Sure miss the change rooms, although I get why the staff does not want to deal with mountains of clothing to put away.
This VV smells funny - never noticed the one downtown smelling like that. Not sure what the smell is.

Prices have gone up significantly, sometimes three times what a smaller thrift store would sell. You do find good things there though

Good selection, but it's overpriced for a thrift store. They are a for-profit organization, although they do pay charities that bring in goods. Stock is always changing and some good finds can be made if you have the time to sift through it all.

Good place with a variety of products, but the pricing has become bogus for products that are not new.

Friendly staff, super welcoming, need carts to accomodate, you can exchange but can’t return. No credit back.

I love shopping here but super disappointed that there is never any shopping carts to use while in the store as of late. They seem to continuously break and not be replaced. They have maybe 5 for the whole store. Elderly and parents of young child not having a cart to use while shopping is ridiculous!

Affordable things & also supports charitable NGOs. Items sold are used but like new, some times lucky to get new too. However it's important to quality. Moderate Prices. Changeover Facility not there. Happy shopping.

Well organized, large and busy place. The prices are higher than I have seen at some other value villages but there are good quality items.

Too expensive! 14$ for a used shirt - I got 3 new shirts for the same price from Bianca Amors Liquidation Supercenter. Considering the price changes I can no linger support this business, which is a shame.

VV is always a great place to shop, the only downside to it is that their prices keep going up. Some items you'd be better off buying new.

Value Village used to be a place where you could find great bargains, treasures and was accessible for folks who couldn’t afford to shop at regular retail stores. Now we are ‘greeted’ with a security guard, prices which match or even exceed retail prices, and self check out kiosks. This place has completely lost its soul and my business. It’s heartbreaking.

I find alot of the stuff is over priced even things I've donated were over priced. Your supposed to keep prices affordable not gouge.

A place where you get great affordable and reasonable items for your home or yourself until you can find your feet in Canada.

I have never seen such an overpriced thrift store, so much so it should be considered a grift store. Broken items for way more than any reasonable person would even pay for one used in a decent condition. Their poor pricing is reflected in their shelves, packed to the brim with 97% trash and 3% overpriced goods. Would avoid, waste of time

We always donate things that we know other people will need. Drive up, unload and then you feel great. Keep up the great service.

ALL Value Villages are far over priced but this is a decent sized one. The layout is easy to follow and the staff are fairly helpful and courteous. It was the first time I had visited since they switched to self check-out. That threw me off a bit but it was a fun visit and my peeps found some items to purchase so it was worth the trip!

I have issues with this business #1 the kicker they got and are getting rich from people donating to big brother and sister. Which most people think they're donations are going to a local charity when they are definitely NOT. The other is their prices on items (that are donated) are ridiculously high and are jacked on name brands and just high priced on everything in store! Stop scaming people when they think its a charity

Value Village in Kamloops is a hidden gem! I was amazed by the wide selection of affordable treasures. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find unique items. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the pleasant shopping experience. I loved the great deals I found, and the constant rotation of stock meant there was always something new to discover. Whether you're a thrifty shopper or a vintage enthusiast, Value Village is a must-visit destination. A truly remarkable thrift store that exceeds expectations!

You can't try on clothes and the security guy was so creepy. Felt unsafe. Found sandals priced $7 written on them and they tagged value village for $14, double what it came in with.

As usual, such a great place to spend two hours. Firstly, start with the pleasant, efficient Security Guard at the door. So pleasant! After two hours of exciting finds & meeting all kinds of pleasant & friendly shoppers. After finding exciting, reasonably priced items, one can either use the self-serve check out or go through a cashier whom, today, was so patient, friendly & considerate, especially when you're tired. What an enjoyable visit. Super buys & reasonably priced. Just love Value Village, it's staff & friendly atmosphere.

I am a huge fan of thrift stores and love finding little treasures. Someone else has passed on to others. I am constantly checking value village atleast a few times a week, and it's a bit out of the way for me but it's always worth it. I love the staff they are all super helpful and always greet you at the door and the security guard does to they are always smiling. They donate a portion of they're funds to the boys and girls club in Kamloops which is super amazing and another reason to shop here. I always recommend value village to all my thrifty friends.

I have to say that the store is super clean. I would give it a five except for one lady that usually at the front. I find her rude. I would also give us a five if the price is weren’t so ridiculously high.
