up the good work.

As far as op shops go, it's decent. I have gotten some really good deals there, but it is often times would not be as clean as other thrift stores.

Staff are ignorant to the homeless at this particular store and they even tooka homeless mans property. Including his tent, clothes and guitar.
