Why is Vancity Victoria Dr branch closed every Monday? Back in the 70’s it was to make up for working on Saturdays. Nowadays even the big bank local branches are now open Monday to Saturday!

Also want to add that I’ve been a member over 40 years and that I do most banking online. Having to walk over to find a closed branch on Monday when I definitely needed to do a face to face meeting is very frustrating. Sure there are other Vancity branches open, but now I need to drive my gasoline powered car to another branch further away is definitely not good to the environment!

Please don’t make lame excuses and respond directly to why the Victoria Drive branch cannot open Monday to Saturday just like other financial institutions nearby?

Worst login experience.
I had to reset my phone so I lost access to Authenticator app.
I tried to login but it keeps me asking for code that I don't have access without giving me any options to use my phone code or whatever.
I call, but they were all busy, I chose the option to call back. After 2h without getting the call back, I decide to drive to the closest branch (Victoria & 41).
I explain my situation to the guy there, telling that I lost access to my MFA, they give me a receipt with a new password. I go home, resetted my password and then what? MFA still there! Useless! I have lost all morning just to login to my account! And still don't have access!

After 30+ years as a customer, with countless mortgages and fees paid, I am truly disappointed with this organization.

I jget in today for at Vancity to asl help for cashing out a cheque. But before coming to Vancity I went to RBC.next block.
RBC said they will hold it for 4 days.i been with them for almost 10 years.went to TD to try.also but same thing.

Jade Doolan is an Angel without wings to me today. He help me a lot patiently explaining.and low and behold got somw cash enough time to pay bills. Thank you so much Jade Doolan and to the branch itself.
Right away open my checking account with them. As i am planning to ditch out the bank that I faithfully used for several years and cannot help me a cash out on a cheque.

Andrea (teller) was very helpful and compassionate about my banking needs. She went out of her way to ensure that I had options to work with and was very friendly.

I live in a condo directly above the bank and always smell cigarette smoke coming into my window. The staff is constantly outside smoking on a busy sidewalk. Go in the back alley or something!

Went there for Vancity 101. Super friendly staff, answered all of the questions I had.
