Fantastic place with tasty and beautiful atmosphere. It is a gem in Nanaimo. I had a manicure and pedicure from lovely and professional Yuliia. She is amazing, caring and top notch. As well as I love the idea of removing shoes and wearing slippers, as it is wet outside. Nanaimo doesn’t have many stylish beauty studios, however Van Isle Beauty Bar is the best. I even send my husband for pedicure there. Thank you!

Went to Danielle Zowty for a hydra facial and micro-needling (separate times) and had amazing results both times! I highly recommend her if you’re looking for that perfect glass skin and deep cleanse! She got all the hard to get areas and provided me with skin advice and after care. Danielle is also very professional, precise, and listens to your concerns carefully which I love:) Easily 5 stars

The esthetician named Lindsay waxed me and it was ok during the treatment, but she told me to use brown sugar with soap after the waxing in a few days to help. However, that irritated my skin and caused red spots.

Danielle Zowty at Van Isle Beaty is amazing, I have had multiple hydra facials done by her, after I always leave glowing. The space is so inviting!

I got waxing done by Laura Foreman. It was really pleasure to meet such a nice person. She made me so comfortable. It was an awesome experience. I would highly recommend her. Thank you so much Laura Foreman for such a wonderful service.

I have been going to Cayley for about 7 months now and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is friendly, professional and does an amazing job! I personally always get the hybrid lashes and would highly recommend going to Cayley. Besides we always have a fun chat and at the end I always feel great about the job she did.

Clean, secluded appointments. Excellent work; I always leave feeling extra beautified! Amber picks great playlists.

I had combination Microblading/Microshading done here by Jullee, my first session was done in Dec/2020 and although it wasn't as I had imagined with no visible hair marks more of a drawn on makeup look the color used was the correct match for my brows. I was assured that after the 2nd appointment I would have the desired look. It has now been 7 weeks since my touch up appointment was done and with it now being fully healed I can confidently say that she used completely the wrong color or poor technique which has resulted in the inner hair stroke portions where I have no natural hair look completely fake and disjointed from the rest of my eyebrows. I have contacted the studio and haven't been offered any resolve in this situation so all I can do is wait the 1-3 years while I try desperately to fade them with exfoliation and learn from this situation. I wish I would have done more research into this procedure before having it done.

Most AMAZING place to go and get pampered! Highly recommended for everything from nails, hair, massages, brows, lashes, botox, laser spa treatments. This is just the most incredibly beautiful and wonderful place ever and ALL the ladies make you feel at home and welcomed!

Just went for a lash lift and tint and Ashley was AWESOME. She did a wonderful job and put a lot of care into what she was doing. They have a special formula from Italy that only they carry/use that is the first of its kind in Canada. She’s wonderful, they’re wonderful, you’re in good hands.

Just had Lash lift and tint with @lashdbyamber the other day. Love them! She did an awesome job, super nice. Look forward to my next appointment.

I really like this place. I've had waxes, eyebrow and lash tints, lash lifts, manicures and pedicures. Everyone there is very nice and welcoming, super friendly. It's a lovely space with tons of beautiful items for sale in the sitting area.
I have Laura as my tech for the majority of my visits, and Ruth and Michelle for waxes and my tints/lifts. I've been regularly going there for over half a year now and I've had great outcomes and 0 complaints.
Highly highly recommend!
