Avoid this retailer! Sales person here in Oakville is calling them on order status and it is as we don't exist. Inquires not returned. Payment accepted but follow up care and service nil.

Never buy from Van Gogh if you want quality or customer service. I bought 2 love seats and almost immediately I noticed piling on the fabric on places no one sits - like the pillows. Oddly this happens to only one love seat the other is fine and gets just as much use. Contacted customer service and they “looked into it” but in the end did nothing. These were not cheap - over $5000. At the end of the day they didn’t care. Also the cushions are hard and the inside stuffing in the upper cushion seems very cheap, they already losing their shape. It’s only two adults using them. I wish I had kept my 15 year old well made Ethan Allen sofa.

We were able to customize our couch, ottoman and chair to make it uniquely our own with advice from Amber Mann in the showroom. I can't express enough how appreciative we were to have Amber spend time with us and lend her expert opinion on colour and design choices (there were sooo many swatches!) We are so happy with the final result!
10/10 we would recommend Van Gogh Designs for quality and customizable furniture! Would also highly recommend you see Amber if you have the chance!

I went in to order some furniture thinking I had an account opened. It turns out I did not. I was assisted by Amber who was so professional, helpful, courteous and extremely capable. She assisted in helping me choose the fabrics for the pieces I ordered and gave me some great decorating ideas for my rooms. All of the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly over the years. Also of note - their delivery service, Thomas Transport were excellent guys. So courteous and friendly. Extremely professional. Hats off to all. Thank you for the fantastic shopping experience!

I'm reluctantly giving Van Gogh a 3 vs a 2 review because we haven't gone ahead with a warranty claim as of yet. So I can't speak to whether or not they are going to stand behind their products. But I will say, if I had to do it all over again I'd look elsewhere. Besides a couple other issues, the fabric on our couch is already pilling and fraying after 2 months! And that's not covered? ! We had a 20 year old couch that didn't even have pilling! Absolutely expected a premium couch for the premium price spent. Frustrating to say the least.

Spent approx $2000 on a sofa. Was excited to find something locally made and expected a good quality custom sofa. Unfortunately the fabric used is terrible quality and it started pilling within weeks of having it. Was disappointed to learn the warranty does not cover this issue. I am already looking to replace it and haven’t had it for even a year. Honestly- save your money and go to IKEA! Wish I had

We're a furniture store located in Penticton B. C.and have nothing but good things to say after dealing with Van Gogh for a number of years. Van Gogh consistently delivers on quality, style and value for our customers and due to this confidence we've steadily increased the number of their frames on display in our showroom. They've also managed to maintain reasonable lead times through the pandemic, which is no easy feat and certainly worth some kudos!

I 100% support Canadian business but what do when you are f by them?
I had paid over$9,000 on custom make sectional made by Van Gogh thru local store and I love the fabric and color, I was surprised that was done and delivered by middle of Feb/17 (ordered before Christmas)
the sectional is made in 5 pieces and looks like they rushed or they didn’t care
I am 100% sure if was built for owner or someone from management family or friends would note been made like what I got
Only at one spot pieces click in perfectly, legs are at uneven places, nothing is inline, very uncomfortable to sit on it… u have feeling like you're going to fell/roll down ….
measurements are off, one piece is lower than other, etc.backing look twisted, pillows are not 100% duck feather as I had paid for.
I am very pissed and disappointed, revolted…. I cannot return it because is custom made

I purchased a couch five years ago from Van Gogh furniture. I had some issues with it. I no longer had the receipt. I contacted the company to see if they would consider repairing it. To my surprise they were able to track my sale in their system. They picked up the couch, shipped it to Vancouver from Vancouver Island, repaired it and sent it back to me at no cost. They provide excellent service.

Great showroom and extremely helpful staff. Worth the trip to see how the furniture "really looks", as the pictures online don't do the pieces justice.

I ordered a custom bed frame and head board from this company. I am beyond happy with both the product and the process from start to finish. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave me valuable input on many factors I hadn't previously considered (fabric durability, height of bed frame legs etc) There is a variety of different leg options of different sizes and heights. I was able to get the legs at a height that still allows my pet to be able to hide under the bed as well as fit storage boxes below. I was even able to change the size of the headboard to perfectly fit underneath the window in my bedroom. This is the perfect place to get furniture especially if you have a specific look you are going for. My order was finished earlier than expected and was shipped out and assembled for me! 10/10 would shop here again whenever I need any furniture!

I have purchased both a couch and a bed from Van Gogh.excellent, high quality custom product that I highly recommend. Super happy with my purchases (have had the couch for over 2 years and the bed for about 6 months).

We purchased the Vincent sofa from Van Gogh Designs a while back, and couldn't be happier! It is extremely comfortable to sit on - still to this day we get asked where we purchased it from. The staff were friendly and approachable, and really made sure the process of finding a sofa that suited our needs went smoothly.

Wife and I absolutely love our sectional and could not be happier with our purchase. Highly recommend Van Gogh Designs
